upon arrival saw a message saying the pool was not working or out of service. This was the whole reason for staying here they need to have updates on there web site. the shower was lukewarm did not get hot at all. there was no bodywash in the shower the dispenser was empty.

The pool always seems to be broke down. We stayed there 2 years ago and the same notice of a broken pipe and the pool is closed sign was hanging. They should have a disclaimer that the pool is closed; might not seem big to everyone but to a 5 year old it does.

The staff was very friendly and the beds were comfortable. The pool was closed (under repair) and that was a big reason for my choice. The staff did say I could use the hotel’s pool next door but I would have had to get dressed over my wet bathing suit when done, and it was cold out so it really wasn’t a good option. I didn’t like the fact the tubs were slippery and had no anti-slip mat or sticker on the bottom. It was definitely unsafe. The hair dryer’s heat feature was broken so it felt like I was drying my hair with a Canadian winter wind. Breakfast was average compared to other hotels.

Initially checked into our room and the room wasn’t cleaned. Had to wait several hours for it to be cleaned so we could actually get into it. The slide at the pool was broken and the hot tub didn’t work (and apparently hasn’t for over a year).

It was an easy to find hotel. Our bathroom was outdated and looked like it needed a good deep clean..like all the grout was making it look dingy and the shower corners looked as if that doesn't get done well every clean. Other than that, the test of the room was good. Breakfast was good and was in walking distance to some cool stuff like the capital, steamboat park and nightlife. Just be forewarned that if you stay on a Monday night almost all restaurants are closed. The hotel attached was open but so busy my chicken Parmesan was just cooked a tad more than raw.

We were assigned to a room already occupied by 3 individuals, front desk staff were inadequate, bathroom had plaster work around tub and the area around the tub needed to be cleaned, shower head was hard to turn on and water that was not very clean baked up in the tub while ,showering. The breakfast served was good and area clean

Stayed for three nights. Housekeeping never once came to change trash or replenish towels. The fridge in the room wasn't clean and had a horrible smell. I had to go get cleaner from the front desk and clean it myself. The fridge had a tray that was full of stinky moldy water.

I chose the deluxe 2-queen walk through room at this "riverfront" hotel because in the photo there appeared to be patio furniture outside the other door suggesting a sitting area. In other photos of the hotel there are chairs and fire tables outside so I opted for this property vs a room elsewhere with a king bed believing we would be able to relax outdoors presumably with view of the river. Unfortunately our second door led straight to the parking lot. The only view we had of the river was across the street, past the school, down a couple of blocks. The bed was comfortable and the staff was pleasant but don't make assumptions about what's outside your walkout. 😉

Check-in went very well. Front desk attendant was friendly and courteous. He recommended the attached restaurant if we were hungry, and even though the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes, we were served a great meal! The beds were just ok, nothing special for comfort and we could hear people running around upstairs all night. It sounds like there was a dance party going on at times. Breakfast was good and fairly well stocked despite the fact that we didn't get down there until 9:45am. While chatting with the person in charge of the breakfast area, I learned that there was a water pipe break and water was to be turned off in the entire hotel at some point. We were never formally told about it, we just discovered that it was true when my son went to wash his hands in it run after breakfast. We decided to utilize the aquatic center so we cal ok ed to request a later check-out. To my surprise, I was told that I would be charged $15 for 1 extra hour, or $20 for 2. I've honestly never had to pay for a late check-out and was a little confused. I opted for one extra hour and headed to the pool. After a couple of minutes, we were told that because of the pipe breaking, the pool needed to be closed. At that point we went back to our room to pack up and leave, not actually needing the latest check-out. But, since I was charged extra, I made sure we didn't leave until that time was almost up.

Really underwhelmed with this hotel based on the rate- way overpriced. Hotel is quite dated. Booked a deluxe room (vs classic), nothing “deluxe” about it. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated the extra pillows. Hotel seems quiet.

