The hotel was great, room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. However, the $9 for parking was a surprise and the front desk staff should not be gossiping and talking about staff politics in front of guests attempting to enjoy their breakfast.

We were very disappointed that the hot tub is out of order. We have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. That is why we chose this hotel for our stay again. Pool and hot tub were a must for us and the hot tub has been out of order during our entire stay. We feel that we should’ve been notified at check-in that the hot tub was out of order and been compensated in someway. In a separate matter, I noticed that there was a fecal matter in the hallway and into the bathroom near the fitness room and pool area. It appeared that somebody had an accident and did not make it to the toilet in time. I reported it to the front desk, but I noticed there were still remains on the floor hours later even though there was a cost placed in the area.. Considering the fact that people walk in this area barefoot, I think that is a hazard. Say with confidence that we would stay at this particular hotel again in the future. This is disappointing as we like it convenience of shopping and restaurants nearby.

The breakfast was very well stocked and they kept up with a busy dining space. Housekeeping was helpful, providing a light service when we couldn’t get out of the room. The only thing is the pool tile is deathly, dangerously slippery. Bring water shoes or something. I fear for people’s heads and hips. Shuttle service is on time and efficient. I also like the location especially for an airport hotel.

There was a lot of dust in my room. I could run my finger through it. The bathtub did not feel like it had been cleaned. There is not a restaurant or a bar in the hotel. It’s a counter. They only have a few things they make on the menu when it’s supposed to be a restaurant.

Great location for airport travel, shuttle on time, long term parking reasonably priced, decent breakfast included. Room was very comfortable, clean, and doesn’t have one of those loud air conditioner/heaters.

Great location from the airport and there is a shuttle. It’s an older hotel but kept clean and well managed. For those that care: the bar didn’t have spirits and there isn’t a liquor store near by.

We were very disappointed to find that their 24 hour airport shuttle was only available by reservation and we had to leave for the airport at 4am, hours before our flight. When asked about our options we received a shoulder shrug.

All good except I set up a shuttle service for 6:00 a.m. and was parking my vehicle for 3 weeks. I was there at 5:45 and waited until 6:10 called fromt desk and was told the next shuttle would be 6:20-6:30. I dont have :30 minutes of time to spare on business trips. Ended up taking my own vehicle. Very disappoint. Instead if owning the mistake/oversight/problem your staff made muliple excuses and blames it on me. Unacceptable. Do better.

Hyatt Place Portland Airport worked perfectly for us. We stayed 2 nights. The Cascade Station is a 10-minute-walk, so you can easily take the Red Line and get to downtown. Also, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance . The hotel offers free shuttle to the aiport.

Our stay was okay overall. The staff were helpful and accommodating, which we appreciated. However, there was an odor in the room when we first walked in, almost like dried sweat. While the bed sheets were clean, it seems the carpets might need to be replaced, as that’s likely where the odor is coming from. I had to purchase an odor eliminator spray to help out with the odor.

First room fridge wasn’t cold the gal moved us into another room which was very kind. However, come to find out the heating air conditioner unit was unusually very loud so we had to leave it off at night when sleeping. We also had pests in the form of sugar ants. The day we left I told them.

Where do I start. We affectionately called this place poo palace after the poo marks that were evident in the bathroom. We flew in late and didn’t realize that there was faeces in the bathroom. Needless to say NEVER AGAIN

I was pleased with the condition of the hotel and the comfort of our room. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. My one complaint is that the sound proofing is HORRIBLE. We heard children crying, dogs barking, people talking (quietly), other TV's and footsteps well into the night.

The lady at the front desk was nice at check in but did the absolute bare minimum. Gave no info about the hotel (breakfast hours, no info on check out time etc.) the room was clean and the beds comfortable but the walls were so thin every time someone in another room flushed a toilet or ran the shower we could hear it in our room., also the AC was SOOOOOO LOUD.

