The location is PERFECT! Only hotel with an elevator to the riverfront—it prob doesn’t sound like a big deal but when you have a stroller or someone older who can’t do the steps—it’s perfect! Hotel is very nice—rooms are spacious—staff was friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay and truly located to everything on the riverfront!

Great location on River street. It’s within a couple of blocks of City Walk and so many restaurants and pubs. The hotel scenery was Beautiful and looked newly updated!! Great bartenders!! We will definitely be back. Also instead of taking those killer stairs, there’s an elevator attached to the hotel. Bonus!!

The property was really nice. Lots of emenities. The Moss Oaks restaurant has great food. Just remember there is a daily resort fee. They offer daily perks. Only valet parking available.The only thing was the floor I was on had a constant wet smell in the hallway. Not sure what was going on in that hallway. The room was beautiful, clean, great view, the patio was great. The bed was hard a little firmer than I prefer. The housekeeping staff was great and responsive. The hotel has great access to the river walk area to all the shops, and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is well located, and clean. The staff is normal. The pool, the gym, the view of the Savannah River are great Rooms are small and beds aren't queen size as advertised, but rather full size which is smaller (73x54: I measured). The room had no sofas but two small chairs. For a family, that insufficient. The Internet was great, but the parking costs $50 a night.

The hotel was clean , staff was nice . Pool was broke and the room was hot . But they brought fans to the room . The breakfast was $29 a person for the buffet and was not that great . Good selection but the taste was not to good . The biscuits and gravy ...gravy was runny and bicuists hard . Then on top it took 20 mon to get the vehicle ..they told me to go to the garage . Went there and sat ..then i asked and they said to go in front on hotel. Then after 10 min asked and tey couldn't seem to find a extra large pick up truck .

We arrived at the hotel and check-in was very easy and the bags were delivered as soon as we got to our room. I didn’t pay attention to anything because we were eager to get out and eat and explore the town. The next morning when I went to take a shower I was beside myself. We were with other couples so I didn’t make a big deal so I just used a wash cloth and cleaned myself every day. The shower was very narrow, didn’t have a glass door only a curtain and no threshold to keep the water in the shower. This left a puddle of water on the floor when we used it. The door jam was rusted and deteriorating as well as the grout and calk which were missing. Thank goodness we were only there for 2 days. I’ve stayed at this hotel before and didn’t have any complaints but this wast stay left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never stay here again.

This was a very nice hotel on river street. Staff was polite and helpful. It was secure and quiet. They gave me credit on my bill for housekeeping issues which was my only issue with the stay was stained sheets were on upon my arrival and ehen requested a change another stained sheet was put on there. Second request resolved the issue.

It is an up kept property evidentially very old. The bar is expensive. The restaurant not up for the prices. Staff at de front desk are friendly. Had a horrible experience with roaches in my room. Did not see that comming since they do housekeeping everyday. Shampoo and amenities are scarce and maybe on the cheap side. Valet is way too expensive. Better look for parjing elseware.

First time staying at this hotel. The hotel definitely needs some updates. The room we stayed had not been cleaned for a long time. (Walls in bedroom and bathroom along with the furniture could use a good wipe down with soap and water.. Carpet needs to either be cleaned or replaced in the rooms. Hotel right on the water so that was good. Valet parking too expensive.

We came down just for the weekend and figured we would stay at the Hyatt as we have before. This experience was not like our previous. The room had cobwebs and was very dated. It looked like a dog had chewed the carpet, and there was obvious water damage in the bathroom. Even though they "say" they clean your room daily, they do not. We returned, finding our beds were not made, the trash cans had no liners, and we were not given towels/washcloths. As a Hilton Honors member, this is unacceptable. We will not be staying at the Hyatt again.

The kindness and friendly attitudes of the staff, the amenities, the visual appeal of the hotel, the lobby design, the river view rooms, the walkable distance to the riverwalk for shopping and dining and entertainment… There so many wonderful aspects to the Hyatt Regency Savannah. Unfortunately after 3 stays over the last year, we have always had some kind of cleanliness issue in each room. Nothing awful but just a lack of attention to detail. Shoe prints on the ottoman. Sticky drips down the wall next to the trash can. Towels with frayed edges. A sticky desk top. We pack our own cleaning wipes so we just take care of it ourselves or switch rooms if it’s excessive in that room. We will still return - we just keep our expectations of cleanliness a bit lower.

So it is hard for me to review this hotel! Staff was amazing!!! Super friendly & ready to assist! Valet was easy & super friendly/quick! The hotel is nice but the windows of the room come out to the inside of the hotel! No sun light not views! This should not be a thing OR should be clearly stated when reservations are made -Getting a nice hotel on the river walk but you can’t even see the sky or sun!!! It is a very dog friendly hotel- I am a dog owner, I love dogs but also needs to be stated that most families there have dogs & barking happens 24/7!

The bathroom was in need of repair. Short shower curtain didn't contain the water so we had to mop up a lot of water off the floor after each shower. Apparently this has gone on for awhile because the grout/caulking was bad.

