The hotel itself was good. It was clean, staff was friendly, plenty of parking and good breakfast. The surrounding area is not so good. We arrived to find multiple police cars in the area with multiple homeless camps within the adjacent area. The hotel was secured, by not allowng doors to just open. Even during the day you needed the key card to enter the hotel, which made us safe, but also made us consider going somewhere else even thoight we knew we wouldn't be abke to get our money back. At the end, we decided to stay since we were there only for the night as we were all all day long. Overall, hotel was good, just the surrounding area is definitely sketchy.

Security bldg in an industrial area. Attached market/deli. Very good water pressure in shower. Very good big TV. Large spacious jr suite. Lots of parking. Fast easy access to freeway. Huge soccer park behind building provides great walking area. Good free breakfast.

The property was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that the elevator didn't work so well and the key for the room kept not working. As much as I liked this hotel, I have to say that it is in a bad area and there's a lot of homeless people gathering in a Chevron store located about 100 feet from the property. There is a security guard protecting the cars and the property.

Very helpful, pleasant staff, very good lighting in parking area, liked the security of requiring a cardkey for entry, excellent water pressure, nice breakfast. Suggest more consistent or double security for the property to better deter the non-guests frequenting the property, or maybe a high electric-gate and surrounding fence. The security responded quickly to the persons looking inside cars but maybe double security or a gate will help. Suggest using same deodorizer in rooms as used in lobby.

We had to book a last minute hotel in Portland and saw that the Country Inn & Suites had an impressive rating and was near the airport. The actual room was fine. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had a pleasant quite stay. However, be warned that the Wi-fi does not reach the fourth floor of the building. We had a room on the 4th floor and immediately called the front desk when we couldn't connect to the wi-fi. The front desk let us know that this was a known issue for the last year at this hotel and there was no solution. We were not offered any compensation or alternatives. Since we only stayed two nights, it was a hassle, but we made do. Also of note, the gym on the first floor was severely under-stocked (only two clean towels, no disinfecting wipes) and appeared to have been ignored for quite some time. The equipment still worked, but the gym needs an obvious update and routine cleaning.

Staff and the common areas of the hotel were great, but everything else missed the mark. Our room smelled of moisture, carpet was filthy (wore sandals the whole time here) and some bathroom amenities were broken. By the time we noticed the issues with the bathroom, we were pretty tired and settled in so it was honestly too much of a pain to request a room change since it was only a 2 night stay . The toilet was not properly secured to the ground and it moved every time someone sat down and the toilet bowl tank cover was incorrect. The bathroom faucet was broken and made it hard sometimes to turn on the water for a shower. Although it was no fault to them, the surrounding areas were pretty sketchy with many unhoused people loitering nearby at the gas station or minimart. I felt unsafe to go to the car by myself and parked as close to the lobby as possible. I really had high hopes for this property, but my family was disappointed with our stay. The daily breakfast was a nice touch - the waffles with the Nutella was delish though.

There was a horrible sewage smell noticed immediately when you stepped in the lobby. The front desk staff said they were dealing with what was possibly broken pipes. The smell was in the lobby and hallways, but I did not get into the rooms. I felt sorry for the front desk who could not escape it. I didn't try the breakfast, being it was held where the sewage smell was.

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The dining area was clean and well attended. I wish there were more options for the hot food. Only on our first day, Wednesday, there was biscuits and gravy. The other days were all the same: scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage or bacon. Otherwise you could choose to make a waffle, muffins, bagels, cereal, or yogurt. We liked the cookies that were available in the evening.

My family is on a 3 week roadtrip, mostly camping in national parks with occasional hotel stays. This hotel was a wonderful stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of options. The staff was always very friendly. The only issue we had was one of the clothes washers wasn’t working so only one was available which kept me up very late doing laundry. It’s through a third party and it was late at night so the staff wasn’t able to help. Outside was a little sketchy, but once inside we never felt unsafe.

When we arrived at about 9:30PM, we should have known from the large gathering of homeless people at the driveway entrance that we picked the wrong location. We did pass a security patrol car, though. The clerk seemed bothered and annoyed to check us in. We booked a room with two queens, but they didn’t have any. The clerk told us his colleague (not we) upgraded us to a suit with a king and a pull-out. It wasn’t a huge perk, as the room was outdated, the floors creaked, and the toilet wobbled when you sat on it. We discovered the hard way that the toilet didn’t just wobble; the caulking was gone from around it and the seal was bad. A pool of water covering the entire bathroom floor formed around the toilet requiring every towel, hand towel, and washcloth to dry it up. We did notify housekeeping and the front desk. All we got was “I am so sorry. We will let maintenance know.” We had zero dry towels and given the tiny bubbles we saw escape from between the tiles, water was definitely seeping somewhere else. I should have paid the extra $30 to stay somewhere else. Lesson learned.

