Stayed 2 nights

We were excited to start our long weekend on Friday, but some staff communication resulted to in us and not realizing there was in room dining that could be picked up at the bar. We asked if there was room service and we were told no. On our second night we ordered the in room food service saw the whole process through on the TV. It said to come down to the bar in 30 to 45 minutes, after going down to the bar to pick up our food we were told that the order never made it to the restaurant. We then replaced our order and waited another 45 minutes for dinner. On our last night, we had to change rooms. Happy to discuss that further if anyone is interested. On the bright side, the view was really beautiful.

The staff was pleasant and professional however, there are a few issues which were preventable or could've been handled better. 1) I spoke to housekeeping about getting my room refreshed and was told by the housekeeper that was not her room, but she let the person know, the room was never refreshed. Brought it to the attention of the front desk and was told short staffed chances are it would not happen and it didn't. Asked for extra towels, and one of the towels I received was so thin, it looked like a strainer. The toilet would not flush properly. I reported it and the fix was noi better. Overall, the rooms and bathrooms were nice but could do with upgrades and this should also include the carpet throughout the hotel. The restaurant food was good and the hotel is conveniently located. I would stay here again hoping they get the above corrected.

The location and the view for this hotel was very great. The things that this hotel lacked was that the hotel room bathtub was dirty. There was hair where you place your soap in the bathtub. The room was hot. I even notified the front desk and they said they did not have any fans and I called Hotels.com to get a refund and woke up in the middle of the night two or three times still hot after the maintenance man supposedly came to fix the air. I have a claim to get my money back through Hotels.com spending this amount of money on a room. The room should be nice and cool especially when you’re on vacation even if you’re not, it should still be cool was not up to standards. I like the area but I could sit out back and watch the Delaware River from a bench I would not stay there again.

There were blood droplet stains on our comforters for both beds that we noticed as we were leaving. The cleaning people were always hiding in the hallways looking at their phones. There were adults jumping into the pool and being very loud and no one came to check.