The hotel is beautiful with a great view of the river. Wonderful location in walking distance to all the great things in Savannah. The rooms were huge and clean. We went with our kiddos and a family group. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. Sadly the Air system is unsatisfactory. While there is a thermostat in the room it had ZERO effect in changing the room temperature. The hotel apparently sets the temperature to 70 and we were unable to cool the room below that even with outdoor temps in the mid 80s.

I loved that it was right in the middle of River Street and accessible to everything. I didn’t like the small room, only allowed to use the coupons given at check in when charging items to the room and that the hotel rooms seemed to be a little outdated compared to the lobby where obviously all the money is going. The view was great. Overall 8/10

PROS: Bed and pillows were comfortable, location was great. CONS: poor upkeep of the room, tiled floor was sticky, torn/ripped carpeting, no option for queen size beds, no microwave, refrigerator barely cooled down drinks or food, bathroom was so tiny that you get hit by the door if someone opens it from the outside. It was also difficult to unload or load the luggages since they prioritized the valet parking, not enough space to park temporarily to unload or load our luggages. You and your luggages will definitely get soaked if it’s raining on arrival or departure. My family had high expectations for this hotel basing on our experience with other Hyatt hotels, we were definitely disappointed. Not worth the price we paid for our 4 night stay. I had seen similar reviews but it appeared that this hotel’s branch management didn’t do anything to correct these issues.

Location was great. Savannah is an easy walking city. Staff was helpful and provided warm southern hospitality. Rooms condition sub par. Stayed in an inner room - was dark lighting was terrible, extremely dim, couldn’t tell full cleanliness level. Deferred maintenance, sink fixtures loose and leaking, chipped paint on room door and closet doors (which wouldn’t stay closed). Watered down shower products ( conditioner in particular), chipped glass tray on bathroom sink. Beds on the softer side.

The staff was amazing, we had an issue with the air not being cold enough but they sent a person up immediately. The rooms were clean the view was amazing and the valet parking was wonderful. Can't say enough about this hotel.

The property is a little dated . Upon arrival at 3 in the afternoon, I wasn’t offered the “arrival” cocktail . I had to check out at 4:30 am . There was no one at the front desk . The only option to park on property is through valet. I followed the instructions to text so my car would be ready . It didn’t happen and no one attendant was available to retrieve my car causing my departure to be delayed . The location is great on the river

Hotel was extremely loud especially in hallways with cleaning staff constantly yelling and talking loudly back and forth from hallways and rooms. No sound proofing. Room was battered and dingy. Front desk staff were not friendly- seemed put out at people checking in. Very cold and corporate. No southern charm or friendliness.

Overall it was an ok stay. Previous ones to this hotel have been excellent. There were 2 problems. We got up at 10 to be out by 11a. Housekeeping started knocking on the door at 1045. We were packed and waiting for baggage assistance. I told the housekeeper what we were waiting for. She knocked again at 1050. We again told them what we were waiting for. The housekeeping floor supervisor I assume came and knocked and at that point I said the hell with it and rucked my own baggage down stairs. The valet service was not working and we were forced to the garage with about 50 other people to wait on our car for 30 minutes. After being rushed out by the housekeeper we realized when we got home we had left clothes in the closet. My wife called and was helped by a young lady named Rachel in lost and found. She was a bright spot and assisted in getting our clothes enroute to our house.

The room was booked here through Hotels was apparently overbooked so we did not get the room we booked and paid for. The staff did not tell me this was the case so I didn’t realize this until I got to my room. Went all the way back downstairs just to be told they overbooked and this was the only room they had. They comped my $50 a day valet parking for the inconvenience. They blamed Hotels.com for overbooking. Parking is a nightmare. It’s either $50 a day for valet or go to a public parking garage a few blocks away. The hotel itself was ok. There are much better options along the riverfront in Savannah.

Hotel was very nice, clean, great location. Most of the hotel staff was excellent, check in, bar, restaurant staff was good. Breakfast waitress wasn't very attentive seemed like everything was a bother. We ordered off the menu instead of the buffet. valet service was very good at drop off but check out to leave was poor. Text the number and code. got a message I would have my car in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later I walked into the parking garage to get my car. Three employees were standing there talking. That was not a good experience for the $50.00 a night. Over all a few things should be addressed. Parking is overpriced. Rooms very nice. I would stay here again.

The beds and pillows were great---despite it being an older hotel, it didn't disappoint in the amenities and general ambience. Very poor service and staff attitudes in the lobby cafe, however. Food there was quite disappointing as well. Access to the Riverfront made up for some of it.

The staff and concierge were AWESOME!! The waitress at the restaurant was terrible, no personality whatsoever. Te presentation of the ribeye steak left more to desire along with the ressoto which was VERY SALTY and for $46.00 was disappointing. Our stay was a celebration of our 13th anniversary and the dinner was a et down.

Great staff , clean and great location. We went for breakfast and could only order the buffet at $29. Per person. We are older and needed coffee and a couple eggs. We didn’t need the entire buffet. I dont understand a Resturant of this caliber not offering a full breakfast. I would give it a 5 star but can’t because of this!
