Extended Stay America Suites - Boston - Burlington

For an extended stay with a kitchenette, there was no kitchenware supplied. Not even a coffee maker. I asked for the coffee maker. It was broken. Towels were skimpy. The supposed breakfast was instant oatmeal, nutrigrain bars and burry muffins. With coffee - a single dispenser. Soda machine did not work until it magically did a software reboot. Elevator out of service.

I would not stay here again. I didn’t feel safe even though the hotel is in a relatively good area. The room needed some work. There was concern that there was a reserved space for the police.

whole floor is smells trash and rooms smells bad and carpet have stains and marks, checking out right away

Broken beer bottles in parking lot, shade in room needs to be updated.

I was suprised property moved from last time i stayed.Initally ypung girl check me in was good.However after that staff were cold like i was incoviencing them when i asked for something ..phone and stopper in sink broken said they would fix And never did.Outside of building and grounds looked good and plenty of parking.New location doesn't have gym.After staying at ESA for years in Burlington not sure ill be coming back. and never did.extended was the

This is a good value. I liked the amenities in the room - mini kitchen that included a full sized fridge, microwave and cooktop. The wood floor made it feel cleaner than carpet. However, the hallways had dingy feeling carpets and a bad odor. I had to hold my breath every time I walked out of the room.

Bed bugs discusting building. Period.. board of health need to come out...!

The room and overall was very dirty. The floor was sticky, and there was residue on the nightstand from something spilled and not cleaned very well. I put a towel on it before putting any on my belongings on it.

Disgusting. Tv didn’t work, every surface filthy. Smelled terrible.

Very comfy bed. Room was not clean. Hair and dust balls scattered on the floor. Only one plastic cup found under the sink. Bathtub and bathroom floor were filthy.

This was the worst hotel I have ever set foot in. It was falling apart and absolutely filthy. The halls stank so badly that I wanted to hold my breath.

The hotel is very dirty in general but the rooms and bathrooms are extremely dirty

The room was dirty. Bathroom wasn’t clean and stains on the pillow. Pictures on the the Webb are not how the rooms look. They are completely different. Don’t recommend it to anyone

The hotel was filthy. The bathroom was in terrible disrepair. The room smelled of mold and stale cigarette smoke. The carpet in the hallway looked like it hadn't been cleaned or even vacuumed in a very long time. We had to stay one night because of a very late arrival. I woke up in the morning with a headache from the moldy/smoke smell. Checked out first thing in the morning. We were supposed to stay 3 nights.

This place is a complete dump. Black mold in the bathroom. Sticky floors that have obviously not been cleaned. Splatters on the walls that might be bodily fluids. Grime every where. The place is filthy. And it has an overwhelming smell throughout. A dog barked in one of the rooms nearby all night and the hotel staff of one person did absolutely nothing about it. Stay far away from this place not worth it at any price.

This was in really good proximity for the course I was attending and very close to many good restaurants and Wegman's. However, the room I had was very dated (as the entire place seemed to be), there was some stains and chipping in the surface of the tub, it took a while to get hot water, and the walls are so thin that I could hear the television from the room next to mine . . . until the wee hours of the morning. Also, you have to ASK for utensils, dishes and cooking implements if you want to utilize the kitchen facility in the rooms. Otherwise, the cabinets are empty and you only have the fridge. I didn't see this when I made the reservation (maybe it was in the fine print), but it seems like false advertising to me. Not even a coffee maker in the room! Glad I was only there for two nights, as I didn't get a ton of sleep.

Great location! The hallways were dirty. The AC unit was inches from the bed instead of in the living room. Not a bad stay overall though

Lots of mold and mildew. Water/damp/humidity damage in kitchenette and bathroom. Neighboring room tv loud through walls.

It's an old property. They are very short staffed, the rooms are very basic not as comfortable as the photos. Staff was helpful and friendly but over worked. Vending machines are broken and not owned by the hotel so good luck getting your money back. The wifi is not reliable especially if you need to connect for work. Convenient to Burlington shops, mall and stores.

Very convenient area but definitely a budget stay. The coffee offered in the morning was really bad. There is no coffee maker or utensils or anything in the room- you have to order them. No ice maker you have to make the ice in your freezer. There were 3 pillows not 4 on the double bed. It was clean but desperately in need of an upgrade. Counters chipped and painted in. Same with the bath. The carpet was stained with large red marks almost everywhere. The hallway smelled awful like ketchup and you could tell it was a common complaint because there are air fresheners installed along the way. They were not working. We were worried our room would smell but thankfully it did not- someone left the window open to air it out before we got in. The light in the kitchen was opened and the lid was not on correctly. All the overhead lights even in the lobby had bugs in the covers. I did not see any in the room but was expecting to with age and condition. I get it’s an extended stay and meant for long stays- but I wouldn’t have been able to put up with staying longer than the night. It was a $100 room but it should have been priced lower. Ive stayed in better kept lower chain hotels for much less. I’ve stayed in much older places better cared for.

