I really did not like the fact that we needed to pay a 50$ parking fee that is unannounced.

The facility is fair for the $ and the staff are very nice. Customer service is excellent. However, prepare to part with $25 for parking, which really ticked me off, since the description did not state that. When I queried this, the staff explained that the description stated that parking was available, it didn’t say “free”. So watch out the language used. Further, if your room is on the first floor, be prepared to hear noises from people walking upstairs. Breakfast was ok. Location is at the middle of town not far from most attractions.

The staff was NOT very friendly or helpful. Reluctant to help, and every time we asked for something, they made it seem like a big problem, even though that's their job. Check-in was fine; there was a $25 parking fee/night. Breakfast was kind of a joke, just bagels, cereal, fruit, stuff that doesnt need a kitchen. Overall, our room was fine, there were no pots and pans or dishes, despite having a small kitchen with hot plate... not sure how they expected us to use it. There was a wine glass in our cupboard, but there was still lipstick on it; not sure if someone had just left it up there, as there was only one and no other dishes whatsoever, so its possible that housekeeping doesnt even check there? Water pressure was horrendous; I would have rather showered at the gym, it was like standing in the rain... like a tiny stream. AND it didnt drain well, it all just felt a little dirty, but for the price it was worth it.

This is an older hotel in a residential area. The rooms are old, but were clean. The beds were amazing. They had a fantastic free breakfast. The negative is they charge $25 for on site parking right at your room door.....we didn't think this was cool! But overall an ok place.

It's buried in Boston near some neighborhoods and very crowded streets. There is parking available for a small fee. The walls are thin enough that I could easily hear conversations from outside and I'm sure people could hear me if they were listening. I chose it because it was lower priced by 1/2 the weekend I was looking for a room.

I don’t know why we need to pay for parking when we already paid for the hotel room night

I was charged 25 dollars for parking in the hotel parking lot ...wich felt like a trap considering i dont remember any notification about parking charges nor were there very many options for parking around the hotel because of congestion in that area...very disappointing...especially cause i wasnt aware and able to budget for that cost.

The rooms are clean, its great for a quick visit to our daughter. T stop is right outside. Price is right. Its a little bit of an older hotel but i would stay again.

We went to get into bed and found a huge stain on the sheets. Was moved to another room only to find it also unclean.

There was very little water pressure and not any at all most of the time. The toilet did not flush. There were roaches in the room and I had to get my clothes washed because I found a roach in my bags. I would NOT recommend this motel to anyone. I would love to be reimbursed for this lack of relaxing experience.

Average at best place. Room was dirty and bed had stains. Only saving grace was the location.

Staff was friendly. Room could have been cleaner…floor in bedroom was sticky & there was a stain that looked like rust on the bathroom floor.

We checked in and went to our room. The door didnt shut and had a chain for a lock, huge gaps around the door. The toilet didn't flush, lights didn't work, no plug- in for phone, TV didn't work, the heater made an awful noise that sounded like it was going to explode. I went and complained to front desk and they moved us the next morning. This room was not much better, the toilet did work, however no plug-ins, still the issue. We never got any house keeping the entire week we stayed. I trusted the reviews on hotel.com saying it was a 4.7 that was a lie. Its more like a 1.7. Came back to the hotel one night and had bugs crawling on the floor and 1 on my bed due to the gaps in the front door. But not much I could do, I had already paid for the room through hotel.com. If I hadn't I would have left the 1st night. Worst hotel ever. The staff was friendly enough. But not enough to make up for the hotel.

Clean room. Free full breakfast & cookies/coffee all day. 24/7 helpful friendly front desk staff.

The area was great, safe and quiet. The staff were very sweet and helpful. But the hotel itself was not good quality at all. They did not come and clean or bring new towels and we stayed for 3 nights.. in the first room there were no plugs, toilet wasn’t flushing. They moved us to new room, but still low quality. I would never be staying here again, although staff was great.

