The person who checked me in was so rude I could hardly believe it, yet I kept my cool and filed a complaint. They promised a follow-up by the next day or within two days, but I am still waiting for that call. Hot water failed for two days; after I called, they said they were working on it. I had to ask how long it would take, since I had an 11:30 a.m. meeting and it was around 10 a.m. I believe she suggested waiting ten minutes. When I called back thirty minutes later, the staff member repeated that they were working on it and did not know the duration. I mentioned the earlier ten-minute estimate, and she offered to connect me with the manager. I agreed; the manager said the same thing, so I repeated my earlier response. She asked me to hold, returned, and said to wait ten minutes, then ten to fifteen minutes later I heard a knock. Maintenance arrived and fixed it in about five to ten minutes, so I had hot water starting on the third day.

The free airport shuttle was very convenient. The breakfast option was very good as was dinner in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast waitress was extremely friendly and helpful and all of the staff were nice.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The cleanliness of the common areas was poor, and there was a persistent strange, humid/musty smell in the room that made the stay uncomfortable. What made the experience even worse was the staff. I found several members of the staff to be extremely rude and unhelpful. The biggest issue was with breakfast. I had prepaid for breakfast as part of my reservation, and I had written approval from the manager confirming that it was included. However, when I went to get breakfast, the staff refused to honor it. Since it was the weekend, the manager was not on-site. Instead of respecting the manager’s written authorization or trying to resolve the situation, the staff simply ignored both the manager’s instructions and my concerns. I was essentially left with no way to resolve the issue. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, the unpleasant humidity/musty smell in the room, and especially the rude and unprofessional treatment from the staff made this a very frustrating stay. I would not recommend this hotel, and I would expect much better customer service and accountability from a hotel that takes reservations and prepayments.
