Loved our stay! Our girls trip for my birthday was a success thanks to this beautiful Harlem renaissance/art deco property and the professional staff. Although there are a few pan handlers here and there we felt safe because security was downstairs and the elevators to the floors are only accessible with a key card. Expect typical boutique sized rooms with just enough space for what you need. Overall a good choice…reserve it today!

If you reserve a "Park View" room, make sure you get a high floor. We were on 16 and a building was in the way so it was pointless. You will hear sirens all night long for no apparent reason. The water pressure in the shower is non existent. On the positive side, all the staff were very pleasant.

Hotel overlooks a very busy and chaotic main road with sirens & ambulances going back & forth all night long. Also the rooms are tiny.

Unfortunately, my stay at the Renaissance Harlem New York Hotel was disappointing. The overall experience did not live up to what I expected from a hotel of this brand and price range. The service felt inconsistent, and some aspects of the room and common areas seemed poorly maintained. I also found the experience lacking in attention to detail and guest comfort. I expected a much higher standard of service, cleanliness, and overall quality. There are plenty of other hotels in New York that offer a better experience for the money. Based on my stay, I would be hesitant to return or recommend this hotel to others.

The shower door had gaps, the water poured out onto the bathroom floor which made it an unsafe condition for anyone stepping out of the shower. Additionally, neither bathrobe or slippers were provided, I am accustomed to having these amenities when I stay in a hotel. This was slightly disappointing, Overall, my stay was pleasant and the bed was comfortable.
