No where near by to purchase sodas or just simple overnight necessities. A great little coffee shop at the corner but only available during the earlier part of the day.The hotel has basic supplies, but shop or vending machines would be nice somewhere. Other than that the hotel is great!!

The hotel needs vending machines, or an area to purchase snacks and drinks after the restaurant closes. I went looking for a water bottle and a snack at 1030 and could not find anything. This is an easy fix.

Beautiful location. Dinning service and bar limited. Pleasant but extremely slow service. Room 3122 A/C unit very noisy. Had to have fan running and tv on to not hear the knocking. It was too late when we returned to our room to request a room change.

They have three separate buildings. We stayed in building three across the street from the main building. There are no luggage carts. There was not an ice bucket. In fact there’s not an ice machine in the building. Do you have to call room service for it. The valet parking company is freaking terrible. You’re lucky if you can find an attendant. Our room was very clean. Although the shower has a rain head and a hand held, couldn’t get the showerhead to shut off totally both fixtures were very loose and poorly installed.

I wasn't thrilled. I'm not going to be dishonest I paid a lot I told them it was my boyfriend's 50th here they told me they would give us a tough choice surprise in the room but not a charcuterie and all we got were some Ritz crackers and a couple strawberries and some cheddar. But also they would not Park our truck. There was no warning about trucks not being welcome at ballet. I didn't really have any kind of upgrade overview I paid $700 for two nights the restaurants are never open and I paid $6 for coffee in the morning

The beds were not comfortable, no shampoo or body wash in the containers, paint was peeling over the shower and mold in the crevices. The internet, cable and elevators were down in the afternoon and evening then the fire alarms kept going off. Luckily it did not turn out to be anything bad but definitely did not put us at ease to get sleep that evening. Its definitely not worth the price we paid. The location was about the only positive.

The Battery Wharf Hotel has seen better days. I remember when it opened (maybe it was an Omni back then?). It seems independent now. We arrived at about 5pm on a Friday (Mem. Day weekend) and there was 1 person at the desk, but otherwise seemed empty and understaffed. The rooms are starting to age. Someone needs to get back in there and design bathroom doors that close. Enough of the sliding door bit. The style isn’t functional and the weight of the doors prohibit them from actually closing. There were also JBL speakers in the ceiling in the bathroom, but no obvious way to connect to them (unless it’s just a tv speaker, which I find useless). I also don’t know why hotel bathrooms don’t have fans anymore - especially for privacy. Having to run water so no one hears your business is a little tasteless in design. The next morning we also found little brown/red stains on our sheets. That was unacceptable! I believe the sheets were freshly clean, but the stain was certainly old. Lastly, the lighting was intense. The lights on either side of the bed were insanely bright and didn’t dim. There was little to no ambiance. Time for someone to get back to the design phase and redraw the rooms and its features. Maybe Marriott needs to step in and buy the place. Nothing really spectacular about this hotel for the location it offers and the price it charges.

We always have a great experience at Battery Wharf Hotel. The rooms are large and immaculately clean, the bathrooms are well lit and spacious, and the staff is wonderful. We enjoy having a cocktail in the bar after the day is over. The hotel is an easy (and safe) walk to TD Garden and Faneuil Hall. It's located a block away from the amazing restaurants on Hanover Street in the North End of the city. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Lovely hotel with an upscale but friendly atmosphere. There was some less than 5 star cleanliness in the shower with the show head being broken, the seals on the door allowing water all over the floor and paint peeling on the shower ceiling. A shame as otherwise it was an upscale property

Room was immaculately clean. Love that it’s on the wharf and easy walking to all kinds of dining, attractions and just strolling the neighbourhood! Very safe. It’s pricy but everything is in Boston. Fridge was hot and did not work. Went to front desk but it still wasn’t fixed two days later when we left. Rain shower leaked and fell in globs, not the way it’s supposed to so we couldn’t use it (reverting to the hand held spray). Those two things would not keep us from coming back and I don’t think it’s the norm there. They care about the facilities…just not that room on those days. The taxes, and there’s a lot of them with some paid on site, adds a lot to the total bill. Be ready to add a couple hundred for two nights. Coast guard on one side, Boston fire department marine unit on the other. Kind of a cool spot.

