This is the second time we’ve stayed here in two years. The place has a great layout and amenities. The staff is wonderful. But the place is starting to show its age in terms of maintenance. The weights at the gym were broken two years ago - they are still broken. One out of three treadmills was broken. The faucet in our room dripped unless you were really careful about it. The safe didn’t work. The on site dining and bar was great. Live music on the weekend was great. Proximity to Gatlinburg can’t be beat. The shower is fantastic. Parking is safe and easy. The pool and slide is wonderful.

Amazing hotel and amenities. Don’t skip the spa!! Food and bar were great. If I had to find a complaint-the bed was no good but after a day in town I could have slept on a rock. Will absolutely stay here again.

Overall this was a really nice, clean, convenient place to stay. we were able to relax by the pool and access downtown easily. We were a little disappointed with the number of waitstaff management thought were enough to serve the pool and bar area.

We loved our stay at Margaritaville! Kids loved the swimming pool and the adults loved coming back from a long hike in the mountains to relax with drinks. Only thing we did not like was the service poolside. Very slow. Everything else was great!

Our experience was excellent with the exception of the bed. The mattress was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. It made for an extremely long night of tossing and turning. After our first night, we asked if the mattress could be switched out. The lady we talked to thought they would be able to make that happen. Unfortunately, after we arrived back to the hotel rather late after a long day of shopping and sightseeing, we discovered that the mattress had not been switched out as we had hoped. We were in for another uncomfortable night's sleep. We were offered breakfast vouchers when we checked out the following morning for the inconvenience. Breakfast was delicious! The front desk staff assured us they would make sure the mattress issue would be taken care of for future guests.

We felt like we started our “beach vacation in the mountains” the minute we drove up and were welcomed by a kind valet in a tropical shirt. The double queen room we had was huge and well laid out. I loved the small breakfast table for two (instead of the usual desk pushed against the wall), the huge shower with 3 shower heads, a separate bathtub, oversized bath towels, and two Adirondack chairs on the balcony. The restaurant food was great for our dinner as well as breakfast. Everything was immaculate! It’s close to lots of fun places and across the street from Anakeesta.

I brought to the attention the lady we checked out with that I found some cleanliness issues with our room. She seemed zero percent concerned about this and was not at all friendly. We enjoyed our stay but the check out experience was unpleasant. The printer was broken so the front desk person asked if an email receipt was acceptable which we said yes. I also asked for a balance and upon hearing the amount, questioned if the balance included any of the stay and I could not get a straight answer from him. He just kept repeating, you are all set with a sarcastic smile on his face. I still have not received and email receipt with a breakdown of charges. Staff needs to be trained better on how to interact with their guests.

. The gray-haired gentleman overseeing parking and outdoor security was exceptionally diligent and attentive. It was evident that he took great pride in his work and genuinely enjoyed his responsibilities. Additionally, the gentleman who assisted with our check-in, Monty (if I recall his name correctly), provided equally outstanding service—professional, courteous, and efficient. We typically do not stay in hotels, but this experience has certainly given us a new perspective.

The staff at check-in was very personable and professional. Also, when we were leaving and I was waiting for my husband to bring the car around, a staff member came by and asked if I needed ice for our Yeti. My husband had already taken care of that but it was so nice of the staff member to offer. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Gatlinburg Margaritaville resort and it's the only place I will stay in the future.

Our whole trip was amazing. The staff was so friendly. Rooms were very clean, easy access to shopping and restaurants They have a trolley that's free that will take you to Pigeon forge. The only thing I had a complaint about was when buying alcohol at the bar. The tax they charge you for alcohol is like 22% which is outrageous. Would definitely go back and I highly recommend.

Our experience was wonderful! The entire staff team was pleasant. The hotel is beautiful and our room was beautiful with brand new large bathrooms with great showers. We stayed for 6 days and enjoyed every minute. It was also very convenient to be within walking distance of everything. We also enjoyed the cafe for smoothies and coffee every morning.

We LOVE Margaritaville in Gatlinburg TN. We come down about 3 times a year and always stay here. Our favorite thing is hanging out at the lobby bar with Sam and Jesse. They bartenders are awesome. So so friendly and make the best drinks. Live music is good and great atmosphere. It’s not a too big. Everyone talks and laughs like old friends! If you go in the summer they have a great pool too. It located in the heart of Gatlinburg and within walking distance to everything. We also recommend walking to Pancake Pantry for breakfast. Food and service is amazing!

We loved our stay here. The resort is bright and inviting. Too many amenities to list. The pool area, and its indoor, outdoor and hot tub options, are amazing. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the bathrooms are spacious, and the showers are amazing. We even had a "fake" fireplace in our room. Beds were super comfortable. We also enjoyed our own private balcony while our little one was tucking into bed. The staff members are all so helpful and seem to enjoy their jobs. Our only "complaint" is that this hotel does not offer free breakfast like the Margaritaville hotel in nearby Pigeon Forge.

The hotel has definitely deteriorated. The cleanliness is lacking and it shows in the rooms, hallways and around the swim areas. Our room had not been vacuumed and the dust on the bathroom door and other areas was disgusting. The house cleaner was shocked when we told her we just checked in and the room was in that condition, she thought we had been there a couple of days, that’s how bad it was. For $300 a night this hotel needs to take more pride in their property and clean the rooms, hallways much better than they do. Also, cockroaches are all around the swim areas and hot tub and the night guard told us the landscaping attracts them, but why keep that type of landscaping? Cockroaches around your property should not be acceptable and the fact they can get k. Clothes and towels and spread to guests belongings.
