Stayed 4 nights

The area was convenient to downtown. Room was nice and clean. I had to check out a day early do to weather in my area. I contacted Hotels.com and the agent was super nice and called the hotel directly to see if they would credit me for one night due to me leaving early. The Hotels.com agent told me that the hotel refused. The front desk was not very helpful or friendly during our stay. Will stay elsewhere on next visit to NYC.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights while sightseeing NY. It’s conveniently located to walk to battery park (Liberty tour) and for hopping on subways to Times Sq/Empire St Bldg). Small but clean and functional room. Felt very safe as elevators require room keys to operate. Staff was extremely nice and helpful.

The front desk staff, housekeeping, and doorman were all very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Our only disappointment was the young man working the Concierge desk who was only somewhat helpful when we asked about nearby restaurants for dinner. He recommended we look them up online. Typically in 4 star hotels, the Concierge, when asked about restaurants, would provide information, maps, and offer to help in making reservations. Management has failed to properly train this young man for this position, and supply him with the tools to provide excellent Concierge services.

Room was clean. Doorman was hit or miss. Asked front desk twice for a new Kleenex box, but wasn’t delivered until housekeeping cleaned the next day.
