The hotel was clean and in a quiet part of town. Restaurant food was limited. At the time I visited the elevator was not working properly (Friday evening). Although the staff did a great job in operating the elevator in manual mode, each time anyone wanted to use the elevator they had to call for staff assistance. The really disappointing aspect of this was the maintenance guy had disappeared and was only going to return on Monday to fix the problem.

When we arrived we had the unfortunate experience of having the elevator drop suddenly making a horrible noise, stuck between floors and then started to vibrate uncontrollably. We hit the alarm and within a minute the elevator dropped suddenly to the main floor. We went immediately to front desk who was standing there with maintenance obviously about to respond to the alarm. It appeared that they knew about the problem but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. However even after our reporting, the next day, we heard other people had the same experience. There is obviously no safety protocols being followed. Those elevators should have been shut down immediately but were not. No call ever to us from management either. It was a fairly traumatic experience. We took the stairs the entire rest of our stay. Otherwise, Corning was a great place to visit during GlassFest.

We loved everything about our stay here! The staff was terrific and rooms were just perfect and roomy. The gym was really good too. Restaurant for breakfast was just right and I especially appreciated coffee in the lobby early morning and nice touch with water later in the day.

We stayed at this hotel in Corning for two nights and overall had a good experience. The location is nice and quiet, close to office buildings and the Corning Glass Museum. The hotel has a small indoor pool and a tiny fitness center, which are nice to have. Staff members were super nice. The only downside was the bathroom — the door doesn’t really close properly, so there’s not much privacy. The shower curtain also didn’t work well, and water ended up all over the floor — we had to use several towels to soak it up. The water pressure could be better too.

Beautiful hotel in general. Lovely bar and restaurant. Staff was friendly, pool was nice and fitness center was amazing! The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is that what I deem to be the single most important items in a hotel - the mattress and pillows - were sorely lacking and very disappointing. The mattress was stiff and felt old while the pillows fell flat within seconds of laying on them. The nights sleep was restless and uncomfortable. The amenities are top notch but the actual ability to sleep, was hindered.

Hotel was easy to find! Convenient location, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff was super helpful. Little snack shop at the front proved very useful. The pool is warm and perfect for the kids and the gym was small yet stocked with goodies like a peloton and TRX. I’d recommend enjoying dinner elsewhere if you have the choice.

This place is excellent. I was surprised by just how nice it is. The staff was very friendly. The pool was very clean and a nice size. Our room and bathroom was very spacious and clean. It looked almost brand new. Overall, an awesome place to stay.

I came for the museum, and it’s practically right next to the hotel. Wegman’s is also a short walk over a pretty bridge, where you may catch an Osprey looking for dinner. On to my gripes. They gave me a room facing the rear parking lot, and on both days I was awakened very early by their Sysco truck unloading. It seemed to go on for a long time. Also, the bathroom door is a sliding door, which could be uncomfortable for those sharing a room. The bathroom didn’t have a fan, and I noticed some mold growing in the corners of the shower. Aside from those things, it was the standard hotel stay.

We enjoyed our stay here and thought it was great to be able to walk to all the restaurants in the area. Only negatives :We used the pool, and there was a lot of hair floating throughout the pool. Also since we often stay at Hampton Inn hotels, which include breakfast, we thought this hotel should include breakfast as an equivalent hotel. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable and all the workers seemed very friendly.

Went back and forth between the Hilton and one other hotel in the area. So glad I chose the Hilton! Absolutely no complaints. During our stay the place was quiet which was nice, all the employees were great and the place was super modern and clean from the room to the pool!

What I want most from a hotel is a clean and quiet place to stay. This met both those criteria. And..you could easily walk to the Corning museum! It was interesting to be awaken by the Corning workers time blasts, a remnant of when these sound blasts would tell workers to get up and get going to work. We had a view of the river and the other side of town. A hour out to dining at The Cellar across the river (also walkable from the hotel).

Jenny at the desk was so friendly ! I’ve stayed at tons and tons of hotels and not only did she check us in, she made sure my daughter had hot water for her soup, she made sure if my family wanted a quieter spot in the lobby to talk, absolutely amazing !

The property was clean and conveniently located near the Corning Glass Museum, which we really appreciated. We opted for the breakfast, but unfortunately, the staff member serving us was not very pleasant or customer-focused. Jenny, was very helpful. My digital card took time to work and Jenny helped. The break fast staff needs a little work. They were overwhelmed with a few tables and i came to take breakfast upstairs and seemed like a big deal. The waitress kept saying the cook is very busy. I felt like an inconvenience. The second day the staff was much better. The waitress with the freckles was pleasant.

My wife and I stayed at the Corning Hilton as an overnight stop on the way to Canada. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is located a short walk from the Corning glass museum and, crossing the river, from Market Street in Corning and good restaurants. The hotel itself was nice on the outside, but the surrounding area looked a bit scruffy.

Hotel stay was great. Pillows could be better. Walking distance to Corning museum. And super close to downtown for restaurants and 2 min drive to wegmanns. Only 25 min drive to Watkins glen and Seneca lake and 35 min to keuka lake. Very convenient. Gorgeous area especially in the fall during peak foliage.
