Though this hotel boasts about being recently renovated, the two main reasons for my pick were to use the pool and the gym. The gym was "out of order", the pool gate was lashed closed with an electrical power cord, and even the lobby drink machine was out of order. It was also extreme difficult interacting with most of the front desk staff due to a language barrier or them finishing up other work for 5-10 minutes before letting me buy some food from their lobby shop, when I clearly saw her playing on her phone instead of doing this task before I arrived. Though the internet was plenty fast, the session lengths are too short so I had to re-sign in about ever 4 hours regardless of usage. But I want to give some positives, the room was clean & comfortable and the breakfast in the morning has a good variety and quite tasty. Good for an inexpensive stay, but disappointing to have key amenities unavailable.

When I got there, there was no soap of any kind or shampoo. I went downstairs walked around with the girl from room to room getting some shampoo and soap. Only to take a shower and find out that there was no blow dryer. I went back down, walked around the hotel again. Bought a frozen dinner from them just to discover that there is no microwave. No utensils, no cell signal to speak of, no Wi-Fi, the printer in the so-called Business Center did not work. They check me in choice and made me pay for the same reservation two times even though I showed them the receipt from Expedia. They told me to go pay it twice and dispute it later. Worst hotel ever.

Baymont is now 'Developer's inn'. The bldg is in very poor shape. The prison behind it has a 2-star rating so its in better shape. Bare minimum remodeling has been done: beds very comfy, flooring is nice, shower is updated, ac runs great. Only 1 tiny trash can. No hooks in bathroom to hang anything. Pool area looks good. Front desk lady was very nice. Breakfast needs help- first day ALL the sausage patties were burnt, oatmeal half-cooked & sitting in water. The pancakes were very tough my utensils wouldnt cut thru it. But 2nd day was good- bacon was yummy, oatmeal was perfect. However both days the waffle maker was not available...i was told they had no waffle batter. Also the tv is not on any station to watch...just a single picture of coffee.

Warning! DO NOT STAY HERE. It is soo filthy we even found rat poop on one of our beds. It was a terrible choice to stay here even for a quick 2 nights. The staff do not care if it’s clean or if you complain. We had to go out and buy cleaning supplies just to make the room live-able for 2 nights. If you complain to the front desk they send a really rude guy to “fix” the issue. But he will just cuss in Spanish the whole time. He even asked me “do you know how to change a bed, can you do it” like hellooo we are paying to stay here. Our Toliet clogged every single time we used it. It was the worst. It really sucked staying here with small children bc it was so dirty. Breakfast is ok but you have to get there early or you will get nothing. Lots of parking. Hotel is right behind a jail so just fyi. They charge a “resort fee” but it’s a joke bc our room didn’t even have towels and the pool is dirty as well. When we asked the guy they send to “clean” the room he said there’s no towels they are being washed right now will bring to you tomorrow. The inconvenience is unreal. You don’t matter they do everything on their terms/time. I get it, it’s a cheap hotel but we’ve stayed at MOTELS around the world for cheaper and definitely not dirty like this place. Save your money and book somewhere else. Trust the reviews.

The hotel was sketchy at best! The room was not clean, with a floor that looked like it had not been swept for days and dirty bathroom walls. Also, no hand soap provided! The towels were also stained and very thin and scratchy. To top it off, there were bugs in the room in the morning! We checked out a little before 7am to get out of there as quickly as possible. The woman at the front desk didnt do anything other than take our keys, but told us "You’re good." About 1pm, I got a text from the hotel asking when we were planning on checking out! I had to call the hotel to make sure they knew that we had left!

The check in process was amazing! The front staff were absolutely wonderful. The room appeared to be clean However everything felt damp. The room definitely needed a dehumidifier. The blankets felt damp on top. In the morning when we got up, all our clothes were wet from the moisture in the air. Also the room did not have fridge which I found odd. Overall, it was an okay stay.

I wasn't expecting a run down, old hotel since it's owned by Wyndham, but that's what we got. Old plumbing, old lighting, old mattresses. The toilet didn't flush properly. Hated it. The people in the front office were not friendly. It's right next to a jail too. Was not happy with this hotel and I'm so glad it was for only one night. ICK!

It’s a nice/ok place new beds and stuff but the view of the Orange County prison is a complete let down, like who wants to stare at a prison on vacation the pool is not what it looks like in the photos Expedia is doing a great job enhancing photos on there site, but it was quite and not to much foot traffic least to say. It was a cheap and affordable spot that was 15 mins from universal and Seaworld about 25 mins from Disney if that helps.

