Key cards not working properly pool was not clean

My experience contacting the hotel before I arrived was horrible. I was told my 2 week stay would be cancelled if I didn’t check in before 2am despite having already paid the entire two weeks worth - and not being able to control the time my flight went in. I called again the next day to confirm with a manager. When told he was busy I asked if he could call me when available, but the same gentleman I talked to the day before didn’t take down anything but my name, yelled something into the phone in another language and then hung up on me. The hotel itself was fine, the breakfast lady and the ladies at the front desk were kind and helpful, and the hotel seemed clean enough. Despite having our “Do not disturb” sign off the door for multiple days, we never received any housekeeping. We ended up going to the front desk numerous times for our own supplies. When I asked the manager for some toilet paper, he gave it to me and asked if I wanted room service to come up. I agreed and told him that we’d be leaving the room shortly, but when we got back, it was evident no one was ever sent to our room. The only time we saw housekeeping is when we reported mold on the shower curtain. The lady was helpful and changed the curtain. She told us she’d bring more supplies for the room but we never saw her again. I also wanted to spend my vacation with the pool, which was unavailable the entire two weeks I was there. When I asked about it, I was told that it was due to rainy weather,

The shuttle driver did not help people with their bags nor was there even room on the shuttle fir suitcases. On return trip we called the Hotel as soon as we landed and they said the shuttle is on the way. The hotel is less than 10min from the airport and we were waiting at the hotel pickup lane for 45min. Same driver, same lack of help with fitting bags in the van. The service is ghetto and should be addressed. Other than that the hotel stay was fine and served its purposes

The property needs updating. Beds were ok. Floors dirty. You have to ask to have your room cleaned the night before. We did, they didn’t. Ice machines didn’t work.

Pool out of service, elevator slow, room across hall from elevator so constant beeping, shower didn’t have hot water, no hand towels or face cloths in room, strange dripping noise coming from some unknown location near bathroom, quality of breakfast was bad (eggs and sausage were extremely fake and bad), door to room not a tight seal (allowed light and noise to come in room), otherwise room kind of nice.

The outdoor pool was unusable as it was not clean after the wind and rain. The breakfast was good.

Unfortunately there were several incidents the first the elevator was down for a couple hours and with knee replacement up and down to and from the fourth floor was a bit difficult. Second someone received the same card key to our room and if the door lock wasn’t placed they would’ve completely walked in during a private moment. That made us feel uneasy thereafter. Third the network was down so we had no wifi and couldn’t pay for our snacks with our card had to be with cash, who carries cash anymore?

The advantage pf this hotel is the price and the distance from the airport (approx 6 min). The overall location, outdoor was poor in maintenance. The front desk staff were great. The shuttle service to the airport, not bad, but the vehicle does not have space to accommodate the luggages.

I hate to leave a poor review of the hotel as it is clear that the employees work hard to keep it clean. The room was neat and clean and smelled of fresh cleaning products. But the hotel looks old and dilapidated and in need of a renovation. The elevator was beaten up pretty bad. The pool had exactly one lounge chair, and despite the attractive picture online, it also it pretty run down. Our room door lock would not open without some serious finagling and four or five attempts. The cleaning lady showed us the 'trick' to get the door to unlock. As I mentioned, the employees keep the hotel clean, but it is worn out.

First of all, website said airport shuttle until 11:00 PM, called at 10:15 PM and said it stops at 10:00. Room had wall with paint peeling and possible mold. Way outdated. No remote with TV. Carpeting in hallway and lobby needs to be replaced. Walls in lobby and hallway needs to be patched and painted. Breakfast okay.

Room had roaches, I stayed three nights and they never came to change garbage or towels had to go to front desk every day for towels, sheets were like sandpaper and reeked of bleach had to by a pillow and blanket so I could sleep in bed first night slept in chair because got a rash from sheets. On the last day was eating breakfast and a roach crawlef across plate. The worst experience ever

I stayed in room 118 which is beneath the lobby. The whole entire floor smelled like it was flooded all mildewy within my bed my room. The bathroom had all mold and rust and was warped from water and the room stunk.

