I never seen a pool so dirty like this. My family and I decided to come here to spend the day in the pool with the kids and when we saw the pool how dirty it was so disappointed I wanted my money back 😭

The price, condition of the property, condition of the room and the breakfast were very good. It was the best place we stayed in on this trip. The only thing I could say remotely as a critique would be the guest laundry could possibly use an upgrade to newer machines and have a card reader installed for payment.

Our trip was very nice. The pool was clean, and the A.C. works. The only thing I didn’t like was that the elevator was making a noise when we got on it. But overall the trip was amazing, would recommend.

Booked this hotel because of their 9.2 rating but was very disappointed once I stepped into my room. The bathroom looked clean but smelled of urine. They cleaned the next day and it still smelled bad. To boot, there was no exhaust fan! Made for a very bad experience. Will not book at this location again.

It looked nice till…facility looked clean for the most part. Desk chair was torn and badly stained. Located right next to freeway, so prepare for road noise. Wok up to cockroaches in the bathroom next morning. Ruined the stay for me, had to leave property to get breakfast elsewhere.

There were dirty towels in our bathroom upon arrival, everything else was very clean. Our room was not the pictured room that i booked and when i spoke with the woman at the front desk she was absolutely no help to us. She said she could speak to the manager who wouldn't be on duty until the next day. When i book a room i make my decision based on the photos of the room. The room we got did not match the photos, so to me that was very upsetting.

Front desk staff was pleasant. Facility was clean. Only negative is we reserved the last king bed room and the mattress had a broken spring actually creating a deep hole in it. Had to be moved to another available room, 2 queens, but still paying for a king room.

Our AC in the room was not working and it was 80 degrees outside even late at night, not to mention we also have a toddler. The front desk ladies told us they have no other rooms available as they were fully booked, understandable, but all they could do and say was “sorry”. This is the first time we encountered this problem wherein the hotel could not even offer us a refund. They were supposed to provide us proper customer service and comfort as paying customers. Lucky for them they have full AC’s on their heads while we were struggling to survive the night. We ended up leaving a little after midnight, looked for another hotel, and filed for dispute. Horrible customer service, won’t be back again for sure.

The one concern about this location is that it is very close to the 99 freeway. There are rooms on the freeway side of the hotel that generate freeway noise all night and is an issue.

Heavy sleepers may not notice, but something to consider in the future is how to reduce noise. My rating is a 3 because I arrived late and needed to rest and did not sleep well.

Noisy, it sounded like someone was running laps on the floor above me dragging their luggage multiple times during the night. Also close enough to train tracks that when the train went by at 3am and blew their whistle it woke me up. Very poor nights sleep

I was so impressed with all of the interactions that I had with every member of the staff. All of them were friendly and kind! I arrived rather late at night, but the night manager that checked me in was so friendly and informative. The two ladies that were helping with the breakfast area were so sweet! I will definitely come back to this location!

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Modesto and had a very disappointing experience. During my stay, my truck was damaged in the hotel’s parking lot. The bed cover was broken, and there were clear marks indicating someone tried to break into it. What made this worse was the complete lack of support from the hotel staff. When I reported the incident and asked if they could check the security cameras, they refused to confirm or deny whether anything had been seen or recorded. They were uncooperative and offered no assistance. I expected better security and a more professional response from hotel staff, especially when a guest’s property is involved. I do not feel this hotel takes guest safety seriously, and I would not recommend staying here—especially if you're traveling with a vehicle.

Needed a room for the night traveling from San Fran to Yosemite. Couldn't have been happier with the stay outside of not spending much time there (we got in late and had to leave early). Check-in was amazing, the desk guy really took care of us. Room was spectacular - super comfy beds, clean (spotless), large, just ideal. Breakfast was awesome - eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc etc. Would have enjoyed staying longer - this place is fantastic.

The rooms were very clean and the front desk was very friendly. The only issue was they ran out of food during breakfast and took quite a while to restock. It was basically the bacon and pancakes.

Not much in the immediate area but lots of establishments just a close drive. Property did have a small onsite store but no bar. Very clean & orderly property with ample parking. Well received by receptionist and a quick check in process. Coffee, tea & water available in lobby. Spacious room with refrigerator, coffee maker & microwave. Elevator is small & warm. My view from room was of nearby freeway but room was very quiet. Breakfast was great & open 6-10am, just wished they had potatoes. Ample seating area with a huge television. Didn’t use pool/exercise area but overall a great little place.

Very clean and as soon as I walked in the hotel I noticed it smell really good. The location is great too, right across from Boomers which immediately faces us something to do. The breakfast however wasn’t so great this time, they usually have variety of options but just eggs and bacon - aside from your basic pastry goods.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Water pressure was great. Only suggestion is to change the breakfast menu. Everytime we stay here, Breakfast is always Bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes and oatmeal. Other Holiday Inns have veggie omelet, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc.