My stay at Battery Wharf Hotel in Boston was disappointing in several ways. To start, the shower head in our room was broken and continuously leaked water. Despite multiple requests to have it repaired, no one showed up to fix it. When we first arrived, we even found an apple in the trash can, suggesting that the room wasn’t fully cleaned. Refrigerators are supposedly available upon request, but unfortunately, there were none left when we asked. The fitness center was outdated and poorly maintained; it seems like no one has stepped foot in there since the hotel opened. None of the treadmills were functional, making it essentially unusable for any workout needs. Additionally, there was no coffee available on-site before 8 a.m., which was frustrating since there’s nowhere nearby to grab a quick cup. Providing a simple drip coffee setup in the lobby for guests would be a small touch that goes a long way in improving the experience. On a positive note, the rooms are spacious, and the location is truly beautiful and romantic. However, aside from the location, I would not recommend staying here due to the lack of attention to essential amenities and maintenance.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff was very friendly and would definitely stay here again. The only thing was was kind is disappointing was the water view room. Technically it was a water view but it was the side inlet facing another building, so the water view was limited. She said next time book directly with hotel and she would help. Also room phone not working and calling hotel with cell phone.. no one picks up. Main issue us that we were sold on a waterview room and we look out on buildings. Guest services agreed its not what we signed-up for. Not pleased with advertising stretching the truth. Also general disrepair - office chair seat was not screwed to frame and needed replacing; damaged coffee table, peeling ceiling in washroom, aweful LED colour temp light in main room. bedroom has tv at side of room - strange. definitely not a four star hotel.

Fabulous stay! Gorgeous view of the harbor. Rooms were spacious. Great location to walk to everything. The bathrobes and slippers were a nice touch as well as Nespresso machine and mini fridge.

The first room was terrible. It was directly over the constantly revolving door. They did move us. We’ve stayed here before but in a suite. This time there wasn’t one available. Last time I gave them 5 stars. I will stay here again but I will not stay if they don’t have a suite available.

Atrocious service at the reception desk. I’ve been staying at this hotel annually due to its spectacular location and great amenities, however, that will change. As I approached the front desk to check in, I was greeted with an attitude and overall rude demeanor. When I went to pay for the room I had my card snatched from my hand by the receptionist and speedily sent me on my way to the room. I had paid for a premiere King with a water view and the room I was given was on the first floor, sidewalk view, with minimal water exposure. I returned to the front desk to request a change of room preferably not on the first floor this time by a different receptionist. The receptionist now gave me a room on the 2nd floor directly above the original room with a minimal water view. I did not raise the point again and instead returned to my room. It was a very disappointing and frustrating way to start a trip that was supposed to be celebrating an anniversary. It is unlikely I will be returning to this hotel in the future.

We stayed at the Battery Wharf Hotel last week, then rented a car and drove around New England. When we checked in last night, they remembered us and where we had stayed before. Very impressive. This time we had a car. When we went to lunch, the valet helped us figure out what time to be back to make it to the airport on time. When we returned, he had our car waiting for us and helped load it up. That is real service! I would highly recommend the BWH.

Make sure to get your receipt at the end when you check out. I was charged extra for “local fees” and extra nights for parking. We stayed for a total of 3 nights and at the end we were charged for 5 nights. They also charged me 3*25 for local fees which I had already paid when I booked the room. When I told them about the extra fees the manager refunded me the money. With no apologies and with an attitude. If I didn’t get my receipt I would have been charged an extra $200 without even knowing. Very unprofessional staff. The rooms are also extra dark and I had to use my flashlight to get my stuff out of my suitcase. Which some people might prefer the dark room. But i personally did not like the dark lighting with no option to make it a bit lighter.

Great facility and location. Convenient walk to Quincy mkt and TD Garden. Quiet. Quiet. Quiet. Very good room with great views over the harbor. No self-park, but local public lots and valet on site with in and out privileges. My only counsel to the facility is it didn’t seem the coffee pods were authentic nespresso. Of course, if that’s the only criticism….

Beautiful, quiet hotel with fantastic views of the harbor. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy and it is in a great, safe area accessible to many activities including the ferry over to Cape Cod and Salem. A water taxi will bring you straight to the hotel from the airport for $20 a person. There is a doc right behind the hotel. You won't be sorry if you book the Battery Wharf Hotel!...You are also walking distance from restaurants.

We walked to the property from TD Garden after a bruins game. Not a bad walk. We were greeted by a valet and the front desk as we entered the property. Very friendly each time we entered and exited. The room was very clean and quiet. We also walked to dinner. Very nice location. The valet was also a great touch. Parking in Boston is not easy or cheap. Would definitely stay here again.

We were in Boston for one day to see the Celtics game. We were upgraded to a full suite and it was spacious and beautiful! This included a view of the harbor. The one thing we would’ve liked to be different was that we weren’t able to get room service after 10 PM.

Loved my room, great view f water: window even opened a little bit for a nice breeze in the room. I ordered the organic roasted chicken with carrots and mashed potatoes for dinner and it was absolutely delicious.

Perfect location in Boston's North End. On the water with beautiful of historic Boston Harbor, it even has outdoor dining options. The Grill is excellent, offering a varied menu fastidiously prepared. The location is also convenient to Logan International Airport; just five minutes away. This has been my go-to hotel in Boston for almost a decade.