The hotel did not meet the description on the booking site. The room felt dirty, the furniture was old and looked like it was from a thrift shop. Our coffee maker did not work. We reported it to the front desk and no one came to even look at it. Our remote did not work and when we asked for batteries, we were told”oh it’s not going to work. You can control the tv by using buttons on the tv. We were told they have reported the issues but the managers do nothing to fix the issues” Breakfast was not good. It smelt like wet dog in the dinning room. The tv was playing loud music… very annoying with all the talking from other guest. Waffle batter dispenser was broken also. Our room also had a Oder to it. While walking to our room we saw 2 very large rats! The bath tub had a gritty dirty feeling. Over all it was gross and the area it’s located in is not the best. We were very disappointed. Especially since other reviews stated it was nice and clean. Honestly all that comes to mind is the hotels in moves where prostitution happens. Also, we stayed 2 nights and we were charged for 3 days of parking. On the 3rd day you have to leave before noon. I didn’t understand that. Also, with one of the employees letting us know that the issues are on going and the owners don’t bother to fix them.

The hotel is conveniently located off of Mass Ave in Brighton. The neighborhood seems quiet. My room was very clean. The decor and furnishings are a bit dated, but I wasn't looking for a 5-star property. My only real complaint is that the walls must be very thin because I could hear everything going on in the rooms around me. I had hoped to sleep in, but that wasn't possible.

Very convenient with great parking, important in Boston. Quiet location. It could use a deep cleaning of vents and corners. Noisy AC.

For the money we paid should have had a toilet paper holder and we we should’ve been able to get a good nights sleep… above us was to loud till like 3:am

Run down, needs replumbing (hot water take 5 minutes to come through) and needs new electrics. No extractor fan in the bathroom. Extraordinarily mean - 1 small bar of soap between 2 people for 3 nights. Room was very dark with inadequate lighting. Furniture in bathroom was childlike and I had to bend double to wash my hands. Very mean and overpriced. Problem with wifi if you happen to have a phone more than a few years old, could connect to 6 wi-fs in Boston but not to this hotel. They were not interested in the problem nor the solution!

We stayed here because it was walking distance to the friends we were visiting. We had a room with a kitchen, but other than a few dishes, two bowls and 3 coffee mugs, there was only one set of silverware and one small pan. It took two trips to the front desk to receive a pot to cook soup, some extra plastic utensils, and detergent and brush to clean dishes. The floor was dusty and uneven - the drawers in the bedroom dresser kept sliding open (when empty) due to the angle of the floor - we leaned suitcases against them to keep them shut. The property feels safe, parking was easy and staff were friendly at all times. The bed was clean and very comfortable, A/C worked, wifi was strong, shower was hot. Whole Foods and CVS are right around the corner.

The room was outdated the bathroom vanity was very low. Rusty lamps, no working WiFi :( the tv was difficult to operate. AC made a racket. My overall review in a word would be dingy. The breakfast looked nice although I didn’t have any. The staff were all very pleasant.

The air conditioner is too loud.

I booked a last minute room for a last minute trip and I was mostly comfortable in the room. it was clean.

The room was spacious, but the heater unit in the room made lot of noise which made it difficult to sleep. The neighbors were quite noisy and stayed up late at night partying in the rooms. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is convenient to the T which makes getting downtown and to Fenway easy. It’s an older hotel and could use some updating.

Helen at check is was amazing! Upgraded our room at no charge! She was extremely helpful answering questions about dining within walking distance. The room was spacious,clean and the bed was so comfortable!

The breakfast and staff were fantastic. A special shoutout to Keith for being so helpful and kind throughout our stay. He also had a great pizza recommendation 😍 I would definitely stay here again. Getting on the B was so easy in order to get to downtown Boston.

Exceptional Service at Reception by Keith Kitson, the Guest Relations Manager. We arrived at the hotel at 10 PM only to realize our reservation had been made for the wrong date. What could have been a stressful fiasco quickly turned into a positive experience thanks to his exceptional service. He personally assisted us in contacting Expedia and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and assured. His professionalism and kindness truly made the difference. Seeing how tired we were from our travels he even helped us with our luggage to our room. Truly exceptional. I will definitely be returning.

