This hotel looks a lot better on the website than in reality. Our room was fine, there wasn’t any minibar, kettle as advertised, the curtains didn’t block any light so we had the light from the car park through the night and then early daylight. The best way to describe the bathroom is gritty! The shower flooded the bathroom and although we informed the staff (through google translate) they didn’t have a solution. There was an extremely dour woman on duty for breakfast who refused to give us some non Turkish coffee the first morning but gave us some Nescafé the second morning. The WiFi worked fine except for the last day when it didn’t work at all. Nobody in the hotel speaks English. Disappointing stay.

The hotel is in the old town part of Bergama. Lots of character! Our room was very small. The bed was against a wall so one person would have to crawl over the other to get in or out. Aside from that, it’s fine. My suggestion is to spend the extra $10 or whatever and get a larger room. The breakfast is a typical Turkish. The bread was really good!

The property itself was okay, but it is the only maintained property on the very narrow road. But the locals driving very load motor bikes up and down the street till late at night was an issue.
