Elevator did not work and I was on the 3rd floor. Also appeared to be blood stains on the carpet. Staff was friendly. Gym had broken and missing equipment. Walls were thin and could hear noise from other rooms.

This might have been hands now the WORST stay at a hotel I have ever encountered in my life…. My back is still recovering from walking up and down the stairs because I was put on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Didn’t find this out until I checked in, I mean you’d think there would be a discount offered considering the circumstances…. First thing walking to my room There was trash EVERYWHERE on the floor, all McDonald’s wrappers, drink bottles etc.. not to mention a $75 deposit, thinking back on it my mind was blown and it kind sucks I had to stay there… that laundry app is a fraud, I spent $6 right away on two washers that didn’t work and I clicked that the washers had an issue on the app…

Shower body wash container was empty. Hall and stair carpets were quite stained and dirty. Empty cardboard boxes were piled up at the ends of the hallways. Perhaps this is more common than I realize, but this is the only hotel I have ever stayed at that charged extra for parking in its open-air lot.

The property was clean. The room was nice with a kitchenette. There was no pool. The elevator was not working. I was advised that a $15.00 fee would be added for checking in early. (45 minutes). There were additional fees for parking $5.00 per night.

We’ve stayed at Sonesta Suites prior and this location does not live up to the quality expectation. Between barking dogs and fire alarms, sleep was lacking. The facilities are fairly clean but very old. Some kitchen amenities but limited. No information given at check in concerning WiFi, gym has heavy weight options, no pool, no breakfast.

Pro: I quite enjoyed how convenient the location was . There were many options for shopping malls, and restaurants. Cons : I did not like the smell of the hotel room. Nor did i enjoy the company of roaches crawling on the walls and bathroom. The water pressure for showering should be fixed as well as the smell of the towels given. There was also ALOTTTTT of hair all over my bathroom floor,tub,sink ,table, kitchen, and bed. It was disgusting. This hotel has potential to be great but has alot of improvements to be done.

Our first room was filthy and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. There were large black stains on the rug. We called the desk and were moved to another room. Second room looked like someone was already staying in it, which was quite alarming. But the desk agent assured us that was not the case. The bed looked like someone had been sleeping in it, there were dirty towels and a used glass in the bathroom, and the toilet seat was up. Turns out the room had not been cleaned. It was 9:45pm and they had no other rooms. The desk attendant brought up new bedding and made up the bed. He wiped things down but there were no vacuum cleaners, toilet brushes, or anything else involved but fresh bedding and some wiping up in the bedroom and bathroom. No iron or ironing board. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work. It didn't feel clean, and we didn't want to stay, but it was late and we were checking out in the morning. Also, the hotel is set back from the road, which is fine but we had trouble actually finding it. The parking lot could have been better lit. The hotel was 2 days away from a big renovation and carpet had already been stripped from the hallway baseboards and there was debris and lots of staining. It was unsettling. Highly recommend you find another place to stay.

I would like a refund. My room was filthy. I have photos to prove it. There was pubic hair, and urine all over the bathroom, sink was full of hair , too. Bacon in the corner of the room. Very dirty. I'm happy to provide photos. I would like the charge reversed please

The carpet in the hallway was damaged and stained and the carpet in the room smelled really bad. The room was clean but definitely needed maintained, there was rust and mold. A centipede also crawled out of the sink on the last day and there were dead bugs in the window seal. Their customer service was great though.

Front desk agent was incredible, but the room wasn’t the best shape, there were stains all over the couches and both nights I stood here I did not use the shower because it wasn’t hot and the people directly upstairs from my room were abusively fighting allllllll night and we couldn’t get proper sleep. Woke up every hour and rushed to go home Smh.

Pros: Suite was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Decent water pressure in the shower. Outstanding location close to shopping and dining, and a quick drive into Boston. Cons: Furniture is shabby and needs to be replaced. Walls and ceilings seem to be made of cardboard. The guests in the room above us stomped like a herd of elephants and kept dropping what sounded like bowling balls until 2 AM.

Walls are pretty thin. Sometimes there's a wait for front desk staff, but they're very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and bed quite comfortable .Parking convenient. Maybe bring earplugs?

Very frustrating "water saving"showerhead. Water flow is so restricted, I had to triple my shower time, to rinse off the soap used during shower. VERY low water flow. The old fashioned thru the wall type A/C and Heat was quite noisy, as it came on, and went off.. again and again. Lots of compressor noise, and fan noise. For the first 2 days, I was either hot or cold. The thermostat on the wall, was just there for show, as after two days, I just shut it off, and only used the thermostat on the A/C heat unit. Silly. That thermostat appeared not to be connected to the A/C unit at all. Wi Fi was difficult to connect to. Tv "cable" or whatever it was, had no "Guide" that I could find..on the TV or a printed one. So, the overall rating was not too harsh, as the price was good for a unit with good kitchen amenities ... full size fridge, microwave, ice maker, even a dish washer, for a reasonable price

I had a very decent stay. No complaints. Room was spacious and comfortable. I would say they need to update their TVs. It's 2024. A basic smart TV is almost cheaper than a quick grocery run.

