What guests think
Across recent reviews, Hotel Bonn is praised for comfortable, modern rooms and good value with an included breakfast, streaming-enabled TVs, air conditioning, and parking, though some guests report noise between rooms and a motel-style setup.
Service is mixed: many highlight friendly housekeeping and restaurant staff, while several describe indifferent or unhelpful front-desk interactions and occasional administrative issues. Breakfast feedback varies from tasty and convenient to limited, slow to be replenished, or served cold at times. Cleanliness draws frequent praise, but a few guests reported bedbugs and housekeeping lapses. Overall, expect a budget-friendly, convenient stay with modern basics and some inconsistencies.

Was in CDMX for a few a days and booked Hotel Bonn quite last minute. Was actually better than i expected, once in room quite clean and TV actually works (complete with Netflix, Amazon, etc). Fast internet. The buffet breakfast was actually surprisingly very good. The only comment i would say is that this is just slightly out of the way - it's about a 10 min walk from anything you'd want to go to. Saying that it's on a main road so Uber is very easy so this wasn't much of an issue.

The staff was great! I Stayed recently, and I liked it. The breakfast was decent. Room service cleaned my room everyday, and they had a happy hour, 2x1 cocktails from 5PM-7PM. The standard room doesnt have a mini fridge, which I think would've made the room better. Also, I think they need to update their sheets and maybe the lobby where you check in. Other than that, I thought it was good for the value, and I felt pretty safe in that neighbourhood.

Let’s start with the positive, the breakfast staff were pleasant and the bed was comfortable. The staff at the front desk indifferent. When we checked in we were given our room key with no information on where breakfast was and when, wifi, amenities. They never acknowledged us upon arrival or departure in the entire week we were there. The breakfast staff were pleasant but they quite often ran out of food. Breakfast started at 7 and went until 12. We often arrived at 8, but they were out of bread and fruit by then. The housekeeping were not quite up on refilling soaps and shampoos. We even left the lid off the soap dispenser in the shower, but they just put the cap on it without refilling it. The walls are paper thin. We were unlucky enough to have some very noisy neighbours and we were constantly woken up by them either coming in late at night, or talking on their phones. At the end of the day I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Rooms are modern and generally comfortable, though some are small or lack a mini fridge, and a few design quirks (tight bathrooms, awkward fixtures) are noted. Noise is a recurring issue from neighboring rooms or the avenue, and bed size expectations sometimes differ.

No tuve ningún problema.

For the price we paid for was very worth it. We needed something close to Pepsi Center and this hotel this it’s job. Room was very clean, Breakfast was very good too, with a variety to choose from. Morning shift were very kind and professional. Afternoon/ night shift not so much… one of the nights we wanted to try out it’s restaurant and bar, but once we entered we were greeted by the bartender who was dying her hair… we sat down but then we immediately left because the smell of the chemicals of her hair were really stinking up the place :( very unprofessional. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but just because of this incident I can’t.

The property is amazing for the price, however the front desk for me as english speaker was absolutely horrendous. They would not try to meet me half way at any time. I know a bit of spanish but when inasked them to speak slower they would not. I hate to say it but they acted as if they dont like americans. If you are fluent in spanish i recommend this place it is clean, modern, and affordable just do not expext any effort from the front desk. * The rest of the staff was helpful and courtious.

The breakfast was great each day and it's not too far from the World Trade Center or the airport maybe 20 minutes. In CDMX everything seems far. The front desk guys and lady serving drinks seemed as if they hated life. The rooms are small but cozy and it's quite quiet for the location. Plenty of restaurants around and Uber eats rappi deliver food as well. It's cheap hot water just wish they had better Internet.
The breakfast was great each day and it's not too far from the World Trade Center or the airport maybe 20 minutes. In CDMX everything seems far.

I have stayed here multiple times. AC is cold, room service is great and outlets and more outlets. I always book the queen size which includes breakfast. Get there early or they run out of food. Ubers are easy to catch.. the community is Escandón, and is about 10 miles in any direction to popular tourist spots. I walk around the area and grab quick snacks or sweet bread. I loved coming back and my room is always clean and the hotel is also always clean. The staff is very friendly. Never have I run out of hot water. If you like to save a few bucks stay here. It is clean, safe and comfy. The bed could be a bit softer.. but other than that I will stay there again in the future.
