Outside pool area needed attention. Hot tub wasn’t working for the whole stay ( no heat, water was cooler than the pool) and hotel umbrella wasn’t secured in it holder and flew out into the pool on top of us. Food wasn’t available outside.

The parking unexpectedly cost $33/day. The machine didn’t work properly in the lot. Some of the shops in the hotel lobby took cash and others only took credit cards. While others accepted a charge to your room. The shuttle to Universal was not available after the morning rush r during lunchtime to return. I have asked for an itemized receipt but never received one. The staff was nice.

The room was nice and spacious, with a fridge but no microwave. A cozy lounge chair as well as a rolling office chair made it easy to have conversations with others in the room. There were tables and chairs available in the lobby as well as the outside courtyard to gather with others. The beds were very comfortable, with a nice clean bathroom that offered plenty of counterspace, as well as multiple outlets. The pool was very warm, but clean. There were a lot of people at the pool, but it felt big enough that I didn't feel like it was crowded. There is also a nice splashpad for the kids and a large hot tub. Self-serve laundry facilities were conveniently located and easy to use as well. Several food options are available right at the hotel. The food there was very good, but also pretty pricey. If you need a cheaper food option, we found that CityWalk had the cheapest food options around. There was a free shuttle available to the Universal parks, which was super easy to schedule and use. The park was also close enough to walk when the shuttle times didn't quite work with our schedule. We had a great stay here!

We have stayed many times. The food is great, the pool is AMAZING, and the staff is incredible. Seriously, the staff are genuinely lovely people. They keep the property in good repair. Nothing is ever broken. The onsite Starbucks is a real Starbucks with full offerings.

Front desk was very friendly giving us a cookie and bottles of water. The American Grill had excellent food and our server was very good as well. The power was out when we checked into the hotel so that was kind of an issue in the beginning but we still got our room before 4:00. Our only complaint was that the water in the pool was way too warm. Not refreshing at all. I know it’s hot in Florida but some places have cooling systems for their pools and the doubletree should invest in one. The hotel itself is a bit tired and in need of some updating including the common areas, rooms and bathrooms. Overall we had a nice time and our primary reason for visiting was to go to Universal Parks. The hotel provided transportation to and from the parks, just wish the shuttle went back n forth all day long instead of just certain times.

Hotel was good but the parking was not. They charged $33 a night and the gates never worked with the room card. Had to always ring the front desk for them to open it always. Elevators were slow especially the day I was leaving and had a deadline. Other then that it was good

We booked this hotel due to convienence of proximity to Universal Parks. What a mistake! Hotel is outdated and needs some major upgrades. Parking is 33 daily and they offer shuttle to parks, but only runs three times and limited runs in evening. The carpets in room are filthy, our room smelled musty and of cigar smoke, and the shower head was loose on wall and spraying water. The lobby smells old. I could go on and on. We arrived a little early ahead of check in, room was not ready until over an hour and fifteen minutes at suggested check in time, which was 4pm. I never did get a call or text that room was ready as I was told. I had to go back up to desk and ask. My husband and son, had early entry for HHN and had to go to parks without ability to shower after 17 hour card ride. It is not anywhere near worth the price. Oh, breakfast Buffett is $30 a person.

Upon arrival, the room appeared decent. However, we quickly realized the bathroom had no vent which in turn meant black moldy-mildewy spotting on the walls and in the shower. Unfortunately, we will not be staying here in the future.

Unfortunately upon arrival our room was not clean. When we opened the room door it smelled mildewy & the air condition unit was dripping.. Then when we went into the bathroom we found small black hairs all over the shower. Our TV in the room was broken & only 2 out of our 5 outlets worked lol. It was super disappointing to the point we considered switching to a different hotel. It was also disappointing bc I picked it specifically based off the decent reviews it had. Maybe it was just a dud & the rest of their property is clean but I can confirm I will never stay there again.

Our room was nicely, clean and well kept. The lobby and all other areas were as well. I love the fact that the housekeeping services are phenomenal! We had fresh clean sheets and towels every day, and our beds were made spectacularly! I wanted to leave a tip for them, but could not find them at the end of the day when I returned to my room. The warm Doubletree chocolate chip cookies are just an added bonus.!!!

The hotel itself is clean and modern, however the rooms are dated. Our room had a broken door to the fridge and a broken mattress protector. I asked to have them looked at but after a long day out, neither had been fixed - and remained broken for 2 days until I checked out. Additionally the air conditioning unit was very loud all night.

Stay was good nothing special. Check was great one hour early no issues . Beds uncomfortable mattesss cover had holes in it in the sides . Noisy bed sheets. Room as clean and everything worked as it should . Large pool,Starbucks on site and food till 11pm Bar looked packed every night . See decent stay .

