This is a good basic hotel for business and family travel. I especially appreciated that there were helpful people at the front desk who could answer a question. Having the shuttle service ($7.99, paid to the shuttle service) was crucial for me.

The older European American lady that checked us in was not cordial and never welcomed us or smiled. But the younger Indian gentleman at the desk Sun morning was awesome. He was cordial, smiled and was very helpful. The exterior windows to the building were opennd. Not sure why, but wierd. Maybe because it smelled musty. The hot tub/whirlpool was not working. There was a wierd texture in the bathtub. Definately the worst Fairfield I have stayed in.

Here's what i was disappointed in: a $8.00 third party charge, they charge you for booking thru Expedia! A 15.99 parking charge and a $6.00 shuttle charge for one member in our party. By the time we paid $30 in add ons, it was apparent I should have used my Marriott awards program and paid full price thru Marriott.

The only reason we selected this hotel was the statement on your website that they had airport shuttle service, which was false. We spent spent 24 dollars on a cab to the airport, for which I think we should be reimbursed.

It's confusing that during booking you read there's an airport shuttle, but when checking in you get to hear there's no shuttle; shuttle is from another Fairfield inn hotel. Room looked old and carpet was a bit wet on one side of the bed. We had an early flight so breakfast wouldn't be ready. It was nice that we were able to take with us what was available during the breakfast prep.

The entire facility is rundown and in dire need of upgrades. Everything is old and overused. Dust and dirt in the elevator. Stayed for two nights. No maid service. No clean towel. No one picks up the garage. Breakfast is okay. Very thin door with almost an inch gap at the bottom. Very noisy room. Filthy carpet in the hallway. I am more demanding because the price is not cheap. With taxes, parking, and everything else is close to $200/night but I am getting the quality of a Motel 6, maybe Super8.

Staff was great! Room was very dated and not super clean. Found hair clump in the toilet that wasnt flushed and sheets were cheap. Old carpet. Walls very thin and could hear people above you. Very good price but fair hotel overall.

My experience from check in to check out was exceptional. I dealt with 3 different women at the counter and all had incredible attitudes, were eager to assist, and treated me with such kindness. Parking was reasonable, the location was perfect, the room was so clean and well worth every penny I paid. I plan to return to this hotel! I absolutely loved it! Thank you to the staff for making my experience so pleasant.

Service was very good. Amenties were as expected for a Fairfield Inn and there were multiple dining options within a 5-10 minute walking distance. The only problem was the noise, which prevented me from sleeping (I had just returned on an international flight so the point of the hotel was to enable me to get some sleep before driving home). I was in room 220, which is literally 10-20 feet from the Taco Bell drive-thru lane. You hear the orders constantly throughout the night... "Welcome to Taco Bell. May I take your order?" "Yeah, I\'ll have 2 quesaritos, one chalpua, a Mexican pizza, and a Coke." The employee then repeats the order and tells the customer to pay at the window. This goes on 24/7, so there\'s no chance of getting any sleep unless they\'re able to move you to a room on the north side of the hotel. Other than that, a decent place to stay right on El Camino. I recommend "Wonderful" for Hunan food two blocks away.

I booked a king size bed and it was given away once I checked in. The hotel is backed up by a very busy road (El Comal Real) so we didn’t sleep well because of the heavy traffic. The toilet also clogged up and there was no one to bring up a plunger which we were charged for. Do not recommend!

I asked the person checking me in TWICE the amount I would be charged. He acted as if I were a bother. BOTH times he reassured me only $16 would be charged. I had a reservation the next day using the card that I gave him and had I known I would be out $100 and not $16, I would have used a different card. He lied straight to my face about what I was going to be charged. I have NEVER stayed somewhere that gave me an accessible room without telling me before I go up to the room. I shared a room with my teenage son. Having a bathroom door that does not completely shut with the ability to lock, is absolutely unacceptable. The door slid and did not fully slide closed. There was still an opening. Again, unacceptable. The mirror, sink and counter were outside of the bathroom. This was a major inconvenience. The hotel dismissed my issues completely & wouldn’t change our room. We cut our trip early and went home early because my teenage son was so uncomfortable. Do not ever ever stay here. The management is inept and were not available over the weekend, their busiest time.

Some of the staff should be trained on customer service and making people feel welcome at the hotel. The window blinds of our rooms window wasn't working and we had a difficult time getting sleep in the morning due to this. When I told them about this the manage on shift on the morning of 8/31 told me that we are aware about it will work on it. When I asked if I can expect it to be fixed today, she said "well yes, thats what this is for" pointing to the piece of paper that had written all the rooms that needed service. Is this the kind of communication we should expect? Overall, its a decent hotel, customer service is not at the standard I'd expect a Mariotte hotel, but other than that its a pretty decent hotel for a budget stay.

Of the 2 experiences I've had with this property, Michelle was WONDERFUL!!! She was excited about her job and the property and took GREAT care of me. Contrast with Debbie who droned on about rules and showed little enthusiasm about her job. That transaction felt very corporate and cold.

I had made 2 reservations over Expedia , the hotel couldn’t find the second reservation, hotel was fully booked. Waiting in the lobby over 2 hours trying talk to Expedia because front desk didn’t. Very disappointed.

The customer service was really good. I wish they had a better breakfast buffet, was quite disappointed in the options and expired milk. Also, I was told the check-in additional charge would be credited back to my account, but I still got charge the $8/per day for my stay. I've stayed in quite a few hotels in the area, and this was the first that I got a charge like this. Unfortunately I don't plan to stay here again when I return.

Great location right across the street from our favorite restaurant and there is a cross walk. The hotel advertises 24 hour coffee, at 6am it is cold coffee from breakfast the day before. There are coffee pods in the room but I presumed fresh coffee in the lobby and that is not true.
