Staybridge Suites Minot by IHG

Place was great. It designed for longer stays than one night but rooms and everthing was great. Large guest laundry, rooms comfortable clean. Best breakfast we had on trip so far.

The hotel staff was super friendly and the pool & spa were great. But we were less than impressed with the cleaniness of the room. I found a couple nicotine pouches on the floor along with popcorn that wasnt vaccumed up. This is a handicap accessible room and some of the bars that the people rely on were loose and almost falling off. For me the cleanliness is everything that drives a good review. Thats why I didnt give the best review this time.

Breakfast was great and we really appreciated the social hour with food and drinks on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We stayed for a week so the free laundry was much appreciated. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. We will stay here again!

Front desk staff were all amazing. All of the staff was amazing. I love the large rooms and kitchen. Breakfast and courtyard we're also great.

Nice courtyard and private movie theater for family viewing.

Loved that there was a social hour so that you could unwind from your day. Billy who looked after the social hour was amazing. We will definitely be going back there.

Friendly, happy hour, nice facility

We stayed in a 2 bed suite. I tried to check in over the phone and pay with my card. The person helping me on the phone did not know how to check in via telephone. So our family. “Meet up” couldn’t happen until late in the evening. The dresser only had one working drawer. The television in the room turned on all through the night. We had to unhook the cords after completely pulling out the dresser. We tried calling down to the front desk but the phone was off the hook all night. The heat didn’t work in the room, we froze. The pullout bed had food and leftover drink bottles stuck in the cushions. We asked for a blanket set for the pullout bed. After realizing the set only came with one blanket and pillow we asked for extra. We were told they don’t have anymore. The pool was disgusting. You were not able to see the bottom of the pool in the 3 foot area. The water was greenish brown. The morning did not get better. We arrived for breakfast during breakfast hours. The food was out. We waited 10 minutes while employees figured out who was responsible for putting out food. By the time one food item was brought out, 25 minutes later, we asked about any other food being prepared. Received no response. We had 20 eggs available to eat. Bagels were hard as a rock, sand with English muffins. Coffee was empty all morning. At 9:25 am the lights were turned off and the little food that was available was immediately cleared. All in all, the hotel was disgusting and nobody cared.

It was a great stay. Pool could be a bit cleaner. But we still swam.

Room could have been cleaner

Tiles in the bathroom were loose, light bulbs were burnt out, doors not opening with the key card at the pool area. Trash in the room under the couch bed. The positive side is that the staff was real nice and eager to help.

We found an old washcloth from a previous stay in our room. The hand pump from the soap was broken.

Mixed Experience – Friendly Staff but Poor Room Cleanliness The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly, which was a great first impression. However, the room itself was disappointing. The sheets and pillowcases had an unpleasant body odor, there was hair in the bathtub, and food crumbs were left near the bed. Unfortunately, these cleanliness issues made for a less-than-relaxing stay.

Pretty dirty, left over hair in shower and beer cans/trash left in stairways. Usually a good stay but wasn’t impressed during our recent stay.

Bathrooms in the rooms could use some TLC, lots of bugs and dust in the lights, mattress on pullout had a big stain on it. No maid service, don’t expect room to be made up every day, but for price you pay, should have not have to go to front desk every day and get coffee and clean towels. Continental breakfast and happy hour down in the breakfast room from 5-7 was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was well kept

The rooms are spacious and clean & love the kitchen and living room space. Like home away from home. Busy place on a Saturday but Sunday and Monday were so peaceful.

Extremely loud. Guy next to us kept going in amd out of room at 530 am for ice leaving latch in door causing it to slam every time. Had to finally ask him not to do it second night. Also, we were right by exit door and everytime someone went through door would also slam shut. This is a place people stay for a while so there is a lot of traffic in and out of rooms. Road traffic was also very loud.

TVs need to be updated. The one in the living area stopped working and needed an hour unplugged to reset. The other 2 were either partial screen or lines through the picture. Couch and chairs need replacing.

The suites are very spacious and have everything you need!

The two room suite was so great for traveling with friends.