Pool is only a play area for kids but it was freezing cold. Also seemed a lot of kids using the pol weren't staying there. We booked a suite and the extra room was nice but poor layout. Could only access bathroom through the bedroom. Breakfast was good. The attached Italian restaurant has good pizza but the pasta is not good.

There was no one at the front desk. I said loudly, “Hello?” and no one came. So I sat down and waited. About 10 minutes later, the front desk phone rang. After several rings, a young woman emerged from the back. When she finished the call, she started to return to the back. I called out, “Excuse me. I’d like to check in.” So that’s how the visit started… The good news is that the room (suite!) itself is terrific. A true suite and spotless. I was very happy with the room. The area around the hotel is strange — hard to describe, but it gives off a weird vibe. Not a pretty part of town.

I booked a room at the Clubhouse Hotel in October, paying extra for a room with an exterior door (1st floor). When I attempted check in, I was first told, rather firmly I must say, that I didn’t have a reservation. I showed my confirmation. After some fumbling around at the front desk I was told “oh it wasn’t printed out” whatever that means, and that the 1st floor exterior door room I had already paid extra for wasn’t available and I’d have to take a random regular room on the 2nd floor (I had a lot of equipment on this trip, trying to avoid hauling it through the hotel.) I pointed out I paid extra for a specific room type, on Expedia. “Well you’ll just have to call Expedia then”. End of story, no sympathy whatsoever, just silence, nothing in the way of customer service after this point. Three trips thru lobby and up elevator w my gear. Topping it off, two days later there's another charge added by Clubhouse Hotel to my credit card. I called last week to find out what that was about. After finally getting past the marketing/automated phone number “please enter your reservation number” which is first up on their web site, I reached the front desk directly and was told (fairly politely) “Oh they never should have charged you that amenity fee”, whatever THAT is. It was never mentioned during check in but they did of course take my card for “incidentals”. The added fee was credited back to my card but nothing more. It’s a nice if overpriced hotel, I won’t be staying here again.

Waited at counter during check in to a sign that said on a chore. Next evening both room keys wouldn’t work so went to counter to get keys and another sign that said on a chore. Lady was outside smoking

Worst place to stay in Pierre. Serious construction in Front of hotel, noisy and disruptive. Found worker in my room when I checked in and he made a joke of issue. Kids running in hallways and rooms on 3rd floor. When are hotels going to realize everyone at hotel deserves quiet and respect. Breakfast awful microwave eggs with no options and again terrible service. Managers reception, 2 drinks and Chex mix. Find another hotel or camp out not worth $200.00 per night.

The milk for breakfast was sour even though the date was good. The breakfast hostess was kind and restocked supplies quickly. The outside noise by our window was annoying at 6 am. It wasn't nearby traffic but sounded like a machine constantly starting up. The pool emergency shutoff switches for the slide and hot tub are confusing and hard to run.

Food at the Red Rossa was terrible. I had spaghetti which consisted of Chef Boyardi sauce which was horrebly bland, did not serve parmesan cheese with it, meat balls were store bought frozen. The motel air conditioner was horribly loud, the refrigerator made strange noises and there was some other strange clatter in the room off & on during the night. The bathroom had a dirty floor with hair along every wall edge. Breakfast was the usual junk food the Club House Inns I used to stay at served a full breakfast and I would think they could do the same at this one since there is a resturaunt attached to it.For the price per night it is not worth any more than a cheaper motel.

Perfect room and check in process. Place was full so Mark gave us a slight upgrade which was more than appreciated! The attached Italian restaurant was great too! Will most definitely stay again! 5 out of 5 stars for Mark!

Room and lobby clean. Staff very nice. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices. Managers social at night was ok first night, second night nothing there. Had to ask at desk and they said oh we don’t have a manager here to do it. Where is the manager????

Breakfast was standard fare but adequate, “Manager Cocktail” hour was was a throw back and generous, room large, bed comfortable with good pillows, temperature of room consistently cool. We walked across the Bridge to Drifters, for dinner and to enjoy views of the river. We biked the Lewis Clark trail along the river, easy and quick access from the hotel.
