The authentic Mexican breakfast was such a nice touch! Being that we stayed with family in a smaller city for most of our trip, this was not the only traditional Mexican breakfast we had, but the hat comes off for it because it ranked among the best! Everything else was great, as it always is with HI Express. Why we always look for y'all first ;)

This was my sixth time staying at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was the first time I had a disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were not as friendly or welcoming as they had been during my previous visits. Unfortunately, they also seemed more focused on their phones than on assisting guests, which made it difficult to get their attention and left me feeling overlooked. In addition, there were drainage issues in my room. The shower drained very slowly, and although someone came to fix it, the same problem later occurred with the bathroom sink. I would like to recognize and highly recommend Jonathan Alvarez, our regular taxi driver. He was the only person during my stay who truly went out of his way to help me. Jonathan is always friendly, professional, dependable, and knowledgeable. He consistently recommends excellent places to eat and visit, making every trip enjoyable. His outstanding service, kindness, and willingness to help made a real difference and were the highlight of an otherwise disappointing stay.
