What guests think

At Comfort Inn & Suites Boise Airport, travelers frequently highlight clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location near the airport with an on-demand shuttle many found reliable, plus a generally good free breakfast with plenty of options.

Common drawbacks include a small indoor pool and hot tub that are repeatedly reported as cold or temporarily closed, and coffee quality in the breakfast area that several reviewers criticized. Service is generally pleasant but inconsistent, with reports of unhelpful front-desk interactions, mix-ups with keys or shuttles, and occasional room maintenance issues or odors. Overall, it suits short stays and early flights, with comfort prioritized over polished amenities.

Checkin was great. Clean, comfortable room and facility. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Very disappointed pool and hot tub were down. I booked here so my grandchildren could enjoy the pool. There should be updates on the website when they're not available.

I loved the location of this property. The breakfast was good and the workout room was great! The pool and hot tub were gross. I only went one time and was there for a week. The hot tub smelled like urine and had green water and around the hot tub.

Nice and convenient stay near the interstate and airport. Hotel was in good shape and clean. Only minor complaint was the hot tub was broken and pool a bit chilly (my 10 year old was fine with it but saw a family with little kids that didn't stay long).

The hotel advertises complete accessibility, but the lifts for both the pool and hot tub don’t work and the staff knew nothing about them or how to address the problem. we’ve found this same problem at other Comfort Inns. Otherwise, our room was very good and well equipped for ADA access.

Overall fine. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. However, there was nobody at the desk when we arrived, which delayed check in significantly, the pool is tiny, the hot tub was out of service, and the shampoo and body wash in the shower were empty.

Your typical CIS. Clean and quiet for a good nights sleep. Very busy place. They accept pets which is great. I even used the gym area. Clean and neat. Little area for the dogs to run.

Historically a go-to property for us, we won't be staying here in the future. The first room offered had a wet dog smell that drove us back out into the hall. The second was much better but there was a noticeable dog smell to the room, and the pillows had been slept on by a dog, or maybe the laundy soap can't get rid of dog smell from linens.

I just noticed my room has an existing repair that was patched but it needs additional work. It looks like it might still be leaking. If it was fixed esthetically and looked nice I wouldn’t have noticed this in the ceiling. It was fairly obvious that it was repaired but the ceiling needed spackling and paint and who know what else. I took pictures so the comfort Inn will know. I assume they shouldn’t rent it when the ceiling looked like this. The bathroom also has a patch of a repair by the shower head.

It's a basic airport hotel. Rooms are a bit small and dated. Breakfast was average at best. The best thing is the nice park right across the street: there is a playground and it's a nice place to go for a walk or play with the kids and pets before or after a long flight.

They say they have truck parking, but if you are in a semi you have to back some into the entrance and get turned around then back down the street and park on the street. The only problem that we had with the hotel was they their reception on the TV. We tried watching football and it kept messing up.

The property was fine. No complaints. I phoned ahead for my 11:45 pm arrival at the airport. I was told a shuttle came bu every 10-15 minutes. No shuttle 20 mins later. I called was assured me they would be there. No shuttle. I was told he was there and was not. I stayed in the designated spot for 1hr and 15 minutes and finally took a cab. I could not have been more unhappy, and have not heard from management as I requested. There are several other hotels in the same area. I recommend you use one of them

After we checked in at 3pm we went out to dinner. We arrived back and our keycard did not work. We received a new key and found that some other person had entered our room and left a mess despite our luggage being in the room and our toiletries out in the bathroom. The desk attendant said “some one at the desk must have entered our room # and made a new key for another guest by mistake. We felt totally violated and injured.

I would stay here again. The hotel is clean and the area was very safe and quiet. Being a female and traveling alone, feeling safe is important. There’s a little park across the street if you have little ones that want to run around. Restaurants and stores really aren’t within walking distance but there’s no problem getting an Uber or Lyft. They have an airport shuttle that was super convenient. It’s definitely a basic hotel but they have a decent breakfast and the staff was nice.

The rooms are very nice and clean. Parking is good. The property is well kept and you feel safe. The breakfast was cold and not kept up. They were out of juices at the machine. It just wasn’t a pleasant experience. Staff. It was very disappointing to come to such a nice, clean hotel to have UNFRIENDLY staff. On Sunday when checking out we asked if we could have a late check out by 35 minutes, SHE was very rude about it. When we asked for the shuttle to go over to the airport SHE grabbed the keys pointed to the van. She opened the back of the van as we put our luggage in then shut the door. We all got into the van. SHE did not say a single word to us. We got to the airport, SHE got out of the van, we got our luggage out, and she just walked away. NO communication, No smile, NO safe travels. It wasn’t a nice experience. It was uncomfortable. People like that set someone’s mood for the day. I would definitely refer the hotel because it is clean, quiet and it felt safe. I will be sure to give a warning that staff may not be so friendly.

Room was great. Clean and quiet. Breakfast was not the best, food was cold. There was no juice. We asked for a late check out and barely got a yes, that’s fine. Then my husband called down for the shuttle to the airport for a time of 12 PM. We showed up a little early, the girl looked at us pointed to the van. We walked out she opened the back of the van my husband put the luggage in the van shut the door and got in for The ride over to the airport. Not a single word from the driver, and when we got to the airport, she got out open the back of the van. My husband got our luggage and we went on our way. I just found it rather odd. There was no communication not even safe travels not very friendly staff, but I would recommend the hotel for its cleanliness and nice area.
