When I arrived, the staff was standing around and not waiting on guests. I was asked if I had stayed there before and told her no. Then she handed me my key card and a pass for parking. I asked where the parking garage was located and how to access the elevator from garage. She seemed very annoyed and sighed and told me in as little words as possible. Room was so noisy I was unable to sleep. The noise was from the elevators and only one of them was working so very slow to get anywhere with them from the 22nd floor. The conference rooms were so hot and almost unbearable for most of us. Would not recommend in the future.

Parking garage is tight, fine for smaller vehicles, registering and putting your parking on the room is charged after check out. Signage is not very clear nor was pricing really disclosed. Room was cleaned up but gum and wrappers from previous guest were still on and in the couch. Room had signs of wear but not too bad.

The hotel is nice, I booked for a high floor city view, I didn’t get much of a city view and they unfortunately couldn’t do anything to switch me to a different room because of how booked they were, also there was makeup on the bed sheets, I don’t wear any face makeup like concealer or foundation. Not sure if it’s just stained..

Upon arriving at the property we immediately had to call the front desk because the bedding was not clean. There were stains on the sheets and the pillow cases. Honestly it was hard to miss and absolutely disgusting that this wasn’t caught. We also found hair on “clean towels” in our room. We went to the front desk to get more and it was difficult to obtain just those. They didn’t have a fridge but instead a cooler that you had to keep pressing a button every 2 hours for it to cool items. Imagine having medicine that you needed to keep cool but had the inconvenience of having to manually tell something to chill the items. Front desk was difficult to get a hold of but I will say they were friendly at least. Check out was also a hassle and wasn’t convenient. Honestly if I could give 0 stars for the experience of this seemingly upstar hotel then I would. Would not recommend or stay again

Very walkable stay. Check-in was easy. It was very dusty, and lots of stains on the bedding and pillows. The pool, but especially the hot tub, was green and dirty. The shower would get hot for a second, then turn cold. It was $26 to park in their parking garage, which is fine, but it was extremely tight. With our sedan, it was very tight, and we almost got boxed in. Unless you don't have another option, I wouldn't stay here.

I liked the proximity to events and restaurants. I also liked the overall ambience of the hotel. The food at the restaurant on site was good and the service was also good. However, the in room amenities and housekeeping were lacking. For a family of 4 we were given 1 bath towel and 2 wash cloths. No hand towels at all. There was also food from a previous guest left in the refrigerator and trash around the bed. Housekeeping came by one time which was appropriate but took all the towels we were given and did not replace them. She was also not very friendly. I have stayed here before and I do not recall something like this happening but I was not impressed this time around.

Nice location! Good view! Nice lobby and 3rd floor open space to sit. However the bathroom door does not lock, neither does it seem private with at least a 1/2 inch crack between the door and the wall. You can see through to the room.

The room was surprisingly spacious and the beds were comfortable. Convenient location. The choice of a barn door for the bathroom in a shared room is a terrible idea. Also the door to the room must be made of paper because I heard every conversation and footstep from the hallway, and it was so noisy I had a difficult time sleeping. Wifi has been complimentary at every hotel I’ve ever stayed at in the past 10 years, but not here. Not a place I will be staying in again.

Gorgeous room 0n the 19th floor,this was a corner room so I had a great view. The down side is parking. I had to pay for parking which, just seems really irritating spending a lot of money at a hotel you should have free parking. Over all I would stay here again just for the room it was really amazing.

I stay at this property frequently. For this stay, i booked my room thru expedia. When i arrived at the hotel, they told me they overbooked and had booked me at the Marriott Residence Inn @ SeaTac airport. It was definitely inconvenient for me since I had a dinner meeting in Tacoma. They assured me that they would pay for the room and taxes for in the inconvenience. When I arrived at the other hotel, thry had no reservation for me and I could not reach the hotel in Tacoma. Such bad service. The desk clerk at the hotel said they had about 25 people with the same problem and the hotel hadn't made reservations for any of them. Had to check in and pay for the hotel after I was assured the Marriott in Tacoma would cover it.