The needed to be replaced the mattress is worn out. The bed frame had some issues. The refrigerator made noise.

This is such a great hotel in Minot. The two room suite with separate bathrooms (at an affordable price) is really nice for traveling with a small group or family. The hotel is super quiet, has a nice breakfast and has easy access.

We stayed in a room that faced the road, the road noise was horrible. We have stayed before but were on the other side and it was super quiet.

It’s right on the highway so very convenient. The room is fine. Dated but ok. Lots of fast food options nearby The coffee was old and awful. And it was super expensive.

The air conditioning wouldn’t go lower than 71 degrees.

The front desk staff are so nice. Paige went above and beyond to make sure our stay was spectacular. We love how spacious the rooms are and the price is very resonable. The fact that they are pet friendly is a bonus as well. Not to mention their breakfast amd social hours are outstanding.We stay at this hotel every time we go to Minot ND to visit.

I legitimately could not make it to the location for the first day of my reservation because of weather and a pile-up on the highway, then got fed a bunch of BS “Nope sorry sir we can'trefund you” AKA, a stamp on my forehead with a laughing face saying “GOTCHA B**CH!!

When we arrived a lady at the counter looked at me, said “I’m busy” and walked away - what a warm welcome! Room was dirty upon arrival - dried soap or lotion globs on the bathroom counter, dishes in cabinets were disgusting, hair on the sheets in the bed. We attempted to shorten our stay and couldn’t get ahold of anyone - no one would answer the phone. We finally found a staff member who told us “the policy is you can cancel 24 hours prior to the next days checkin, but it’s a busy weekend and I don’t feel like doing it” - so, against the written and stated hotel policy, she refused to cancel our last night even though we were 2 days (48 hours) out from it as per stated policy. I also asked why no one would answer the phone and she told me “we’re busy” (there was no one needing help at the desk). When I asked for this refusal to honor their cancellation policy in writing, she refused. When we went to checkout on last day, no one at the counter and another round of no one answering the phones. Staff was horrific to deal with (and very grungy looking, sweatshirts and attitudes galore, super unprofessional) and made up rules as they wanted, coupled with the trashed dining/breakfast area and disgusting and unclean rooms - stay anywhere else but here.

LOVED this hotel and staff!! A wonderful group of people! I had many questions and they were Always prompt and helpful! With a smile! I'm so glad to have stayed here!

The staff during the breakfast time is always in a rush and are rude about it.

3rd Party Bookings (like Expedia) presented checkin challenges… and parking was limited

I was unaware of the dining times for breakfast other than the front desk saying it was over at 10:30. The unaware part was that it was only for the weekends. Week days it’s over at 9:30am. I came down around 10am, the staff didn’t allow unaware guests to see if there were any food left. Paying nearly $500 a night, I’d assume they’d let the food run out. No, they took the food to the back of the kitchen regardless of the amount left. Denied and turned away guests including children. Absolute disappointment!!!

Great place to stay! Teenager could stay up in the living room while I got a great nights sleep. Close to shopping and lots of food options close by.

I always stay at the Staybridge on my way to Canada. It is safe, clean, reliable and convenient. Great service too.

This hotel was nice and roomy. The furniture in the sitting area was a bit dated. We were at breakfast about thirty minutes after it started and the only fruit left was one apple. Not sure what the meat dish was supposed to be but think pairing it with picante sauce and tortillas would have made it more appetizing.

Room was great, blackout curtains good, climate control good, noisy refrigerator (had to turn off to sleep), good in room coffee,private bath seperate from dressing area is a must since no ventilation fans for toilet use. Bed average. Pillows one size and too tall for me. No coffee on a Saturday AM in food court is unacceptable and having to use paper plates and plastic ware on weekends makes for a bad breakfast experience at such a nice pricey hotel.Food staff unfriendly when questioned about both. The GM would not honor the advertised 15% discount because the room was booked via Expedia. Expedia would not honor the discount either which was not understandable? Lesson is book straight with property and not Expedia for flexibility in rates. Will stay at the Holiday Inn Express on our next visit as had great visit with them 2 weeks prior.
