On arrival, we were given an informative briefing of how to visit the various sights. We stayed 3 nights, and were really glad we did. It allowed us to see things over 2 days, and also to relax by the pool. This hotel and Selcuk were the best days we spent in Turkey. It is certainly the best value place for eating out. The included breakfast on the top floor was a great start to each day.

We had an amazing 2 night stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and super informative. The hotel was very clean and well laid out with an great courtyard and pool. Muy bien situado en pleno centro de la ciudad y, pese a ello, muy tranquilo. La zona de jardín y piscina son ciertamente encantadores y resultan un remanso de frescor y paz tras visitar Éfeso. Los desayunos se sirven en la terraza con vistas al castillo. El personal del hotel fue muy atento y nos facilito muchísimo toda la estancia. Las habitaciones son algo espartanas, pero el baño esta muy bien.
Muy bien situado en pleno centro de la ciudad y, pese a ello, muy tranquilo. La zona de jardín y piscina son ciertamente encantadores y resultan un remanso de frescor y paz tras visitar Éfeso. Los desayunos se sirven en la terraza con vistas al castillo. El personal del hotel fue muy atento y nos facilito muchísimo toda la estancia. Las habitaciones son algo espartanas, pero el baño esta muy bien.

Great family run place in the centre of Selcuk. Very friendly hosts with all information about the area. Large very clean room with comfortable beds and a big shower. Cleaned every day as needed. Breakfast on the foof was plentiful. Pool was so beautiful in the garden, I wish we could have stayed longer!

Chambre très propre, rien à redire. le personnel est extrêmement gentil, bienveillant, à l'écoute... Et Selma parle super bien français ! De par son métier de guide, elle nous a été de très bon conseil tant sur les visites à faire que sur les bonnes adresses où se restaurer. Un établissement que je recommanderai fortement sans hésiter.

Hosts are wonderful and very knowledgeable. Our room was very small and lacking any amenities. Breakfast was less than average relative to the 8 other Turkish hotels we have stayed at. Location is central to all the attractions and restaurants/stores, but the hotel is down a backstreet in an old neighborhood. We had to haul our luggage up and down a very narrow staircase.

As others have noted, Nazar Hotel is outstanding! We were able to upgrade our room from a Standard to Deluxe and it made all the difference. This room was much larger, it had comfortable seating and a very pleasant view over the pool. Ilker was a superb host who made us feel very welcome and gave us useful tips and excellent breakfasts. Highly recommended.

First of all, the reason this property is so highly rated is the staff, starting with the owner Ilkare (I may be misspelling his name!). His English is perfect--like, basically native speaker level--and he's a former tour guide who knows seemingly everything to know about the area. He made amazing recommendations from tiny cool sights to see (one massive ruins, we were the only explorers in the entire site), to great spots to eat or drink. The rest of the staff (and family!) are delightful and kind, with just enough English for what you need, and as welcoming and hospitable as can be. You really feel almost like you're visiting a relative. The property is beautiful, particularly the pool and many rescued animals. A few nice touches, like a spare key so the fridge keeps running. There are a few minor gripes, mostly the lack of blackout curtains, but that seems to be standard everywhere in Turkiye we've stayed (no sleeping in for you!). Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, but light on protein (a single hard boiled egg). The area is just Selçuk, it's a very small place and everything is walking distance. I would stay here again, and suggest you do the same.

We really enjoyed our three night stay at the Nazar Hotel. The owner was very accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. Great information on how to get to and from the sites as well as the best times to go. The traditional Turkish breakfast was lovey and again very accommodating with time so we could beat the crowds to the sites. Very walkable to many shops, a great Hamam, and multiple restaurants. I would definitely recommend and I would certainly stay here again myself.

Nous avons passé trois nuits au sein de l hôtel nazar et qu'elle fabuleux hôtel. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par un couple franco-turc et deux dames très sympathique. Nous avons eu des conseils sur ce que nous pouvions faire a proximité de l hôtel par les gestionnaires de l hôtel (qui sont aussi guide touristique). Nous avons eu des petits déjeuners avec des produits locaux. L hôtel est très bien situé à proximité d Ephèse (5 min en voiture), le musée d Ephèse, la basilique Saint jean, le château, et le centre ville(qui peut se faire à pied). Vous pouvez foncer les yeux fermés vous n allez pas être déçu.

Het hotel is op wandelafstand van het station gelegen. Mooi,kleinschalig ,heel proper en gezellig. Er is een mooie binnentuin met zwembad. Ideaal om een frisse duik te nemen na een dag op excursie. Op wandelafstand gelegen van het klei e gezellige centrum met winkeltjes,restaurantjes etc. De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn supervriendelijk en je voelt je er echt welkom. Wij verbleven er 1 nacht om van hieruit Efese te bezoeken. Van hier zijn we dan ook nr Kusadassi gegaan om onze vakantie verder te zetten.

The room was great, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were very knowledgeable, providing a lot of background and useful information. On arrival, we were given an informative briefing of how to visit the various sights. We stayed 3 nights, and were really glad we did. It allowed us to see things over 2 days, and also to relax by the pool. This hotel and Selcuk were the best days we spent in Turkey. It is certainly the best value place for eating out. The included breakfast on the top floor was a great start to each day.

We had the best stay at Nazar Hotel. Super friendly and helpful hosts. The rooftop view of the Castle cannot be beaten. The garden and pool is a great place to relax in the company of the two tortoises, and Lokum is just the cutest. We hope to be back someday!

Hosts are wonderful and very knowledgeable. Our room was very small and lacking any amenities. Breakfast was less than average relative to the 8 other Turkish hotels we have stayed at. Location is central to all the attractions and restaurants/stores, but the hotel is down a backstreet in an old neighborhood. We had to haul our luggage up and down a very narrow staircase.

The room was great, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were very knowledgeable, providing a lot of background and useful information. Additionally, the area was very walkable with good options for dining around us. We really enjoyed our stay here!

A worn out hotel with the nicest host that gave invaluable advice on out visit to Ephesus and Afrodisias. The hotel is not like shown on the photoes on hotels.com. Something the host was quick to point out. We had a family room, it was modest but ok for 4. The main issue is there is no fridge in this room and the hotel doesn’t sell og serve anything to drink. When I asked for water I was advised to visit the shops in the neighborhood. The shower was working but not pleasant and hardly hanging on the wall. Garden and pool was charming.

A lovely, spotlessly clean, well located hotel. The pool outside is beautiful after a day of touring and walking around town, set in an attractive and spacious garden. The host is lovely and so helpful, easy 2 more nute walk into the centre of a historic town. Very friendly, easy and comfortable. 10/10 from me.

The owner was the most helpful and kind of hosts. From the excellent breakfast to organising a day tour for me, he did everything to make my stay special. Very highly recommended!

We had an amazing 2 night stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and super informative. The hotel was very clean and well laid out with an great courtyard and pool. Breakfast was roof top and located 5 min walk from attractions and bus and train station. Great market and restaurants. Highly recommended staying there.