Miss Kate of the Front Desk was lovely and made check-in especially smooth! I enjoyed my stay before but now after the renovation it was even better! Clean rooms, the scents throughout the hotel were clean and welcoming, plenty of parking and close to everything! Will definitely revisit.

First of all, the hotel was under construction and no one told me that! I drove up to a hotel after driving four hours to see huge garbage disposal bins outside, floor a mess, paint spotted on walls, men painting. Then I asked if early check in was available and they said no, that only one floor was open now due to construction. Then I said no one told me that! They did not care and showed no empathy. It was 95 degrees just wanted to shower before evening conference. Then we returned at 1045 to go to room and hall ways stunk… a terrible chemical smell even on our floor. We got to room and room still smelled. Then I opened up cabinet to get a glass out and the glass smelled like the chemical smell. I asked the front desk for a plastic cup because all the cups and silverware smelled… they said no we don’t have any, we are under construction! What a disaster!! Then that night someone in the floor fell out of their bed… perhaps died it was so loud. I almost called 911 but I heard little feet walking around the room after the fall! Found they to be quite ironic because the guy that checked us in initially said there is no third floor. I have multiple pictures to show - that give a great description of what the hotel was like. I will be doing many more business trip and college tours in the area but will never go to this place again. I would like a full refund of my stay!

I stayed at this hotel from April 7 - September 18, 2024. My mom, 2 cats and myself. We were homeless. The accommodations are ok, the property is dated but will be getting a much needed face lift I'm told by the end of this year. The staff - Kate, Neil and Chris from the sales department. Everything was great until they screwed me out of the excise tax you are supposed to receive back from the hotel after staying for 90 days. I have been trying to get my taxes back for 2 months now. I still didn't receive my money back from Sonesta. I called the Corporate office, nothing; they referred me back to Kate the Assistant General Manager of the Burlington mass property. Now I don't even get a response to my emails anymore. The hotel staff had explicit directions on how to charge my payments to the credit card. I was charged 2 times a couple of times. If you are staying at the hotel for 90 days or more? Get your taxes back because they will not return them to you even though it's the law. I'll keep you posed on my quest to get my money back.

The front desk lady had no clue what she was doing. I check in and they had me for the wrong room. Then I had to wait to buy when the manager came in. The manager was very nice and knew what she was doing . Things were broken in the room. The tv channel suck

Great location near the Burlington Mall and a bunch of good restaurants. Walking distance to all of them. Place was good they are doing upgrades which is good. Rooms were spacious and clean. AC could use an update. Bathroom was good. Shower had good water pressure. Service was friendly and responsive. A bit far from the city though a 30 min ride isn’t horrible though the traffic can suck at times going into Boston. Over all a good inexpensive place to stay.

It was a good value for the room rate, met my expectations. A little disappointed there was no safe in the room, and hotel was difficult to find. Property set back from street address; better signage would be helpful. GPS landed me at adjacent property. Very pleased with staff, was befriended by long-term guests, that was very heartwarming during a difficult trip

Without GPS, property was VERY difficult to find. It is not directly accessible from its address at 130 Middlesex Turnpike. One had to locate the little driveway into the property after approaching it from the back of the facility. Suggest new driveway off of Middlesex Turnpike and general facelift for the Suites. Entrance area is small and dark. Definitely a budget hotel, operating with a skilled welcoming staff. Overall, staff was extremely accommodating and made a stay (under otherwise stressful conditions) quite tolerable.

Very good deal for the price. Local to many shops and eateries. My only wish is that they offered any kind of continental breakfast, even coffee! Also, when we were packing the car, the cleaning lady opened our door while our belongings were still there and handled our stuff which bothered us. It was pretty obvious people were still occupying the space, as we had our bags, jackets and travel mugs laying in wait for us. Other than that, front desk was nice and room was nice. Only 28 minutes outside of Salem (without traffic). Overall pleasant stay.

Parking is easy. Rooms are a good size but are showing wear, bathroom area had some permanent spots on the sink and shower, the bedcover had some permanent marks on it. Would be nice if they had a purified bottle filler fountain in the lobby, maybe some coffee, there too.

Overall, a decent and clean property with easy access to nearby Lahey Medical Center, my reason for stay. While a bit dated (no USB connections, worn furniture), the kitchen facilities in the room allowed me to prepare meals and not rely on fast food.
