The room could have been much cleaner, there was hair in the corners of the floors, in the shower, and even an old skittle in the bathroom corner. On the day we were leaving there was a huge cockroach in our room. There was a mishap with air conditioning in the room we had booked and we got put in a basement room with only one bed, when we had booked a two queen bed room. The receptionists said it would only be for a night and we ended up in the same room for our entire stay. There was no breakfast as was promised and the wi-fi did not work great. We understood they wanted us to be comfortable in a room with ac, and i was thankful we still got a room but this was not what we had booked. We heard many people getting turned away for this exact reason. No compensation was offered, and we will not stay at the Brooklyn Hotel again.

The hotel was ok. The location was the best part. When we arrived we were told the ac wasn’t working and offered a discount :) . Fortunately the nights were cooler and we could open the windows, we borrowed a fan from nearby relative. unfortunately we were next to the train so very noisy! Shower knob was broken, very little privacy in the the bathroom area glass door was broken