Boston Hotel and especially their staff were fantastic! Very friendly, helpful and the room was exactly what my daughter and I needed to move her into BU. Clean, comfortable and the location was great.

The man who worked the front desk laughed at me when I said I was there to check in (I previously messaged the hotel to ask if it were possible to check in early and they said, “sure”). He then proceeded to explain to me how hotels work. I kindly said I understood and that I was only asking because I was told it might be possible. He responded by screaming at me, “Asked and answered!” Later, I returned to check in. The same man said I had to pay for parking. I asked about ADA parking and he said he didn’t know what that was. I took my belongings to the room after checking in and left immediately. When I returned later that night, I found an old lamp on the desk covered in spiders. The spiders were on my belongings and forming spiderwebs. I called the front desk and explained the situation and they said they didn’t have any more rooms for me to move to. When I asked if they could at least come and clean, there was a long pause. I eventually decided to walk down to the front office where a second man seemed reluctant to help. He said the spiders got in because I probably left a window open. He began to yell at me and tell my Expedia representative on the phone that I was refusing to let him in the room. He eventually told me to leave and I ended up getting refunded. The problem with this was it was almost midnight and I couldn’t get another hotel room. Horrible experience overall.

The customer service there was amazing. They went above and beyond to accommodate us… walked us to our room in the rain…were very understanding when our flight got cancelled. Would definitely recommend

Zero stars if it was an option. Terrible service. Extremely rude and unprofessional front desk clerk. Go somewhere else.

Nice place to stay, convenient, clean and close to the Green Line for transportation. Staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was good. Will be staying here again.

The staff here were disorganized, they didn't communicate with one another, and they were either scared of their managers or completely incompetent in the face of dealing with the consequences of their mistakes. Instead of trying to resolve a straightforward issue, the Guest Relations Manager instead resorted to gaslighting and victim-blaming, dragging me into a shouting match in front of his staff and other guests. The housekeeping staff shredded to tatters my dress they didn't need to touch. The hotel management refused to take responsibility for the things they did, and instead exist as a bulwark in defense of their own egos. This hotel will ruin your vacation in Boston. Do not book here.

I think for the price this hotel delivers. We actually like the outdoor sitting to have our morning coffee. It's an older hotel but it does the job if you're visiting. About 20 minutes by train to tourist attraction and the station is basically right outside the hotel.

Property is a bit dated but they appear to be working on some upgrades. Rooms were clean and not noisy. Breakfast was great and it was easy to get to transit. Is a good half hour to hour by transit to get to major attractions though.

Just a block or 2 from a T stop that takes you to downtown. Quiet, clean and we could park there while we checked out Boston!

This is a great place to stay as it’s close to downtown without getting caught up in traffic. The room was as described and the staff were great. It was a short walk to public transportation as well.

I stayed at The Boston Hotel for a work trip and it was perfect. The location is very convenient, close to meetings and transit, and the neighborhood feels safe even walking late at night. Rooms were comfortable, Wi-Fi reliable, and the staff professional and helpful. A great choice for business travelers who value both convenience and peace of mind.

Friendly staff and good location but property needs modernizing. Toilet broke, room smelled weird, you can hear lots of noise from the surrounding rooms, and breakfast was very limited. Would not try to save the few dollars next time.

I had to check in late because my flight was scheduled like that and there was no issues with the checkin. Room was clean and spacious. All the listed amenities were present. Breakfast was good with good variety of things available. I enjoyed my stay at The Boston Hotel.

Food options are amazing! Highly recommend taking advantage of the included breakfast. Lots of great options like waffles, pancakes, eggs, & breakfast sandwiches. Juice and coffee were fresh and delicious. Friendly lobby staff and warm welcomes. Safe area with a Whole Foods & CVS nearby, safe & walkable. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 3 days, easy to get into Boston centre as the metro was only a couple of minutes walk away. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bonus, make your own pancakes and waffles.

Very convenient location! Safe neighborhood, clean rooms, nice amenities like a microwave, fridge and a Keurig coffee machine in the room. Decent breakfast buffet. Would stay again!
