Stayed here for concert at The Pearl Theater at the Palms across the street. 10 minute walk to venue from our room and less than half the price in comparison to staying at the Palms. The Gold Coast has been completely renovated and is recommended.

The smoke was intense walking through the casino because the ceilings are not as high and open as other casinos and the ventilation must not be good. And while the sign in the room said “all rooms are non-smoking” the room, which was on the 3rd floor, smelled smoky and my eyes were burning one day when I got out of the shower. The smoke must be blowing in from their ventilation system. Hindsight, maybe the floors higher up may have been less smoky. I wish I had thought to ask to be moved. We almost left and booked at another hotel but
