At YOTEL New York Times Square, travellers praise the convenient midtown location and views, but repeatedly note compact rooms with unconventional, low-privacy bathrooms, visible wear, and maintenance troubles like noisy or weak AC, broken fixtures, and out-of-order ice machines.

The hotel smelled and looked clean. Told I would get 15 dollar a day on parking with the garage on site. Never got the discount. Got surged a daily resort fee like. 51 a day. And nothing worked. WiFi didn’t work. The doors to the little bathroom and shower the doors kept rolling open. Look like black mold inside of shower. Tried to get clean towels. Messsged and called a few times when I complained about stuff. The employees/manager told me to go ahead and go after my complaints instead of addressing them or even trying to correct the situations. Very unfortunate there. Look like there use to be a curtain or something up by the bathroom area to keep it more profit was missing. The air conditioning didn’t work well. Room was warm and muggy. Bed mattress was thin and worn down. Not very comfortable. Elevators barely worked. Took 15 mins to get from room to lobby. Biggest thing was how the hotel and management handled situations or complaints. Didn’t even want to fix or address the issues. Just said I can go. And I have screen shot of it from this hotel.com chat from the property.

Hotel is starting to show its age now and the rooms aren’t the cleanest.Everything inside is over priced (food & drink) as was two nights stay ($750).The location is ok during the day but after 10pm the area around the hotel becomes very sinister so be careful.