The bed was very basic, almost cot like. My room was clean but worn. No kitchen items (mugs, plates etc) are included in the stay. You can hear everything! Loud trucks outside, people in the hallway, the upstairs rooms. You get what you pay for in this hotel. It’s just a place to sleep with clean sheets.

When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk, and I needed to wait 15-20 minutes for someone to show up. When she did, she told me that my reservation was in the system but that there was no available room. She tried calling people with reservations who hadn\'t arrived yet (which wasn\'t very confidence-inspiring) to see if they were still coming. She told me "This has been happening all day" (which was even less confidence-inspiring.). Then she found that there was an available room and showed it to me, to make sure it was okay (it was). But when we got back to the front desk to check me in, her boss called and told her to save the room for another guest. She then told me there were no available rooms (even though I had a reservation!) and that my credit card would not be charged. As of today, a week later, I have yet to receive a refund for what I paid for this room.

We booked this stay so that we didn’t have to drive all the way home after a concert at Gillette Stadium, we live in ME so this hotel was on the way home. We were running late and didn’t have a chance to check in the before, and I sent a message to the hotel alerting them of this. We get to the hotel and all of a sudden there’s no rooms. Did not get a call about this, nothing. So here we are, exhausted, and being kicked out of the hotel I reserved for the night. Terrible service, terrible employees, I will never ever stay with this hotel chain again

No one at the front desk I waited over 5 minutes just to checked in. Once staff arrived, she wasn't polite nor greet properly. Onces up in the room, as soon as i turn on lights, I see a big roach. Had to stay there for one night but the next night she be able to updgraded to a different room which is kind of nice. I hope I didnt bring any of roaches home!

We booked a 2 queen bed room and the property did not have a 2 queen bed room when we tried to check in at 12am after a long journey. The front desk was not helpful at all and when I said we never got a call about the availability he said I start my shift at 11pm

Overall we had a good stay and the hotel was close to everything we needed to get to. There was an issue where the faucet for the bathroom sink would detach from the counter when you'd go to turn it on, but it still worked fine! Was hoping there'd be a hair dryer available in the bathroom, but that wasn't a big deal. It took a few minutes to check in, but the receptionist was very friendly and helpful!

Did not like front desk staff checking in or trying to check in so many people all at once and having to wait. Not always having someone at the front desk.

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds to stay one night after a family reunion. When we showed up at 10pm, they told us they only had one room with one bed. They acknowledged that our reservation was for 2 queen beds but oh well! The only way they could help was by offering us another room that also had one bed that we had to pay for. So we had to pay for an additional room. We had packed on 1 suitcase but we’re now on 2 different floors. One of our rooms had no toilet paper and when we tried to call about it, the phone had no cord connecting to anything. Sheets were awful as well. Worst experience.

Price was good and it was close to the highway. Staff was ok overall with the exception of a few grumpy employees. Room was clean and the kitchen and bathroom were better than expected.

Very close to Lahey Hospital. Came the night before because of the bad weather report and the morning appointment. Very satisfied withe reasonable "bare bones" accommodations and price with Expedia. No juice with breakfast. Check-in went well with an accessable room and a close room across the hall for our daughter..

The location of the inn is wonderful, with a good amount of nature, but also lots of restaurants and shops. However, it wasn’t the cleanest. The room had lots of random hairs and dirt, and all the towels I received (even the ones I got after I asked for new ones) had hairs on them. All the appliances worked great, but the refrigerator did constantly make random noises which would be inconvenient for light sleepers.

We booked in order to visit Salem and the drive wasn't bad. It was reasonably priced and minus strange hallway smells (maybe residents cooking? I got the idea some people live here long term) everything was fine. I liked having a fridge and freezer and the beds were comfortable. No major complaints at all.

Economically good. Good for night over and go. Big room. Comfortable bed. They say breakfast included but just a coffee and muffin. Don’t expect hot breakfast.

Check in wasn’t very pleasant however Roman was clean. Early morning noise of the side room was disturbing. Breakfast was simple.

Basic room was satisfactory. Everything is a bit worn. They advertise a breakfast - and technically this is correct, but so far below current standards as to be laughable. Coffee (no decaf) and prepacked muffins. No juice, no fruit, no hot food...

OK place to stay one night. Room is clean but a few places need better cleaning. Trash can has a dirty fork. Microwave and burners look old and rusty. Breakfast is big disappointment, no hot food like sausage and scrambled eggs.

The property is very dirty and staff don\'t care. They do not serve breakfast except having some coffee and muffins. The hot water was out once I got to the station and I asked for hot water for a hot chocolate but the front desk lady told me "what you see is what you get"

There was no room service. We had to walk to the movie hall to get food. Also we order a taxi the next day to go to the hospita, which did not come. The breakfast snack was old.
