What guests think

At Days Inn by Wyndham Miami Airport North, travelers highlight convenient access to the airport and cruise port, but frequently report dated facilities and uneven cleanliness alongside maintenance problems in rooms.

Proximity to fast food and a gas station, plus ample parking and a simple pool, suits quick overnights. Many mention thin walls and exterior corridors that feel loud or rough, with traffic and aircraft noise noticeable. Shuttle value is noted, but waits, limited hours, and full buses are recurring frustrations. Overall, it works for budget-minded stopovers more than comfortable stays.

Bathroom needs updating, AC needs service. Need more luggage trolleys. Shuttle service to/from airport needs to be open longer, security on property. 7 minutes to/from airport which was great.

The common area ice machine was not functioning. Since no fridge, I wish it could be working. The doors to the bathroom and the room entrance were very difficult to close and open. The location was very convenient.

It’s cheap and close to the airport. Don’t bank on the free shuttle service they offer. The front desk told us the shuttle to the airport runs every hour which is a long time to begin with and when we tried to get on the 11am shuttle we were told they were full and that we had to wait for the 12pm. We ended up having to Uber so we could arrive at the airport on time. The room had small beetles under the mattress and a roach was found in the bathroom.

The building is pretty dated, there is no elevator and some rooms are motel style (drive up, door to the outside). The shuttle service took 45 minutes to arrive -- the shuttle was used for multiple hotels and often full.

The airport shuttle was good and we enjoyed the pool and the close walking distance to the gas station convenience store and Mc Donald's. The room was ok, the beds were comfortable and we had a good night's sleep for our overnight stay, however there was no hot water in the shower on the evening we checked in and again the following morning and the phone was not working so I could not call the front desk. There was no ice in the ice machine or water in either of the two vending machines. Overall there is definitely room for improvement.

Property does not look like any of the photos. A bit outdated.Be aware of the room you select. The front desk said the rooms booked through a third party don’t have all the amenities, like no fridge. Shuttle service from the airport and to Port Miami is so convenient. Room was clean.

Rooms were in good condition however the AC did not cool the room very much...#426 Your Courtesy airport pick up needs to be more organized. I called for a pick up at the airport...#8. I was told it was close....well 25min later and it still had not arrived. So i called the hotel again. They said it would be there in 20 minutes . I was about to go use the bathroom...and then the van pulls up. There should be up to date communication between the ftont desk and the driver...you had 8 very unhappy people. Then your staff was nice to allow a 12pm checkout...i wanted to sleep in. Well 8am ...all I heard was cleaning staff loudly talking all morning outside my door ...and the room next door. I know they have to get the rooms turned over for the next reservation but lower voices would be nice. Your front desk staff were all very nice and professional.

The room was clean so that was a plus. The picture on the TV was blurry. Just a bad cable/satellite system probably. Nothing they could probably fix....The shuttle from the Airport took MORE than an hour. Once they answered the phone they said it comes around every 30-40 min. The second time I called they said it was their shift change. When we finally got picked up it turns out they service THREE hotels (in the same hotel chain family). When I got to the hotel the story had changed to "the president was in town and going by the hotel so streets were closed down." Funny that I saw dozens of other hotel shuttles go by multiple times as I waited. I took an Uber to the cruise terminal because the times they went there were not conducive to when I needed to be there.

I would give this a 2.5 if possible. Room was clean but in need of renovation. Shower was hot and good pressure. The room was so loud, on a big road and people race on it. The shuttle from the airport was quick and easy, but it doesnt start early enough in the morning for guests who are staying overnight for early flights. And i imagine thst is most of the guests. I wouldnt stay here for extended time.

The hotel is very noisy. Paper thin walls. We could hear everthing from people snoring to intimate sounds. The noise from traffic is so loud, both cars and airplanes, at one point we checked to make sure a window was not open. We did not sleep a wink and we left very early in the morning. There was no point on staying when we could not sleep. Not sure if pets are allowed in the rooms, but I had a terrible allergic reation while in the room.

Descent place to stay when going from a flight to a cruise. Hotel offers free shuttle from airport (limited pickup areas. I believe doors 5 and 8. Check with hotel). You can reserve a free shuttle ride to the cruise terminals at the hotel front desk. Please tip your drivers they saved you lots of money! There is a McDonald’s a five minute walk and a Circle K next door to the hotel. I will definitely stay here again.
