What a great stay. Great group of employees. Stayed three nights, and had booked two rooms for our family. Close to everything. Rooms were very clean, and though we stayed 3 nights, our rooms were cleaned every day. We had stayed here before, four years ago, and nothing really has changed. The employees make you feel like family. It’s good to go some where and see others having a great time visiting with each other and enjoying the pool.

The property advertised a seasonal heated outdoor pool but when we arrived at the end of June it was not open despite the guest information stating that it was open after memorial day. When I inquired about it the front desk guy said "yeah, they're not done painting it". The TV had horrible picture quality with horizontal lines running through every channel making it difficult to watch and the deadbolt that they recommended we use wouldn't lock due to improper installation. I had to use my mini saw to cut out the wood from inside the deadbolt slot so that it would lock. The complimentary continental breakfast was nothing to write home about and the toaster didn't work. I would not recommend this motel.

The pet area was rock and full of dog doo. There were no pickup bags, thankfully I travel with plenty. The ice machine is really inconveniently placed. The room was clean and quiet. The house keeper was very friendly.

Silver Saddle Motel is minutes within walking distance to downtown Manitou Springs (only less than 5 minutes by car but you have to pay for parking). The owner is very friendly and welcoming. We had a nice room with 2 very comfortable queen size beds. The continental breakfast is very good, too. It's also a pet-friendly place (for a small fee). We enjoyed our stay there. Thanks, John :-)

We were making our way back from Aspen up to Garden of the Gods on an 8 day road trip from NY. We had a unit right by the road and it was fairly quiet. The bed was super comfy and the room felt clean but did have a weird odor. TV speaker was also whacked out and made everything sound muffled. No bed bugs though, area felt safe, good ac, things felt clean, and we had a table to eat our dinner at. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a cheap place that won’t cost you your sanity like the places in Colorado Springs that sound like a nightmare.

Nice, affordable motel. Easy check-in, easy parking. Pretty standard basic room. Clean, safe room. It’s a good place for a brief overnight when I’m solo. A couple of negatives that may be issues for some: the air conditioner is loud. Like, “jars you awake when it comes on” kind of loud. Obnoxiously loud so you can’t have a phone conversation when it’s on. I finally just turned it off and left it off. Also, massive gap under the door (which opens to the outside). Big enough to get my hand under. Some gnats in the room as a result. A rolled-up towel blocked it off (mostly). Maybe it was just that room. I’d still stay here again for that price, maybe not with a friend though.

This is an old motel, which shows it's age. I don't mind staying in older places as long as they are clean and comfortable. It was clean...the king size bed slept like a worn out mattress from a 30 year old fold out bed. TERRIBLE. TV sound did not work on some channels. We had to pay up front, otherwise would have looked for other accomodations with better bed.

I have literally never left a review of anything. But stay away from this place! I arrived late in the evening, slept, left early the next morning. Two days later I was charged an extra $200 for “breaking the tv.” I did not touch or even turn the tv. When speaking with the desk clerk said, “well I’m not going to go back and forth with you.” This place is a scam.

We found that the Silver Saddle is right in the middle of many of the local attractions. Our room was clean and well supplied with complimentary extras. This appears to be an older establishment, but the updates they are adding are keeping it current and comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful with various directions. We needed a quick nights rest after flying into Denver, headed to Pikes Peak. The Silver Saddle fit the bill. The breakfast was nice (waffle maker a plus) and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy, room was clean. The town there, Manitou Springs, was cute. We like it so much we stayed another night.

I love the location and view of Pikes Oeak snd Garden of the Gods. Waking distance to some restaurants, shops, parks and shuttle to Pikes Peak. Quick access by car to most attractions. Ice machine and continental breafast were convenient .

This is an older motel but the room I stayed in seemed to have been updated recently. It was very clean. I was here for the Pikes Peak races, as were a numbers of other folks. The staff normally serves breakfast at 7am but to accommodate the racers, they opened up breakfast at 4:30am! That was definitely going above and beyond.

The motel was easy to get to and the rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was the usual motel breakfast with a waffle maker and cereal, toast, bagels, donuts, fruit, coffee and juice. The pool had a stain around the top of the water all the way around the pool and we weren't sure what it was from, but other than that the kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. All in all, a nice motel for the price.

The room was immaculately clean. Every surface in the bath area was shining. The bedding was good and again looked immaculately laundered. The rooms are large. Plenty of towels. Complimentary soap, etc. It's old and dated but I just wanted a place to sleep and it was inexpensive. There is no breakfast until May and the pool was not filled.
