Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites DFW West - Hurst by IHG

Check in was great but when I got to the room there was trash still in the trash cans both in the actual room and in the bathroom. Hot tub does not work which was a little disappointing. Breakfast was amazing and my kids loved that there were little Nutella packets in the line up for breakfast. We ended up leaving a blanket there and I called them right away and they got my information so that they could mail it back. Definitely would go back if I’m in the area

Room was clean but had an unusual odor. Recently renovated so carpet smell? Gym was only one stationary bike in mid renovation. Pool closed for renovations. Excellent breakfast and staff.

Had quite a bit of trouble with the key cards, many times we could not access the side doors because the cards would not work. And we had the same problem trying to access the fitness center. The rooms were neat and clean and the staff was extremely courteous!

We enjoyed our stay. And would return. My only complaint is there are tons of mosquitoes in the indoor pool area and it seems as though no one cleans the pool area there was left over food crumbs on one of the tabels for our entire stay. Also the water didnt seem very clean there were non identified objects floating around in the water. But our room was clean and tidy. The air conditioner worked great. The shower had plenty of hot water and pressure. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We really like staying here and breakfast was absolutely great. We had a couple of issues we encountered during our stay. There were two of the front desk people we had interacted with were unfriendly and Kurt with us. It felt like we had interrupted her evening just trying to check in for our stay. The other counter member seemed put off that we had requested a set of fresh towels since we had not had our room serviced one of the days we were there. (We had forgotten to remove the DND sign). Additionally, the floor lamp in the room was missing a light bulb so it was unusable, as was the desk lamp which only had one bulb instead of two. Furthermore, on the first night of our stay the bathroom ceiling light flickered out, which was still fine because of the two available wall sconces in the bathroom. However, on the second night, one of the sconces burnt out leaving only one sconce still lit. The bathroom was dark, the sitting room was dark and desk area was dark. Other than that, everyone else was great and their breakfast host was absolutely delightful and kept the breakfast area well stocked and very clean. She definitely needs a raise! We did have an issue with the pool being out of service one of the days of our stay but that was corrected the next day and the children managed to enjoy some pool time. We will definitely be booking this hotel again based on location, hotel amenities, and most of the staff we interacted with. Hopefully the lights work!

Very nice place to stay for a week. The breakfast was very good. I was able to do laundry, because of long stay there, which helped. Very close to mall and other stores.

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and had to two doubles and king. Great hotel for the price. Highly recommend if you have a group.

Primary issue was the room cleanliness. The toilet seat looked horrid. There was yellowing and stains all over. It really needs to be replaced. If that was not enough. The carpet was so dirty my toddler's feet were black from walking on it and socks stained. If I remember correct the room number is 213.

This was not a typical Holiday Inn Express Hotel was dirty with very distinct musky “motel” smell Fitness room was filthy with only half of the equipment working Carpet in room was filthy and stained Very disappointed I usually trust Holiday Inn Express

Everything was great! The staff was nice! The room was clean. Great location. And the breakfast was great!

The only issue we had was that we found a Cockroach in our room. Talked to the night manager and she got us into a nicer new room.

Nice location, pretty close to the airport. A little dated inside, but good-sized room. Beds were NOT queen size, as advertised.

The queen suites were amazing. Lots of extra room. The hotel is amazing. They have great options for breakfast too. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The room was nice One thing was very much needed, more light in the room. I suggest a large lamp (floor lamp) behind the corner chair. Also, enforcement of quiet hours. Twice in the wee hours of the morning 12:00am-3:00am, people were very loud in the hallways

Everything was great up until we checked out. The young lady looked like she was upset. No greeting, no thank you, no hospitality. The young man that was there when we checked in was a delight.

Front desk clerks Tyrone & Pamela were super Great. Kudos to those guy's, it was nothing they didn't try to do for my husband and zi to make our stay wonderful. Thanks again

Had a problem with shower, and they sent up a technician within about 15 minutes. He solved the problem, and was very courteous.

Poor service, two night stay, and they didn't clean our room once! no change of towels or make the bed... poor Breakfast, I will not come back ever

No staff in lobby when you need them. I called sever times from our room and no answerer. Staff in lobby not very friendly. Only person that greeted us in a friendly manner was the lady in that worked in the cafeteria. I will not stay in this hotel again.

Second time we have stayed here when coming for medical appointments. It does not disappoint and the same gentleman, i want to say Cameron may be his name i really tried to remember, but he is just the NICEST ever and I was so glad to see him the second time.

My room was clean, the beds we’re comfortable, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of dining options very close. Didn’t hear any noise at night despite having a room that faces the highway. I’d stay here again.

Hotel staff were very accomadating with our late-arrival check-in, and when we needed addition sheets and towels, they were very helpful! Very friendly and helpful staff, and the kitchen staff were very nice and offered us a tray as we were taking our breakfast up to the room! Hotel location was also very convenient with restaurants, gas stations and stores in close proximity! Would definitely stay here again!

Great staff, they did an excellent job meeting our needs! Location was excellent easy on off to freeway and ten miles from my sister's house whom I was visiting.

The customer service representatives were really nice and helpful. The best part with a quick trip turn around was the continental breakfast. We have stayed at a lot of hotels and this by fast is the e best when it comes to breakfast

Always stay here when visiting the area. Very convenient to everything. Great breakfast, especially when they serve the little omelets and bacon. The weekday kitchen breakfast worker is very nice.

Everything was neat and clean. The unit was stocked with a generous amount of toiletries and the complementary breakfast was wonderful.

We always stay here when we come to Tx to see the kids. Clean & comfortable facility. While I appreciate the breakfast, it needs to be warmer & pls don’t serve any more burned bacon. Also on This trip, our key was turned off too soon. So that’s a bummer.

I hope I remember this hotel for my next booking when we’re in that area again! The buffet style breakfast was good as well.
