What guests think

At TownePlace Suites Las Vegas Airport South, travelers frequently highlight the convenient location near the airport and rental car center, generally clean, quiet rooms with kitchenettes, and friendly staff providing good value for short stays.

Common downsides include bathroom sliding doors that lack privacy, TVs that malfunction or glow at night, occasional housekeeping lapses, and long check-in lines or delays. Facilities draw mixed feedback: the gym is well equipped and the pool is tiny but usable, while some noted parking fees, a slow or out-of-order elevator, and nonworking outdoor grills. Breakfast earns frequent praise, though a few cited watery eggs or a late 7 AM start. Expect a practical, apartment-style stay with a few maintenance trade-offs.

Perfect location for us—south of airport traffic so very quiet. We stayed as a central location for hiking and activities. East expressway access with minimal traffic. Nearby outdoor malls with good restaurant options for quick meals or sit-down dinners. Hotel seems recently remodeled. Breakfast was great and good parking. Very comfortable and clean.

Nice place very clean and comfortable would have givin it 5 stars but the draining system was not working too well probably due to the garbage disposal not working at all I like to cook and this made it difficult however I would stay there again but would make sure the problem was fixed also the outside grills were out of order

It'll do. The room was ok. Sliding bathroom door was weird because you can see through the cracks of it. Housekeeping didn't offer anything on our 2nd day. No new linens, towels, nothing. Had to keep asking for towels for the pool and the room. The pool was small but nobody was in it. Children had FUN in that pool, 2 days in a row. One side of our stove didn't work. 2/3 staff we interacted with were RUDE upon and throughout. One guy just needs another job. Tall, white guy. Heavy set white lady was SO WELCOMING. She is a DOLL. Overall, I'd stay somewhere else next time but it WILL do if you NEED a place to stay. Children had a BLAST!!

I was disappointed when that I paid for the two drinks on arrival, free parking and the late check out when I didn’t receive the two drinks or the late checkout I did get the free parking but only because I joined their rewards program. So I was stiffed for the extra I paid out.

Best hotel we had stayed in Vegas, quiet, clean and great employees, pool is small, breakfast was delicious, oak meal, scramble eggs, pork sausage patties, bagels, cereal and prepackaged waffles. Rooms are spectacular. We used the room kitchen to cook pasta salad and Cajun shrimp. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room we were in, 229, was unfinished. There was painters tape on the bathroom mirror, the sliding door to the bathroom didn't close and the track it was on was bent. The shower door didn't close all the way. There were still paint splotches on the floor. The privacy curtain had moth holes in it. The TV did not work. I was appalled to think I paid over $500 for two nights in this room. I will never again stay in any Marriott property if they don't have the staff to maintain their facilities.

The room and hotel were nice and clean, perfect for a one night stay. Everything looks new and clean. My only complaint would be that the door in the bathroom is a “barn” style door and it was too small to fit the cut out of the door area and wouldn’t stay shut and would roll open. Had to use the floor towel to keep the door “shut” with a gap on the other side where people in room can look..

The property is located off the strip and it would need a car or a taxi to reach. We only stayed for one night and did not face much issues. Our room had a kitchen, microwave and refrigerator which was quite convenient. The beds were just ok and not worth elaborating. The biggest disadvantage which we faced was with the bathroom door. It was sliding door and with no latches. Not only that, the door would barely cover the entrance and left a significant gap on either side which could easily compromise privacy. The breakfast was decent and filling.

I was unable to rearrange my stay when American Airlines overbooked our flight and we couldn’t make our reservation. I called but Marriott LV South refused to help us because we used a third party, Expedia to reserve the room we never stayed in. When I arrived to check-in, I was unable to because my room was not yet clean. They allowed me to go to the outdoor pool area and said they would call when I could check-in. They never called.
