Rooms are incredibly small with the bed touching 3 walls and no dedicated parking area. Parking fees alone were horrendous.

Starting with the first person I dealt with, Sam Kauffman, to the bartenders and cleaning staff, everyone was awesome and the facilities are amazing. I think citizenM Boston North Station has the best bar area, work area, hang out area that I have experienced and I travel a lot. The breakfast is worth the money especially as it starts early. The business center and printers were extremely helpful as I needed to print some paperwork for a meeting. I was scheduled to stay there for two nights but ended up staying all week. Very impressed and will visit other of their hotels.

The room was clean, the mattress was comfortable, the location is great but don’t u ever go with a car cos parking is very expensive and hard to get.

Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful. Bed comfortable. View fantastic. Gym is small, but had everything I needed for a complete workout with weights and cardio.

The hotel’s location is fantastic — just steps from TD Garden, making it perfect if you’re in town for an event. It’s also an easy walk to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, which was a nice bonus. No onsite parking, but several garages in walking distance. Check-in was quick through the app, and for those who can’t use it, there were iPads in the lobby for self check-in and a hotel representative assisting. The main floor had several comfortable seating areas and a stylish bar that created a welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spotless but extremely small. The sink was oddly placed just inside the entrance since there wasn’t space for it in the bathroom. The bathroom door opened inward and hit the toilet, so we had to step into the shower to close it — definitely inconvenient. The shower was large enough for two people, but there wasn’t much space afterward, so we had to dry off in the room. Everything was controlled by an iPad or the app — from the lights and curtains to the TV. We thought it was cool, but for the less tech-savvy guests there were traditional switches on the wall and a remote in the drawer under the bed. The bed was built into the back of the room, pressed against the window, so the person on the inside had to climb over to get out. It felt cozy, though, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, the hotel was clean, modern, and in an unbeatable location, but the room size and layout didn’t quite justify the high price.

Great place to stay, about as close to TD Garden and North Station as you can get. All day coffee bar is awesome, and it was a nice place to relax and take in the views of the bridge and the Bunker Hill Monument. Possibly the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Fantastic.

Well run hotel. Nice staff, great common area and deck spaces. Rooms are small but very well organized and highly efficient. Bed was excellent. Gym is ok, could use a few key weight machines and more than one weight bench. But, otherwise very clean. Excellent transportation hub too.

This hotel is in a great location for visiting Boston. Hotel has a clean fresh feel to it, seems new. Only problem is bed is large but can't get out without waking person sleeping on outside because it's a wall to wall bed. But had great stay anyway. Parking is not easy but we found a spot short walk.

Small room but super clean and cute and perfect location. Beautiful common area w great bar and one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. Great vibe and super fun. Would stay again. Didn’t care for the gym, that was not great. Everything else was great.

Very cute and easy to check in. The only thing is that the concierge did not know much about the parking garages around the hotel, I would have appreciated if they knew which one is cheaper. Ended up paying 200$ US for 2 nights in the parking garage below the hotel.

Guest service Staff at the bar and registration were amazing! However the cleanliness of our room was sub par. The rooms were not clean properly.

First night there was a discarded contact lens in the bed as i went to sleep and a spider @ the foot of the bed which I killed & disposed of. My last day of the stay room was not made up. Before I left that day I specifically told one of the housecleaning people I was leaving for the day but came back to a room as I left it. brought all of this to attention of front desk.

Enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a convenient location. Rooms were small, but clean.

Sheets had stains no towels in room

Cleaning rooms wasn’t automatically done on a daily basis unless you requested it the day before. I did that but my room was never cleaned. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel.

We love staying at Citizen M, as the hotel is so convenient and is in walking distance of major attractions. One thing i do have yo comment on, was the cleanliness of the elevators and the entrance into the hotel. There were alot of spills in both locations along with trash. We came in and out of the hotel multiple times within a short period and noted that neither were attended to. Our rooms bathroom does need a bit of attention as the shower floor was "bubbling" and the sealants to the toilet was coming apart from the wall. The room was VERY warm even after adjusting the temperature.

I would recommend this hotel for couples and single travelers, however for anyone else the room would be too uncomfortable. The room is very nice and clean however the bathroom situation was semi see through with the curtain outside of the bathroom being see through. The room is also not that large but the bed was a nice size and the iPad that controlled the lights, tv, etc was very useful.

Bed was a king but only suitable for one guest because of how it was situated in back of room. Only one way to climb out over the side. This hotel is high tech and not suitable for older low tech travelers.

Loved that the property was right next to TD Garden which was the reasoning I booked it for an easy access to the Celtics game. The room was nice because of the view however the shower and toilet are pretty small. My room was also extremely hot, I tried to put it to the coldest it possible could the first night and it never got cold. The second night I called the front to complain and they said the room temperature was reading the coldest it can get and that the only thing they can do was bring us a fan in which we received past midnight after calling for a 2nd time because it was already 2 hours of not receiving it and when they answered we were told we needed to wait as theres only two staff members currently on shift.

Hotel is mostly nice, however we could not get TV to work and when I called down, there answer was to try the remote. The TV kept buffering and no sound. I asked them to check it out and they never did.

Check in was a unique experience. I don’t think it was better, just different. We were very surprised at the small size of the room when we walked in. The bed could only be accessed through one side, so one of us had to crawl over the other one to get to our side of the bed. The bathroom was very tiny. The toilet had a huge hole in the wall around it, and it looked like it was made that way. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed interacting with them. However, we woke up the first morning. We were there and wanted maid service, only to discover that it had to be scheduled by 4 AM of that morning to get it.

