Nice new hotel with updated rooms and a great gym. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Only issue is that the wifi was not great. It was very slow and would not load some websites i needed for work.

Very comfortable and clean hotel. Location is very walkable, there are a couple of grocery stores, several restaurants and lots of shopping. Staff is excellent all around. Valet parking if you have a car is $59/night. Beds are comfy and linens felt on the newer side which was nice.

Incredible stay, amazing views, super close to Powell's books, Deschutes Brewery, food trucks, and water views. Restaurant food was also great, and our 4yo loved the park and playground literally out the front door. $55 valet parking in a private garage is pricey, but worth the peace of mind. Alternatively, you can park on the street for free overnight, but then you have to find parking, which is not easy. We stayed one night in a king and one night in a king suite, and both were clean, comfortable, convenient, and chic. :) 24h gym and A+ bathrooms (including an accessible bench in the shower of the king suite) are what made us sign up for the points program for the next time we're in town.

Since this is a new hotel, everything was great. The hotel itself, the room, the gym, and lobby area are very clean. I would almost give 5 stars but my takeaway is there is no parking. The do have valet parking but overnight is 60.00 . The hotel was nice, and clean, and the restaurant was good. It is the city so common sense is expected in the surrounding area

The property itself was lovely!! Beautiful job in design and amenities! Loved our room. The bed was comfortable and felt relaxing/clean. The room was nicely decorated without being overly done. Your staff deserves an award for their friendliness, attention to detail. The Chef was warm and friendly. My mom had breakfast their a couple times and loved how simple yet delicious it was as well as the fact that the chef made a fresh berry compote that she thought was outstanding! I suppose you could say that we did not do our homework regarding the homeless situation in Portland as the outdoors area left a lot to be desired. That has nothing to do with the hotel itself but it was depressing to see the filth left by those who live on the street. We love the hotel and the staff and will be back as well as sharing our experience with friends who love to travel the USA!! Thank you Cambria, Portland!

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and knew about the Cambria in Chicago and I will now be staying there. The only negative is that I did not have maid service during my 3 day stay, but it wasn’t needed. Also, there is no laundry service on the weekend, which I could have used.

Clean room, (but we never had any staff clean our room I don’t know if that was on us or them). The staff were all really nice down from the bartender to the receptionist. There was coffee and tea in the hotel room, along with plenty of towels (even more upon request). Overall the hotel was very relaxing and peaceful. The only bad thing is that there are a good amount of homeless people lingering around especially at night and there’s barely any street parking (valet and overnight parking is expensive). Walking around to restaurants and stores nearby was also really nice and accessible.

Staff onsite from the valet to the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. The room itself was pretty tiny, but so well planned! The bathroom was very indulgent feeling and a great space to get ready for the day. Side note: I was thrilled that the staff read my request and booked my room directly next door to my friends! There is nothing quite as fun as an adjoining door for old friends meeting for a weekend of debauchery! :P

Such a nice place in the Pearl district, close to everything downtown. Lots of art galleries in the neighborhood, and a park across the street, with food carts and a double-decker bus/pub 2 blocks away. Staff was VERY helpful, friendly and accommodating. Room was lovely, large, and well equipped. The shades were great for privacy or light control. We had a great view (6th floor) of the park and streets below.

Cambria is a new hotel on the fringe of the Portland, Or Pearl District. It is very close to all the district has to offer. Overall, this is a great location and hotel experience. The lobby and Recess restaurant are very well designed and comfortable. I'd definately stay here again. One thing to note however is that the sound attenuation between floors is atrocious, really non-existent. Every move can be heard from the room above, including the sound of blinds being opened and closed. If the guest above was obnoxiously loud late in evening, my review would probably be two stars.

The rooms are new and clean with a refrigerator and great views (especially if you can see the park across the street). The staff were friendly and accommodating both at the front desk and at the restaurant. This will now be our hotel home when we have to stop in Portland.

A picture window onto the park gave the room a glow of light for the most of the day. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and attentive. It’s a central location, on the edge of the Pearl District, and is peaceful.

I really enjoy my stay at Cambria. All the staff members were super friendly. The room was super clean and also decor was very modern. The bed was very comfortable. The only down side was that my room faced the corner of Couch and Park Ave right by the park and both nights I stayed there was a lot of noise from cars with loud mufflers, loud bass and bands playing loud instruments.

We stayed two nights and it was great. We were able to find street parking right out front of the hotel so we didn't have to pay for valet parking. There are lots of choices for food and drinks within walking distance so it was perfect for us. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was also amazing.

Maintenance man was friendly and kind. First night our closet light wouldn’t go off and the second night the glass shower door fell off while my son was in the shower. Disappointed it took management 3 days to find a solution I had to seek them out and ask to speak to them 3 times

Receptionist at front desk was inefficient & had a bit of a rude attitude during check in. Other front desk staff during stay was all great. Design & lay out of room, being a brand new hotel, were not well thought out-- wasted space, not user friendly, etc . Best aspect -- Cleanliness was A+

Beautiful, modern hotel. Friendly staff. Hotel itself very clean, very nice. Once you walk out the door across the street down the sidewalk there is plenty of homeless squatters and drug addicts every corner. It was scary if you’re not used to that.
