Chestnut Tree Inn Portland Mall 205

Unless you wanna hear moaning and have broken appliances and non working showers and ripped up towels and bed sheets this place was absolutely awful but I guess you get what you pay for

For what it is (a motel in Mal 205) for under $100 it's great. They consistently upgrade me to my favorite room, which me and my dogs appreciate. The rooms are basic but clean and close to restaurants, and some decent stores. I love that it is central for public transportation the blue and green lines and numerous buses are in walking distance. Unlike some neighboring motels (if I say which ones they won't publish) where they police knock on your door between 1045 and 11 to do a mandatory room cleaning, are on a first name basis with the local police, or despite being a well known name are just a more expensive trap house. This motel is quiet, safe, clean and the cleaning crew will clean as you wish The staff are always kind and work with you Only require a $50 deposit in cash or credit Downside No laundry room $15 charge per 🐶 No vending machines No microwaves in the room, you can use the one in the office if you want but it's inconvenient. There are 2 Keurig machines in the office but no coffee..which makes me sad No weekly rate, they really should do a weekly at like $500. It would.help those of us in-between apartments and fill up the empty rooms I hesitated to stay here because I thought.. if it didn't pop up in my searches then it must be crap. I was wrong.

I stay here at least once a week for sure it’s always so quiet clean rooms! The owner and or the gentleman in the front is so sweet!

Amazing staff love how quiet it is not a lot of traffic! The gentleman in the front runs it solo and does amazing!