Very modern and hip vibe but the room was extremely small. The bed was tucked against the window wall so the person near the wall had to climb over the other occupant to get out of bed.

The rooms are very small and uncomfortable. The toilet and shower are encapsulated together in an oval plastic “room” with a thin curtain you can open and close. There is also what is comparable to a hospital curtain divider that you can separate the bed from the rest of the room. There is very little privacy for anyone who needs to shower or use the toilet.

Great location and efficiently designed room. But the price did not seem to reflect what you get (small room, toilet in the shower, no ice or water) fridge kept drinks lukewarm at best. I chalk that up to their eco-friendly design. Loved the view and the the bed I’d consider staying there again in the future

Hotel Internet/WIFI was not working most of the visit. Not many shops close to the hotel. Food was not good at the hotel. Breakfast looked like cafeteria food. For the price you pay for accommodations, Should have a nice sit down restaurant in the hotel so guest want have to walk to get decent . For this hotel to be located that close to TD garden, should be more things to do on the strip near TD Garden.

We met up with family in Boston to celebrate birthdays. Isaiah went above and beyond to help us celebrate our birthdays. All the staff were very friendly and customer service was top notch.

We had a problem with our first two rooms but the managers and staff were super helpful and got us moved. I made a mistake on my booking and was not aware of my checkout date, the manager Zach called to let me know and was unable to get me a room for the night. They had to go into our room and gather our things to get the room ready for the next guest. They put our things in bags and placed in a locked conference room for us to go through when we returned. They offered to get us a room at another property and took such care of us! A few things you need to be aware of. 1. location is next to a venue and has activities every day and can be loud. 2. bed is from wall to wall so you have to crawl over your bedmate, could be an issue for elderly etc. 3. Bed was just not comfortable for us. PROS: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, food hall next door, starbucks around the corner, market around the corner, breakfast is GREAT, BEAUTIFUL view! Would not stay again but would recommend to anyone young and wanting to stay where the action is!

Went to check in on Saturday night on Memorial Weekend. Had a reservation and when I went to check in they had no rooms. Didn’t care that I had a reservation and told me that there were other people in the same situation. What a disaster and completely unacceptable. Skip this hotel!

Staff is so friendly and helpful. You can check your bags any time before check in. This time, there was a room available right away!

Our experience at the Citizen M in Boston was nice! It is a relatively minimalist space, but very comfortable! We enjoyed our stay- fair warning there is not parking, so it is ideal for someone who is going to Boston without a car. Since it is connected to the TD center, when we arrived on Friday night late, a concert was ending and every street was blocked off leading up to the hotel (not the hotel’s fault!) I tried calling the hotel to get directions, but was unable to reach anyone. This is the reason why I am giving this review 4 stars instead of 5. Location is really great and convenient to North End!

Although the hotel is well decorated, the reliance on technology for everything is over the top. Not everybody is into that. For example, the CC caption would not go off on the tv and the first two ambassadors we brought it up to gave us some excuse that the IT guy was “off campus” but would get to it. He didn’t. It was only when we complained a third time to another ambassador did she actually problem solve and offer us a new room. This was on our last night there. I really don’t understand why the first two ambassadors we approached couldn’t have thought up that solution days earlier. They have absolutely no ability to good old fashion problem solve without relying on technology. Need the human touch back in staff.

First time staying with CitizenM and definitely needs some getting used to. overall, it's not bad. The bed is comfortable and clean. Ipad controls everything in the room. Only problem was that I requested cleaning on iPad but no one ever came. i had to talk to staff to request clean towels.

I love CitizenM and the one in Boston didn't disappoint. The check in staff (it is self check-in, but they always come over to help) and the staff in the "canteen" were wonderfully friendly to a tired traveler.

Our stay was amazing from start to finish! The check in staff was super helpful. Our room was ready earlier than expected which was great after travel. The hotel was close to everything, great food, great shopping and of course right beside TD Garden. The best part was the view from our room. Get the downtown view it’s absolutely worth it! Also the checkout staff was amazing and super happy to hold our bags in check out day. We will be returning in January for our anniversary trip and some hockey at the Garden!

Great location very clean hotel . Walkable to everything in Boston from downtown to little Italy and north station subway is downstairs to commute anywhere in the city and Boston city park to freedom trail is only a 15 minute walk I recommend this hotel to anyone from singles to couples !

Great hotel located in a great spot. Came for a concert. Arrived next door at the train station, and was at the hotel in a minute. Friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, and cute room. Very clean. Great food, the breakfast buffet was worth it!

This is always my go to hotel in Boston, however it lacked compared to normal. The food wasn’t good, they were out of stuff, and the staff at the bar/morning breakfast just seemed like they didn’t want to be there. The food choices for breakfast were not as good as normal. Who serves baked beans for breakfast? Other than that the bed was comfy and get downtown view it’s totally worth it

Very cool common areas with books, games and great city views! Rooms with views are excellent and breakfast was delicious with wonderful options. Service was professional and courteous.

Great experience overall! The decor was modern and awesome, service was amazing and the room was very clean. The bar could use a wider selection of spirits, and the restaurant could use more menu options but I'd definitely stay there again.

Check in at any time, great lactation, clean, and staff are lovely. There’s a great coffee bar and drink bar. Additionally, food is really good that they serve.

The breakfast was delicious they have a wide variety of food. The bed in this hotel is the big plus comfortable and great location in the room with the window next to it. The internet was excellent and the transportation very convenient with the train station just next to excellent. Great. Great!