When we came there was a long lane to check in, no working AC in Lobby. Only one person on staff and it took an hour to check in. At checkout the staff mixed up the room numbers and we got charged again. They reassured us they canceled it. We would not recommend that hotel and will not stay there again. Staff was unfriendly, took over an hour and 20 mins just to get checked in, even when I used the online check in to avoid the lines. Reserved a king bed room, was given two full beds instead, and when I mentioned it at checkout, because I was way too tired after not being able to check in till after midnight, I was told very rudely that that king beds were first come first serve because they were doing renovations and I just get the room they give me not the one that I reserve reserved. I will never be staying at this hotel again again and I’m very disappointed that it even has the name Wyndham attached to it because this is not the type of service that I am used to from this company. Very, very disappointing.

Ms Rosa and Katherine were very friendly and welcoming. I like that its convenient right there next to I-4,clean rooms, nice tub where you could take a bubble bath almost like a garden tub and it came with Dove soap shampoo conditioner and body wash gel so it was nice. Only real issue was the mini fridge and they brought another one immediately late at 1030p which usually you would have to wait next day somewhere else. Also nice they keep people from living there long-term. Breakfast is pretty good and with alot of variety. Definitely will stay again because the prices very affordable compared to same quality hotels.

Their lobby was 85 degrees. They said the AC broke. The parking lots were nearly pitch black. The elevator was rickety and a little scary. The buttons wouldn't light up to confirm it was selected and it jumped when it stopped. The room was very clean(smelled like bleach), but the blinds were questionable, you can kind see inside from the corners. There was a long black hair in my shower, but it looked and smelled clean. They only had shampoo, no shower gel, which was crazy! I would not return. It's making me side-eye the quality of Wyndham hotels (this was the 2nd of 3 I stayed at in a span of 2 weeks, that had me feeling iffy about Wyndham).

Overall I had nothing bad for me personally about this hotel. The location isn't too far from Universal which was the main reason I picked this place. If you're going to Disney it might be a little far for you. The bed was comfy and the room service came every day so the room was clean when we came back. The elevators definitely are a little o nthe older side and maybe need replaced. Never got stuck or anything but on one of them the doors were slow to close and the other elevator seemed a little run down. Overall if you're not looking for more than a room to sleep in and don't mind the location I'd stay here.

The Hotel is right next to the Orange County Jail. They advertised breakfast, but all they had was a go-bag with a yogurt and muffin. The bathroom was not that clean and the toilet was running. Only 2 towels in the room. Beds were not comfy. Room smelled like mildew. I didn’t check-in until 2a so I wasn’t able to cancel my reservation. I slept 5 hours and woke up and canceled the rest of my stay. Hotel is very cheap, but I was willing to pay more for a better stay.

A lot of the decor needed updating, and the bathroom setup left a lot to be desired. Doorknob on the bathroom was falling off. Breakfast was decent, even if the selection was small. Everything was clean and felt safe. Beds were extremely comfortable. Service was friendly. For the price, I'm happy with the experience.

Developer Inn expected us as guest to pay daily hotel service fee for services that were poorly rendered. Housekeeping would pick-up our towels, but failed to replace the bathmat, washcloths, hand towels, and towels they picked up, as well as leaving toilet paper in the room. Very lazy in delivering room cleaning, towel, and linen services. Housekeeping also blocked the elevator doors from closing with linen containers. Breakfast was also disappointing, as the eggs, waffles, and pancakes were cold and rubbery. We always stay at Developer Inn Downtown Orlando and never experienced negative issues or services. Maybe it was a fluke poor one time visit and will consider planning another visit. In the event we once again experience another similar visit, it may end up being our last visit with your hotel

We came in from Chicago at 12am & the place looked really sketchy but inside was super nice & the rooms were even better! I love that house keeping would take our dirty towels & have clean ones folded every day we were there! The breakfast was so good! They had scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, pancakes etc. definitely saved a lot on breakfast. The staff was amazing! Would definitely book again!

I made the reservation with this hotel because it was saying that had breakfast included and when I got there at 1am I was informed that the breakfast area was being renovated and the just had one apple and water to give to each person as breakfast It’s a shame ! I had to expend $60 to have breakfast with my family.
