Once we figured out the entrance was behind the building as well as the main parking, all was fine. The parking was tight but for parking included in the Bronx, we were glad to be able to find a spot early in the evening every night.

This is a clean hotel, convenient to our destination. Accommodating staff and good breakfast and service. The location is very near I 95, so traffic can be an issue. Also, the parking lot adjacent to the hotel fills up and is crowded. They do provide parking at a garage nearby, which worked well.

After initially checking into the room the hotel concierge was too busy eating and finishing her food to check me in to start. I always check any room I stay in for cleanliness, upon initial Inspection there would bed bugs crawling all over the mattress…. I was bitten and immediately packed my belongings and left by 11pm. I would like a refund back. That stay was soooo disgusting!!!

Stayed here April 25th-27th 2024 the property was well kept and the staff was helpful and nice. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional. One of the nicest hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. Will be back to visit again.

Upon arrival the clerk seemed confused gave me one key for two people when asked for the second key he gave it but it was not activated. The room seemed cozy but noticed the hot tub had hair in it as well as the shower. The floor had sunflower seeds under the desk. While inspecting the bed I noticed dirt on the box spring as well as the floor. The amount paid for the room didn’t match the service, I notified the front desk the clerk said he’d send someone but no one arrived.

The night clerk had no idea how to operate the credit card machines and forced me to pay cash for my stay and my deposit. All night and all day long, the lobby was playing Xmas music loudly. The refrigerator in my room (Room 103), no matter what temperature setting it was on, completely froze everything that I put in it...my fruit was ruined and I had to drink sink water to take my medication because my bottle water was frozen after being in the "refrigerator," which was more like a freezer!! Finally, the parking lot is WAY TOO small, and the "additional" parking on the side of the hotel is even smaller! On the positive side, the room appeared to be clean and the furniture and decor was nice. I didn't bother to have breakfast on either day of my stay.

Beautiful and clean property/room. Jocelyn (front desk) was great. Got the Studio suite for my hunny’s birthday celebration, randomly assigned to the room with the heart shaped hot tub. It was perfect. Breakfast was good. No complaints!

The room itself was clean and decent. However, if you are put on the "C" level you will every single noise in the hallway. From the cleaning staff having very loud conversations right outside your door, to the tv in the breakfast area. C level is the basement so there were no windows either. I would not recommend for those that are claustrophobic.

I only hated the fact that as it was 11 o'clock the operator call to say hey its check out time despite us heading thru the room door 11:01 AM. I thought it was bad like see if we are truly going over even 11:05 but to call that quick seems unprofessional to me. Also the breakfast area need better instructions about how the breakfast is served because one of the server was rude about the plate for waffles being different from the plates for the egg and sausage and there was no instructions on what should be used for what.

I would say I had to wait some time for my reserved room. The front desk lady seemed frustrated and unsure of what she was doing. When she finally gave me a room it was in the Cellar, it felt like a closet and it wasn't cleaned!! I went back upstairs and told her why would she give me a room that wasn't ready. She didn't respond just took the key card. The supervisor Jocelyn was excellent at providing me a room that was cleaned and was on the first floor. She apologized for the inconvenience and was extremely courteous. THANK YOU Jocelyn!!!!!

Very clean looking hotel overall. The standout out for the hotel is the lady and the front desk. .. Joycelin.. she is very professional, kind, considerate… crème de la creme. I have been working in the tourism industry for over 35 years, have travelled worldwide and stayed in every category of hotel and I must say that this lady is the benchmark for professionalism and service.

The decor was acceptable. In need of upgrades to the shower stall which showed some mold. The refrigerator froze everything in it. All items placed in there at night were rock solid ice by morning. The manager was supposed to come to the room but never did. Was promised a call and as of 5 hours after checking out, no call. The bed wasn't soft nor were the pillows. The room was cleaned well in spite of the stains on the shower floor. The breakfast attendant Fanny was rude and disrespectful.

The check-in process was a nightmare, the receptionist could not find our reservation. We provided all the information re: conformation and all communications in regard to the booking. We had to wait over 45 mins. while she attempted to find our reservation; the problem was she was looking for the wrong name, even though we provided documentation with proper spelling as well as ID. Staff training is a corner stone of good customer service, this employee lacked the basic skill sets to be on the front line of your operation. Never an apology or an oops I just misunderstood or I don't know what I'm doing. 45 minutes is a very long time for a check in with reservation and confirmation (we actually called 24 hrs to confirm and our reservation was confirmed)! Where the disconnect happened we have no idea; but we strongly recommend a review of hiring practices and training protocols.

I stay here every time I visit NY which is a couple times a year. The staff, specifically Jocelyn, is the greatest! So sweet and caring! Really makes the whole experience worth it. This time around, it seemed like there was leaf blowing happening in the mornings around 9 or 10am so that kinda sucked hearing. The location is pretty convenient since it’s near to Bay Plaza.

Room was unusual - blue lights all around the base of the room - not an issue - just different. Breakfast was nice. You would not feel safe walking the area around the hotel at night. But then it is the Bronx, so it is probably normal.
