I was given a tour by grumpy. He was welcoming while maintaining his street cred. My room was lovely, but had no windows which I found a bit disorienting. The room smelled a bit musty. Once I turned a fan on it was better. I don’t know how much of that was just the fact that there is a crazy level of humidity in the air. It’s an old inn but very charming and the bed was comfortable. I would stay there again but would make sure I got a window. The people were friendly and the inn was well maintained. The food in the restaurant was excellent, Looking forward to coming back to Savannah .

We stayed in a room across the road from the restaurant and I’m not quite sure if there are any rooms at the actual check in location. This reminded me more of an Airbnb set up but without a kitchen. We did have a mini fridge. The room was vintage and clean. The sitting parlor wasn’t private but we didn’t notice anyone using it. We did hear our neighbors loud and clear above us late at night but they settled down after midnight. Overall I would probably stay again if we return to Savannah. I’m not sure why we had to pay a nightly fee for parking since our room had a private spot in an alley right at our back door. It wasn’t like we were using a public lot or parking deck.

This was the perfect room, hotel, restaurant, and stay for a quick overnight solo trip. The staff was so helpful from parking to directions and dinner.

Perfect location, close to everything in the historic district and the hop-on, hop-off bus route comes one block from the hotel which is extra convenient. We were able to walk to the river in 8 minutes. The hotel is very historic and has so much character. We really enjoyed the guest house which has about 8 rooms in it. The staff was great and we really appreciated Grumpy's tour of the hotel and the neighborhood as we were checking in. We didn't try the restaurant unfortunately but it looked like a very nice place. Overall I will stay here again if we return to town.
