I stayed here with my daughters because they were looking for a hotel with a pool, and I was looking for one that didn't break the bank. -The price was reasonable. -The pool was pretty shallow but it did have a small waterslide that was fun for all 3 of us. -Big hot tub. -Very clean hotel. -Very clean room with amazing water pressure in the shower. -Great breakfast with plenty of options. Make your own waffles or pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cereal, muffins, yogurt, fruit, milk, coffee, juice. What more do I have to say? -Both front desk attendants were friendly and professional. -I was worried about the room being dark enough at night because there was a flood light pointed near our room to illuminate the hotel, but they thought of that and installed blackout shades!!! -Parking was easy and close and the location seemed very safe. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone and it will be our new go-to from now on in Fargo.

We stayed at this hotel because of the water slide for our granddaughter to use. It was broken. The hot tub also was not in service. When this was brought to the front desk, I was blown off and they did not seem to care and walked away from me.

This property exceeded our expectations and I don’t believe the pictures they have online do it justice. We booked a room with a living room, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The space was huge, clean, and updated. The breakfast bar was large, carefully maintained, and tasty. The pool had something for everyone. It was a great value for the money and will stay again if I’m in Fargo.

The hotel itself is dated and the pool and jacuzzi area wasn’t the cleanest. I don’t think the pool area has been cleaned in years. Black dirt or mold growing on the walls. It felt very unsanitary and we were scared to get into thr water. We stayed. 2 nights and on the first night, I didn’t realize Or was told that the cleaning staff only cleans the rooms every 3 days. Needless to say we were out of toilet paper and towels. Our garbage was full and I had to empty the garbages myself and I also made our beds. I phoned the front desk to ask them to bring towels and toilet paper. Another thing I noticed was that u can hear people running down the hall all hours of the night plus we had a dog barking in one of the rooms for about 4 hours due to the owners leaving this dog alone in a strange place. This went on till about 11:30 pm. I world give this hotel a 9 out of 10 rating for the continental breakfast that is included in your stay. Which was the best part of our stay.

Would not recommend. Very dirty/gross. Stains in the elevator and stains all over the room. Very nasty. There was also chunks of something on the bedskirt. Very tiny tv. And hair in the sink. It looks like the room was half cleaned. The people in the room next to us left at night and their room door had plastic and tape all over it so that's odd. Doors have no sound proofing so you can hear everything in the hallway.(kids screaming/crying.) Service was ok but it took an oddly long amount of time to pull up our reservation compared to most hotels. We needed a place to crash after the concert in town. I would not stay here again. I don't know how this place has good reviews. The quality of this place does not reflect what the reviews said.

I used to recommend this place to everyone but the cleaning is nothing to be desired, dirty sheets, blood on the wall and hair all over the floor. The air handler squealed like crazy and the night time staff has a bad attitude. Left out last night and went to a good hotel.

Inside the property was ok. Staff were unfriendly and dismissive when shortcomings were pointed out. The outside was the main problem. Fargo, ND received 3-4 inches of snow the day before our stay. The snow wasn't cleared from sidewalks making it very unsafe to walk for our car. The parking lot was unplowed and slippery. I'm handicapped and had trouble parking and getting from my vehicle to the lobby. There was cigarette butts and what appeared to be blood frozen just outside the entry door.

The tv didn’t work, came to fix it forgot to tell the maintenance man he wouldn’t come back the next morning only fixed one not the other. Elevator didn’t work! Internet was awful couldn’t get on extremely sloowww Just not pleased. Nice room loved it.

Nice large room. TVs have the resolution of a potato but oh well... Excellent breakfast with lots of options and space to eat. Pool is smaller but water slide was lots of fun for the kids. Would stay here again.

My stay was comfortable but I could not help but notice the rooms are a bit dated and run down. i.e. worn carpeting, old light fixtures, worn out usb charging ports, and undersized, olderTV's in the rooms. The quality of the breakfast offerings are also a bit sub par. I stay in a lot of hotels and I would expect a bit more effort put in for the above $100/night price point. On the plus side, I did appreciate the amenities store offerings. A+ there.

