The hallway rugs are in terrible condition. They need replacing. Staff is cleaning them as best they can. Lamp in 309 desk needs to be replaced. I reported it twice. Even asked for a light bulb. But that did not fix it. Breakfast was good; my favorite meal.

Honestly, your saving grace was the hotel staff and that good heat! Other than that, it was hard to swallow. You could smell the odor in the bathroom even with the door closed, but it magnified when the door was opened. There were only two outlets working. The faucet sat so far back on the sink that you had to turn the water on full force just so your hands wouldn't have to rub up against the sink each time you washed your hands. I have a picture of the mold on the sink and the live bug that was on my mattress when I pulled the bed away from the wall. What made me look was when I was in the fitness room, I spotted two bugs, one on the ceiling and one on the wall. The fitness room has been neglected. There's dust and dirt everywhere! Is that enough to get a refund?

This will be the last time I stay at any choice hotel if this hotel is a representation. The carpet in the hallways were disgusting and torn had I not been in town for a funeral I would have been at a much higher class hotel.

It was very peaceful and the cleaning ladies came everyday ontime!! They had a good selection of breakfast down stairs!! Staff was really nice and helpful and the parking was good!! We enjoyed our stay

Booked a room with two beds, upon checking in the person in the front desk wanted to give me a room with a king size bed I told him that would not work for me and I needed the two beds. He was finally able to get me the room with two beds I needed. The entire facility is filthy, gross and unsanitary. The waiting area has old and filthy chairs, the carpet in the entire 3rd floor is old and stained. The bathroom in our room was stained, and the toilet had a water leak. The valance sheets on the beds were stained with I want to think dried food from previous guests but could be other things. The hotel offers breakfast however the breakfast area is super small, only has one waffle maker and the AC was not working when I was there. Overall, it was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, I could’ve stayed at a lower end hotel for the same type of experience. I’d rather sleep in my car than stay at this hotel in the future.

If you have a choice to stay here or stay in your car, stay in your car. The staff has the worst attitude. The carpet in the hallway is disgusting. They didn't clean the room, didn't refresh towels and then got an attitude when we asked for new towels. And they own the Comfort Inn right beside the Sleep Inn so don't stay there either. The floors in the room is the dirtiest I have ever seen. The beds are comfortable tho, after u empty a whole can of Lysol on them. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The room was extremely dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. There was a crack pipe between the mattress and the box spring, nasty marks on the mattress and covers, food still in the fridge from previous customers. Just overall nasty. I ended my time there after 2 hours and checked into a new hotel

Black mold in the bathroom and when I told the hotel, they told me to “cover it with the mat”. Super unacceptable. Checked in for 30 min and checked right out. The hotel was unclean and smelled bad as well.

No staff complaints just that the property is listed as “soundproof” and I could hear my neighbors tv through the walls and floors and there was some guests that were shouting in the hallway at 11pm. Air conditioning unit while running was very loud that it almost made it hard to sleep.

The hotel is adequate. The rooms have been given a recent facelift (new furniture, linens, a laminate floor) but the bathroom was dated, the shower door didn’t close properly, and so water sprayed all over the floor. The pillows were really inadequate and not comfortable at all. The doors (all the ones I encountered) throughout the hotel were visibly dirty. The front desk staff were super nice at both check in/out.

We felt that our interaction with the staff was good. The first floor room was unpleasant. The floor was very hard and not clean. The rolling chair had a broken roller. The shower curtain was not adequate to keep the water in the shower. We don’t plan to stay there again.

This hotel needs a lot of repairs and updating. I’ve stayed at the other Sleep Inn and this was the most outdated one I ever been too. And my toilet didn’t start working until the morning. First and last time ever staying in this location in Lansing. I usually stay at the Oakbrook location.

Front Desk Clerk Raven was very helpful. She made sure that the type of room I requested was saved for my late check in. The actual room was great. I didn't like the lockers, filthy worn out carpeting, and cigarette odor in the hallway where my room was. Handicapped patrons, especially those that have resipatory issues shouldn't have to be put in this type of environment just to have access to a first-level room. Apparently the Sleep Inn has a contract with a railroad company and gave it's employees the first level of the hotel, where the handicapped-friendly rooms are also located.
