Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed the history tour. Staff was very helpful. Added bonus was the hydration station with hot and cold coffee selections. We felt very safe and easy to walk to most things

The hotel is located very centrally to the common and other areas of the city so easy walking distance from most of the prominent sites of the city. That said however, the room was very small, cramped, the bathroom barely enough for one person. The amenities in the room did not include any room slippers and basic toiletries which you had to request. Also water was not provided without asking at reception. There was a keurig coffee machine and they did come to do cleaning on each day. The cost of the hotel was very inflated by the local Boston taxes which included everything from conference fees, tourist fees, city taxes and others that I’ve never heard of - a total of $87 in taxes for each nights stay! Whilst the hotel is not responsible for this, the price is greatly exaggerated to meet these taxes. Boston is not for anyone in a budget! The hotels interior is pleasant but old and in some places a little neglected. The rooms were clean (however I hate carpeted rooms where other guests walk through with their shoes which they wear outside - hence the requirement for house slippers) but as mentioned very small and cramped.
