When I checked in, the guy running the front desk tried to double charge me for my stay since I prepaid. Then when we got to our room, the crib I requested was not there. I went back to the front desk and he was on a non-work call and browsing websites. He told us the crib had to be sent over from another location. The crib eventually delivered and then we didn’t have any crib sheets. He never at any point apologize for any of this. I was also told incorrectly that we should have housekeeping scheduled 2 days later. It was actually supposed to be the next day but no one ever came according to the housekeeper I asked 2 days later when I noticed no one came to our room. The lobby bathroom toilets were all dirty and neither of the changing tables in both bathrooms was functional.

We were surprised upon arrival that there would be a $48 valet overnight parking fee which I think is exceedingly high! Check in was slow as the staff stood behind a really ugly inefficient and little counter. I bought 2 bottles of water, and when I went to the ugly counter to put the charge on my room bill as instructed, I was told the transaction would have to take place at the bar. Hallway leading to our room needed work and fresh paint. Our room was odd with zero regular chairs to sit in, a shower that couldn’t be closed off from other people in the room, and the paint job in the room itself was terrible where lots of roller streaks were visible. Outside the front door of the hotel was a narrow patch of grass and a concrete sidewalk. Not at all inviting, and the super dirty main entry door into the hotel didn’t help improve my impressions. The hotel itself is very stark and not very comfortable. At checkout, the staff member couldn’t find my reservation initially which was found the day before, and when she finally did find it after about 8 minutes of searching, she was able to check us out. At the valet station, nobody was there for several minutes. My wife went back inside to let hotel staff know, but while she was inside, the valet came strolling in from outside. The only good parts: A/C was excellent, bed was comfortable, and the shower was really nice!