We were there to visit family and on the second day of our stay, we had a family emergency and they shortened our stay without hesitation and refunded the nights remaining on our reservation. The place was clean, staff very friendly and professional, breakfast was very good. We will be back next time in Portland.

First, the check in experience was the best I have had in a long time. This hotel may not be in a great area in Portland but the employees act like you are worth a million dollars & they are the best of the best. No complaints at all. Very giving also with a wonderful breakfast that doesn't end until 10am.

All six of us were extremely pleased with this hotel! It was clean and tidy and very very quiet for sleeping, and the beds were comfortable, the shower was great, the breakfast was delicious and substantial, and the cookies at the front desk were a nice touch. The free parking was close in to the front and convenient. This one is a bit hidden off the main road especially in the dark so look at your map or directions carefully for the final turns. The staff was very friendly and helpful, every one of them. The price was good too. This was a great value and we would totally stay here again!

Staff at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson were courteous, pleasant, and accommodating during Portland's first winter storm of 2025. They went above and beyond by driving me to the nearest light rail station in icy driving conditions. I would recommend this location, especially if you need easy access to Portland International Airport. Thanks for all your help!

Property is average, staff was very friendly, fresh cookies and coffee around the clock and great breakfast. We received a text message after checking in that room will be cleaned every 3 day. We were there for 3 nights, but our room was cleaned at all. We went to the front desk and asked for clean towels. We were told that we could have requested the room to be cleaned at front desk.Homeless people are hanging around the hotel, but not at the hotel property. We had noticed 3 separate restaurants in the area were boarded up.

We arrived a few minutes past the midnight I’m so the lady was not able to get into her system. However, she was told by another person that does certain room was available and we went up to the room. My daughter and I and we walked in somebody else’s room, they were asleep. We scared the crap out of them because it scared the crap out of us. It was not good. They just sent us to a second room with the door didn’t work properly but we got there and her sheets were completely gross other hair on them crumb stuff like that and then proceeded to have us change our own sheets because it was 1:30 in the morning and they told us that they would take care of it the next day flash forward a couple hours and there was some homeless guy, laughing and giggling outside her window, staring at my 17 year old daughter stay away from this place if you can.

The hotel itself is good. Staff pleasant, bed comfortable, room comfortable, though very small. The neighborhood (aside from the soccer fields adjacent to the hotel) is dismal. Closed, boarded up restaurants, graffiti everywhere and unkept landscaping. Totally not walkable. Easy to get to very near the I5 and easy to get to Janzen Beach area where there are some restaurants and shopping. So overall I guess an 8.0 is a fair rating.

The hotel its self is ok, older property showing a bit. Nice breakfast area with a decent offering like you'd expect from country inn. The area around the hotel though is a lot of closed shops / restraunts and lots of homeless people. It is fairly close to the airport but the comfort inn on south side of airport is newer in a seemingly better area and closer to arival/departure area.

Good location for quick access to PIR. Very fairly priced. Tons of what looks like drug-related homelessness immediately outside the property, at no fault of the property owner. They had private security actively watching their parking lot at night, and no one seemed to wander on the property as a result. Definitely will consider staying there again.

The room was adequate for my needs which was an overnight stay. However there isn't a whole lot to do around the area and the area is unsafe especially at night. I recommend this hotel only if you are doing an overnight stay as there other hotels both north and south of the area that are better than this when it comes to the overall stay experience.

Clean room, friendly staff, breakfast was good; eggs, meat, potatoes, tortillas, bread, muffins, bagels, waffle maker, juices and coffee. All were tasty. Rooms are clean and smell good. Bedding clean. Room came with mini fridge, microwave, blow dryer, full size shampoo, conditioner, body soap and lotion. The parking lot- It’s Dark!! Although I personally felt safe, my companion mentioned they did not and were uncomfortable going outside alone. Lots of homeless clearly high on something at gas station, the entrance to Hotel and the main streets and near by side streets. BUT I would stay here again :)

Stay was decent. Few things stood out - Breakfast was good, as explained but the service there was poor. Guy in-charge at breakfast room was rude. The items running out were not being replenished. Other thing was that the location outside hotel was not that great. I guess that is one of the reason, hotel's main entrance was accessible thru key card. I stayed only for 1 night. Breakfast experience might be anomaly. Otherwise, hotel was clean. Everything was functioning. Wifi had low signal in my room.