Property was convenient. The only few things that weren’t ok was….we had a WIFI problem and i went to the front desk for help and the staff member was a bit rude and unhelpful. The other thing was i didn’t know that i had to request my room to be cleaned. That wasn’t told to me at check in

We concluded that Hyatt invests in the breakfast bar and aesthetics of the hotel, but not the furniture. By that I mean: the bed is an old-school spring design, and not comfortable - very bouncy. Other hotels have memory foam and it's sooo much better. Also, the furniture in our room, and in the lobby/breakfast area is quite uncomfortable - maybe they don't want you lingering there too long? That said, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated the free parking and overall convenient access/location. The pool and excercise room were very nice too.

Check-in was not particularly friendly. Jordan simply went through the motions. He was professional but didn't seemed to "greet" us as we checked in. Check out was similar with a different individual. Professional - no emotions - oh well. We were in room 130 and the NOISE - foot stomping from the 2nd floor was extremely annoying. We told front desk and they sent security up but this continued well into the AM. Fortunately the noisy AC unit drowned out the 2nd floor noise.

Conveniently close to Portland airport but quiet. The staff was very friendly down to the airport shuttle driver who even offered to find and deliver back an item that another passeger left in their room! Our room was huge with a great design for the work area that didn’t disrupt my partner's sleep. We didn’t require breakfast so no comment to that.

I checked in around 11:30pm. I arrived from the east coast and was exhausted. The front desk clerk was horrible. I was standing in front of her and she started checking me in and then let taking phone calls and also talking with the shuttle driver coming in and out. I had to wait for all the commotion to stop before she recognized that she still needed to finish checking me into a room. Very rude and unprofessional!!! Clearly customers standing in front of employees do not come first at this Hyatt Place! Would not recommend!!

Amazing staff. I booked one night, went to the airport, but my flight was canceled so I had to book another night. What was a stressful day turned much better with the front desk help (Gonzalo Perez). I also want to give shout-out to the supervisor (Hannah Mayes) that drove the shuttle that day, she was so gentle and easygoing. Great location with the shops and restaurants nearby. Thank you so much

We got in late from our flight, but we called a week ahead and let them know. I also called them from the airport to let them know we were on our way, but no Answer for about 5 phone calls later. I finally got through and they knew i was coming, yet for we're locked when we got there and took 20 minutes to get in after that. Mind you is about 2am at this point. A gentleman staying there ended letting us in. We get to the desk and stand there forever whilst she helps others sitting there drinking. They were priority. Finally another person came and helped us and i let him know and he didn't care either. Worst place for feeling unimportant that I've ever stayed at.

The parking fees was not added or disclosed by check in , it was added at the time of checkout… morover in morning breakfast when we ask to staff to refill the fresh milk in breakfast , she denied & said this is the only milk we have so no milk ….

Staff and accomodations were excellent. Hannah at the front desk and the other staff are rock stars. Asked for both early check in and late check out - no problem. There were also familiar with the area. Room was great - clean, bed and pillows great, WIFI worked, hot shower and clean towels. Will definitely be staying here again and recommending this hotel.

Staff was great. After I checked out and had been on the road for my next location I realized I had left my phone charger plugged in in the room. I called and the employee was friendly and immediately checked to see if it was there and he informed me it was. He said he would hold on to it for me until I came back through Portland.

The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. The room was really nice and much better than I expected. I'm in Portland a lot and will be staying here every time now. Free shuttle, super convenient...and super relaxing. Skip the breakfast though, it was rough. IHOP is two doors down.

Check-in was stellar. Our room was ready when we got there - a couple of hours early. This allowed us to get refreshed to meet friends for dinner at Parkstone Wood Kitchen and Taps across the street. The room was spacious, quiet and cozy, if not somewhat dated. Breakfast (included) was standard, but had plenty of choices and all were fresh and well stocked by the ever watchful staff. In all I'd recommend for weary travelers coming from or going to the Portland airport.

Did not attend breakfast as it is now $11 per person. At my last stay it was free. I also requested a microwave for my room to which the receptionist told me there was one in the lobby I could use and no microwave was brought to my room. It has never been an issue at my previous stays.
