What guests think

At Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Boise West, travelers consistently praise very clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, a convenient location near shopping and dining, and a satisfying complimentary breakfast that many find varied and well maintained.

The gym earns frequent compliments, and the indoor pool is clean, but multiple guests were disappointed there is no hot tub. Several reviews note that rooms are not serviced daily unless requested, and a few reported noise from neighboring rooms or hallways. While most service interactions are welcoming and helpful, there are occasional reports of unfriendly or inconsistent front-desk experiences and mixed opinions about pillow and bed comfort. Overall, expect a modern stay with strong basics and a few tradeoffs.

The rooms were neat, nice and clean. All the furniture/amenities were new and upgraded. The TV channel options were large and great. The breakfast has lots of options and variety was surprised there was no potatoes or good veggie option. The gym facilities were great. The indoor heated pool was nice was surprised there was no hot tub.

When we walked in we were very pleased. However, our room did not get cleaned(bed made, towels & coffee replenished. We were gone all day and they had the opportunity to clean up our room because i saw the cleaning cart in hallway 1 door down. Then the hotel has the audacity to have a QR code for tips on the desk in room. I understand surveys and i hope my expressed concern is heard and corrected. I did have an interaction with employees at the breakfast and they were very pleasant

Our room was beautiful, clean….my wife had surgery and I was staying a second night while she was staying the night. They did not clean the room for second day. They did not clean it up. Clean Towels nor bed made. I talked to staff and they said because of Covid they don’t automatically clean rooms after first night. They explained why and brought clean towels. Because the hospital required clean cloths and shower, he was tired, stressed so he talked to them and they were very polite. We will stay for her next surgery and will ask for it to be cleaned, with fresh towels and sheets.

Advertised as having a hot tub and pool, but only had pool, this is big deal to our family. Front desk staff seemed annoyed that booked through third party. Had incidental charge that was not us, and got corrected, but their explanation seemed questionable. And front desk gave wrong breakfast hours. Lobby bathrooms were pretty messy. Location was fine, but just not up to Marrriot standard we have been used to.

This place is perfect if you need a place to stay if you’re from out of town and have surgery or a doctor appointment at St. Alphonsus. It’s also right next door to the biggest mall in the area. It’s easy to get to off of I-84, close to many various restaurants, and not far from downtown Boise, although I would have to drive there. It’s clean, our room was spacious, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was the usual fare but always appreciated. We will definitely stay there again, probably when I have my eight week follow-up.

We have stayed in multiple rentals in the Boise area recently, and this is one of the best. The staff was friendly and professional, room was attractive, clean and comfortable, area was quiet and breakfast was excellent! The food offered included healthy option, which is unusual for free breakfast (fresh spinach for eggs, beautiful fresh fruit, multiple nut toppings for oats). We have made this our #1 choice for a Boise weekend stay.