1. My key cards did not work. I had to make 4 trips from the front desk to the 3rd floor to front desk to resolve it. I don't fault the friendly staff for the technical issues. But coming to the room to confirm resolution of the issue sooner would have been appreciated. 2. Our room smelled like chemical detergents trying to cover up that Sunday morning college dorm room smell. Replacing the carpet, drapes, and furnishings would help. 3. You couldn't pay me to eat that free breakfast. The "bold" strength coffee was so weak you could see the bottom of the 12oz cup. Processed scrambled "eggs" instead of real eggs. The breakfast sausages were basically sliced hotdogs. Pancake/waffle syrup was brown colored corn syrup. The artificial butter substitute wouldn't even melt on the pancakes. On a positive note, the automated pancake dispenser is genius!

Great stay! Hard to find hotels with jacuzzi tubs in the rooms these days plus an electric fireplace! Clean and large rooms, only disappoint is that the rooms are not sound proof enough. You can hear everything around your room, especially if other guests kids are loud. It wouldn’t be bad if it was muffled but it was so clear in all directions.

My reservation for a two room suite was not available, or not honored by this property. The check in clerk initially stated that is was a housekeeping error. After discussing, it was then attributed to the third party booking through Travelocity. We were then offered a two queen room connected by door, and they were not clean!!! After a third try, by unlocking and physically checking each set of rooms, she found an acceptable, and clean set of rooms. This was the worst check in, I have ever experienced by far.

Front desk was very polite and helpful. We had stayed on 2nd floor and the room above ours was very very noisy, I think had a bunch of kids in it, I had to call the front desk twice after the quiet hrs but they handled it so we could get some sleep.

The staff was amazing when we had a family emergency and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Room was great and more than hospitable, and clean. Easily accessible and close to several shops and venues.

The front desk never seemed to have anyone sitting at it, but with a little coaxing service was quick to follow. It was extremely disappointing to discover that there were NO TOWELS at the pool. There needed to be a more active PRESENT staff. Yes, the place is older & showing its age. The breakfast was great. The staff when you saw them were super!

Had a horrible time. Was accused of having a party. When i wasn't i have a large family and wanted to visit. Was told we couldn't have food in the room. When they have microwave and fridge in the rooms. Why would food not be allowed? I did let the kids swim in the pool and as soon as everyone was tired of the pool. We left that same day at about 9:30 pm. Did not feel very comfortable staying there so we left. Will not stay here again!

We booked here because it is pet friendly. We were driving from Washington to Wisconsin. When checking in, the young girl told me dogs were not allowed. Then said she had to call her manager about my dogs. She said she would have to charge me 60 additional dollars. I made the reservation online and paid in advance. I also spoke to the owner via hotels.com and let them know we had dogs and requested a first floor room. I understand they can't accommodate all requests. The girl told me no to the request and put us in the middle on the second floor. Then told me there is only the front door to go in and out of. Which we found two side doors, where the dog waste bags are located. She was extremely rude at check-in and it was unacceptable. Upon checkout I let the gentleman know, and he said I would not be charged the $60.00. They ended up charging me the $60.00. I'm glad others had a good experience here, but this is not a place I would visit again.

We found this hotel due to another hotel completely misplacing 4 of our reservations ‘ did nothing to help us. The AmericInn helped us with short notice & we booked the balance of our reservations with them. It is a nice hotel, with nice rooms, in a good area, with lots of choices for breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel for one night while visiting our daughter, who is a college student in the area. Check in and check out was quick and easy. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast in the morning was a disappointment. They ran out of most of the food. The woman working continental breakfast was basically standing around and not working. She restocked tortillas for breakfast burritos, but there were no eggs. There was no milk for cereal, no juice. Really, they ran out of many things by 8 am and never refilled it and we were told we were out of luck.

I really wanted to give this hotel a 5 star. I stayed in the suite. 2 bedrooms. Gorgeous. Private bathroom. Kitchen. Huge living room. But ..the kitchen had nothing to eat with. The shower was extremely slippery with no pressure and breakfast never had beverages other than 2% milk. The juice machine was broken but they never seemed to care to keep the orange juice container full. Other than that this hotel was amazing and I would stay here again if I visited Fargo.

They were doing a lot of updating during our trip. They were painting the pool deck but during the night so the pool could remain open which we appreciated. The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast have a lot a variety.
