I give a full 5 stars to Candace at the front desk. She was attentive to our needs and very pleasant to deal with! The ceiling in our room look like it needed some maintenance. As for location, it was a bit noises being so close to the airport. After paying for the amenities, we were disappointed when the pool was not usable because they was a private kids swim school occupying the whole area!

The hotel is nice and clean, staff was accommodating , but I was disappointed that the PARKING fee nightly for guest is $48.00 per night. Meanwhile theres LITTLE TO NO PARKING for guest b/c the site also charges 11.95 for "park & fly".SInce the airport is across the street. So As a guest, Im paying for a room but being charge 4x's the amount to park, but people leaving their vehicle to fly out are charged $11 per night. I will NOT be coming back!

The default pillows were awful but the staff kindly found some better ones for me. When I arrived the food menu had pretty much round of most things; there's no room service so it's a case of waiting at the bar for whatever left to come. The pool area and gym and both really good. I'd stay again.

Great location - close to the airport and right off the highway. Super convenient shuttle that runs every 15 mins. If you have early morning flight like we did, just give yourself some extra time because we had a shuttle at 3:30am and it was almost full! Room was spacious, clean, and had everything that you might need.

The check-in was fast, efficient and the staff were friendly. Overall the property is very clean, walking around the lobby it is spotless, hallways were spotless & I noticed they even had someone cleaning marks off the entry way drive way. My room was super clean, had two queen beds which were comfortable, air-con worked great. Check-out was just as fast and efficient as check-in. My only downside, and it is to be expected given the convenience of the location, the rooms are a little noisy as it is right beside the airport but the sound of the jets taking off will soon just become background noise. If I need another San Francisco Airport hotel, I'd recommend and would happily stay again.

My initial check-in went smoothly. The lady that helped me was nice. My room was a dog friendly room and it smelled like urine the whole stay. Carpets looked gross too. It was difficult to sleep. It was pretty noisy with the hallway noises and airplanes going by. The staff wasn’t very welcoming. Never acknowledged you as you walked by. No good morning or thanks for staying. I’ve never been to a hotel like that. I’ve stayed at many dog friendly places too but that smell of urine was absolutely unacceptable. I’m happy that the parking fee was waived but definitely wasn’t worth the dog fee. I definitely would’ve stayed elsewhere. Also, there isn’t much in terms of walking distance. The trail was decent but there weren’t very many places to walk to to eat. We used the ramen machine in the hotel but it was just okay.

This is a nice hotel. It’s very close to the airport if you’re coming off of a flight or headed to one. That is also one of the downsides. We could hear the airplanes taking off every 5 minutes. It’s really loud and distracting. Our room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. One other downside was our room had a smell. It was like a pet stayed in the room prior to our stay. Everything else was great. The amenities; pool and gym and outside area are all great. The food area in front is nice and convenient complete with hot water for tea or coffee and microwave for warming food.

The soundproofing of the rooms is non-existent meaning the aircraft noise is very loud and disruptive. I know it's an airport hotel and all but others have excellent double glazing and soundproofing to minimise this. The Aloft did not. Also parking was v expensive for guests at $45 oer night.

I arrived at 1 pm and with plenty of available rooms. The hotel requested a $20 additional fee for early check in. I have traveled all over the world and whenever they have rooms ready they happily let you check in early.

The shuttle from the airport was convenient and quick. I checked in just before midnight. The check in did not take long but I was refused a late check out the following day. As a Bonvoy member I would have hoped they could offer this. I asked why the bar was closed and I was told they closed early. I had a long day of travel and would have liked a glass of wine. The employee suggested beer or other drinks which were in the lobby. She said I could pay at the end of the counter. I put my luggage away and went back to get a drink and she wanted me to wait in the registration line, which had 6 people in it. I asked if she could just charge the drink to the room and she was very rude about it and accused me of stealing. How is that stealing? I asked her to charge it to my room, rather then wait an hour in line. In the end I put the drink back and left. Very very rude service. I will not be returning.

The ALoft was a great place to stay! For some reason the bar was closed and it was kind of a disappointment. There is a Westin right next door though that has a bar. The lobby area is cool and fun!

The hotel has a great little market area, but you have to wait to pay in line behind everyone checking in, which is a total hassle and a long delay. I just put everything back and went up to my room cause I didn’t wanna stand there for 20 minute. They should put a self payment kiosk of some sort.

The staff were very friendly and the location was perfect for traveling. The shuttle was reliable and the bar food was excellent. The only inconvenience was ordering or buying food and having to wait at the front desk to pay. I would definitely stay there again!

Our Uber driver could not figure out how to use the automated entry gate when we arrived for an overnight stay. My wife also could not figure it out, We delayed people in cars behind us trying to enter the entry area. A woman got out of a car behind us and said that she also had problems with the entry gate, but then she touched something and it opened without giving us the QR code that would allow the Uber driver to leave after dropping us off. We went to the front desk to ask for help in letting the Uber driver leave. Acting like a rule-driven bureaucrat, a person at the front desk said we he should have received a QR code and implied nothing could be done about that. After an annoying interchange, someone else at the front desk printed out a new exit pass, which we gave to the Uber driver. This incident could be interpreted as expecting guests or their drivers to use inscrutable technology. It also could be interpreted as an example of someone at the front desk not being trained in basics of the hospitality industry, Regardless, that beginning to our stay led us to notice minor shortcomings in aspects of the room.