Just need some tech upgrades and shower/bathroom. You should be able to cast your phone onto the tv. The showers should not be football high school locker room showers with no privacy. The walls are very thin. Smells old. Decent stay since it’s close to park but time for an update.

Most services on the property were close to room’s and I received a room near elevator as I requested. This was very helpful. However, I couldn’t reach front desk by phone. There was no information about food establishments. I didn’t get a printed receipt for room at checkout. I did ask for and received parking receipt but it was an enormous amount of $33 per day. They did not provide room receipt. There wasn’t any communication with hotel staff or front desk.

We were only scheduled to stay in this property for one night. Our flight was supposed to land in Orlando at approximately 7:00. We were heavily delayed, and didn’t arrive in Orlando/at the hotel until 5:00 AM. Had contacted staff and they checked us in virtually and after we arrived extended late check out to 12:30 for us, allowing us some extra sleep after a long day of delays. VERY appreciated.

First time staying at this property, the staff was very rude, and unprofessional. Everyone look like they were having a bad day. It was very dirty and dated, no one answers the phone at the reception desk. Housekeeping doesn’t clean the room regularly, and 1 day our room did not have any water, and we had issues with toilet the entire vacation. The elevator was horrible, at least one or two was not working at times. I did speak to the manager 1 day, but not much was done. I was told that I would be given points for the inconvenience, but as of now still nothing. Starbucks was no better, everyone there was rude, no smile at all. They have a Very nice pool, but the pool bar is a joke. Overpriced with watered drinks. Seems like the staff at this hotel just hates their job. We did get very good food and service at the sunshine Café for breakfast, and also the pizza shop. Location is good, especially if you’re planning on going to Universal, which is walking distance. But if you’re looking for good service with a pleasant staff, that care's about your stay, that’s clean and in good working condition avoid this location.

I've stayed at a couple Double Trees so happily booked this one, but now wish I hadn't. The air-conditioning sounded like a water feature inside the wall and the ceiling in the shower leaked almost as much as the showerhead when the water turned on. I tried multiple times to get hold of front desk from my room but never got through to anyone. It also took me far too long to find out that a service the hotel supposedly offered, they actually didn't and only found out from their AI assistant. So overall, a pretty disappointing stay.

I want to start by saying the staff at the Sunshine Café were outstanding, as were the team and bartender at the American Grill—truly exceptional service. The beds and pillows were also fairly comfortable. That said, I’m giving a three-star review for the following reasons: 1. When I tried to reach the front desk, I was met with an AI system that struggled to understand my request. Eventually, it said I would be connected to a real person, but no one ever answered. 2. I attempted to order room service multiple times with no response. 3. I went down to the front desk to share my concerns and was told the food and beverage manager would call our room. That call never came. 4. Housekeeping was subpar—trash was left behind, and overall tidiness was lacking. 5. Given Hilton’s reputation and the price point, the rooms and carpeting are due for an upgrade. Lastly, I miss the convenience of an in-room folder listing hotel services and contact numbers. Relying solely on QR codes for basic information is inconvenient and impersonal. I believe Hilton can do better.

Front office staff was very professional. Arrived at hotel at 4:00pm didn't get checked into my room until after 10:00pm line was extremely long with only two workers working the front desk also the roof was leaking in the lobby.

This is the perfect location for Universal. About 15 or 20 min walk in on a pedestrian walk way. Driving is like 4 minutes. Hotel is clean, walk is safe. Hotel has ameneties but we always stay just to go Universal.

My stay was not only comfortable and immaculate, but every single one of the staff was friendly, helpful, and on point. From the Bell Hops Kip and Dan, the wonderful staff of the Sunshine Cafe, who delivered the best breakfast buffet I've had at a hotel in years, to the clerks who checked me in and the bartender of the American Grill. All of you deserve a raise! The room was also wonderful, with a great view, very clean and well stocked, it was the best stay I've had in years. I will certainly return the next time I am in the area!

The all you can eat breakfast for 29.99. The food is great. The omelet was perfect friendly environment. Also they have a starbucks and a bar. AND UNLIMITED COOKIES DELICIOUS.

Obviously location is one of the biggest pro. Staff were very friendly and provided great service. Bell desk employees not so friendly (didn’t look happy) but did his job. Hotel is a bit outdated but no issues on that. Very clean. The restaurant (American Grill) did not meet my expectations, the one and only negative during my stay. Overcooked fried chicken, tater tots were not crispy (as if were reheated), a big disappointment after a long day at Universal, truly a bummer. We were craving for some good quality food. After that ordered DoorDash and Uber eats for the rest of my stay. Complementary cookies were nice.