Honestly it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Went to check in and was told that our room was “cancelled by Expedia” without explanation. Staff was completely unhelpful and said I had to call them to sort it out. After forty minutes on the phone, it was determined that the property Cabernet the reservation and sold it to someone else (I suspect for a bribe as the hotel was completely sold out). Expedia repeatedly tried to contact the hotel but she refused to pick up the phone. Staff was combative and rude and dismissive. This was nearing midnight by the way and all the hotels in the area didn’t have rooms. It was a dreadful experience and I have never experienced rudeness on a level like that before.

We stayed because my Father was dying at St. Francis hospital. No hospital discount. The Staff in the restaurant were awesome, went above and beyond. The front desk staff treated me like pure Crap. They were rude, and refused to allow me to extend our stay and told me, in the midst of this trauma of watching my father die for several days, "You need to go online to extend your days". We moved to another Hotel for 2 days, then were forced to come back, to a horrible room, smelled from the kitchen, Smaller room that was more expensive. After the first night back, My father died. We did not stay the second night Oct. 13 but still got charged for it. I was disgusted by how we were treated, I will never stay there again. I was also accosted outside while on the property while I smoked a cigarette by a man offering me drugs. No security staff was around. was very unsafe. We did not even have wash clothes in our room on the third night. A little more compassion, decency and care is what I expected and again, other then the restaurant staff, we were treated like dirt. DO BETTER

It’s downtown Tacoma-that’s the description. The streets are empty and eerie. No people, no coffee shops, no bodegas, no nothing. Some shady looking youth on the corners. Otherwise it is very pretty. It’s 15 mins to the museum of glass and 15 to Tacoma Udab campus, which looked nice but eerily nevertheless. History museum, TAM, and the Port of Tacoma. Nice location if it was a normal town downtown 15 years ago ))) I mean I guess it’s everywhere like this.

The hotel is on the T Line so it is easy to grab the rail service to access downtown (although all available in short walk plus or minus some hill climbs). Restaurant lobby is nice and priced like other hotels. Rooms are clean and contemporary. I was recovering from a mobility reducing injury and found the accessible room to be desined well in terms of space and walk in shower with bench. There is not a lot of activity in the Tacoma Convention Center area, but walking west to old downtown offers nice options for dining, shopping and entertainment, plus great views on clear days.

We stayed in a corner suite with a beautiful view. The room was very nice but missing simple things like a coffee maker and glasses for drinking. The room service was a joke. Took about 45 minutes and came in plastics to-go contrainers that was cold. I guess I expected real plates and cutlery. They did refund our food when we told them about our disappointment. We would stay again but a hard pass on the food.

Rooms are spacious and clean, I also enjoy the gym. The restaurant for breakfast is extremely slow. I stood for over 5+ min to try and order coffee without being acknowledged by a single employee. When I asked if I was in the right spot they seemed annoyed. The next day it happened again I finally had to give up and go to Starbucks. I saw multiple leave because the service was so slow.

Clean. Attached to Convention Center where we attended a 3 day event. Had to ask for linens. A/C system broken. Had repaired second day. No coffee available in room. Complimentary coffee in the lobby 20 floors down was completely empty. The only restaurant on the property had extremely slow service every meal we went there to eat (3). This was our second stay at this property. We will use a different hotel next time we're in Tacoma.

What can I not state... was able to check in VERY early work no charge, front desk provided me with 40.00 breakfast vouchers for 3 days since they couldn't find the 12.00 ones I purchased via Expedia (YAY), my waitresses were SO nice and accommodating, especially Lizy (she checked on me often), the chef David came out to greet me because I raved about my food and how he supplied my specifics. They're more, but just too many to list and all positives. This is my new Staycation place when I want to get away for a few days for sure!!!

Staff were friendly and sorted the issues we had with internet on arrival. The room was adequate but missed coffee making in room, there was coffee in the lobby. There were not many restaurants in the area, other than fast food places, and the hotel restaurant was similar, and pricy. Parking was secure ,but at additional cost.
