Our stay was very good, the only thing I would like to see, check in time at 3 pm and check out time at 11am as it is in normal check in and out time in hotel. after traveling 5 hours, that time matters. With the early check out your rushing to get out. Also, You need ice trays because the ice maker didn't work. When having a apartment type place, I feel we shouldn't have to buy ice. Everything else for cooking utensils you had was great . The shades were beautiful, yet they let to much light in at night. We loved the stay. The staff were professional and great, I would recommend this place to friends and other family members to stay there.

The place is clean, cozy, and spacious. I really like how it feels like home, especially with the amenities like the refrigerator, dining table, and dishwasher. The mattress was a little too soft for my preference, but that’s just personal preference since I usually prefer a medium-firm or firm mattress. My only concerns were the bathroom sink, which is very high. I’m 5'0", and the sink is almost up to my neck. Also, the top bathroom drawers are a little difficult to open because they snap down quickly and can pinch or hurt your fingers. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated how comfortable and homey the place felt.

There are two Prost the lake placid inns. One is a boutique hotel and the other is an apartment building. I thought we were staying in the hotel but we were in the apartment. It was very nice but for just one night I would have preferred to stay in the hotel.

Room wasn’t clean. The pull out bed had dog hair all over it. Other than that everything else was great.
