We recently stayed at this hotel for the second time, and while there are plenty of perks, our experience wasn't quite as great as our first stay about two years ago. The location is fantastic! It's close to Disney World and within walking distance of several restaurants, Walgreens, and Target. The hotel offers a theme park shuttle, but you must book a day in advance, which can be inconvenient. There's also a small market where you can purchase snacks, laundry detergent, and other necessities. Our first stay was phenomenal! The hotel felt fun and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Music was playing outside, the fire pits were lit, and everything looked beautiful and well-maintained. This time, the fire pits weren't lit, and the hallway carpets looked dirty and seemed like they needed vacuuming and a deep cleaning. Breakfast was not as good this stay. The potatoes and turkey bacon were overcooked. The food was self-service, which is hard when traveling with young kids. Our room also seemed a little unclean when we checked in. It wasn't terrible, so we didn't say anything. However, after housekeeping cleaned it the next day, the difference was noticeable. Overall, this hotel has a lot going for it, especially its location. We'd consider staying again, but I hope cleanliness and upkeep improve. Our first stay set the bar high, and I'd love to see that experience return.

I mostly enjoy this place and continue to come back, but had something really annoying happen this time. Was trying to sleep in because checkout isn't until 11 am. Housekeeping knocks on the door at 8:45. I have the deadbolt lock on so don't bother to get up because I figure as soon as housekeeping tries to open the door and it doesn't open, they'll realize we are still there and will leave. But no. Housekeeping proceeds to knock and then try to open the door 4 times, before I am finally forced to get up and answer the door. As soon as I open the door, she says "o sorry" and leaves. How hard it is to realize that if the door isn't opening, someone must be in there because that's the only way the lock could be utilized. The extra annoying part is, this place already has late check in at 4 pm, and our room wasn't ready until 3:55 pm. Can't complain about that when that's the listed check in, but why are you trying to get me out at 8:45 am then, when you don't have the rooms ready before check in time. This won't keep me from staying here again, as it's a nice place and conveniently located, but this whole situation was kind of ridiculous.