The room was filthy! Used towels, clogged sink and smelled awful. Requested a full refund and has to leave after seeing the accommodations

Bathroom was disgusting

My first room smelled like mildew, and my second room, where I was moved, had mildew in the bathroom and a crack in the wall, and mice running around in there. The shuttle bus had another hotel name on it, and the air conditioning was not working correctly.

I found small roaches in the room

The tub was dirty with hair the room was filthy and there was also a roach walking on my room wall.

Our stay was absolutely terrible. The room was not only disgusting, but full of little cockroaches to the point that i am reporting the hotel to health Services as it’s downright un safe. The staff was extremely rude and unaccomodating to the situation, for them it felt normal. Would absolutely never stay here.

Uncomfortable bed - too soft for my liking, not a nice neighborhood, only one elevator and it was as slow as can possibly be!

Needs updating and refining. Entry light in room flashing. Towel rack loose and broken in bathroom. Bed and AC was fine but i think it needs touching finishes from lobby to elevator to room.

The room was clean, TV not connecting to service, breakfast was average. The property is old and shows much wear and tear.

Pretty average. Decent room in terms of space. Everything worked except the room keys; had to return to front desk. Desk person was slow, indifferent, and unprofessional. Noisy guests in the hall for hours; soundproofing is poor and the desk guy did nothing to quiet things down. Pillows are too hard, as was the mattress. AC was very loud, and the toilet ran every few minutes. Left very early before breakfast, so no ratting for that. Easy to get to, but nothing else nearby. Overall - OK, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The bed was comfortable. The fixtures were old. Windows were drafty, people across the hall were very loud. The walls and door did little to dampen the noise. Room sound proofing is poor. Loosing power lead to decending by the stair with bags and no hot breakfast.

Rooms and Tv were out dated. I feel for the price they could use a little bit of an upgrade. Great location right off the highway.

Pretty good stay overall. Enjoyed the breakfast and the gym. The walls are really thin, could easily hear the guests in the next room.

Staff was great. Room was clean and well maintained. Given the age of the property- engineering is doing a fabulous job. AC worked quietly and efficiently. The carpet in the hallway was dingy but the room was clean. Breakfast was marginal - about what I expected. Would have enjoyed fresh fruit or maybe some cheese.

Gave me the wrong room, shower was dirty, toilet was clogged and they brought me a plunger to clear it myself even though it was already clogged when we got there. Would not recommend staying here if you can stay elsewhere.

Manager jay, was very pleasant also noelle went out of her way to accomodate us after shuttle driver for hotel did not show up twice for us. We had to get rental car back night before she ordered an uber for us and stayed past her 8pm shift till 9 to make aure we were back safe and aound. Next day our flight left at 715 we needed to leave at 5am for airport again no shuttle driver. She made sure airport driver was scheduled for us even though she was not working in am. THANK YOU SO MUCH NOELLE. TEXTED ME WHEN I GOT HOME TO MAKE SURE I HAD A PLEASANT FLIGHT HOME.

We had an annoying number of layovers/delays. When we got to the hotel around 10:30 PM, the night clerk was not very helpful. It took three attempts for the code card to allow us to enter the room. When we finally got into the room, it looked fine, but there were issues. The mattress was ancient and too soft to be comfortable, and many of the fixtures were not in great shape. On the third day, we had a significant amount of time and trouble getting a room refresh (including sheets, towels, etc.). We finally got the refresh at 8:15 PM. The housekeeping staff member had an actual paper list of rooms that needed refreshing. There were literally only two staff housekeeping members. This is for a hotel that has 120+ rooms. The management staff was not what I would call friendly or helpful.

The staff is extremely rude, starting with the shuttle service they offer from the airport to the hotel. The driver, who is already an elderly man, was extremely rude and clearly hates his job. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were attended by a blonde woman with short hair, who was also extremely rude and seemed to have a lot of anger toward her job. After check-in, we tried to enter our room but the key card wasn’t working. We went back to the reception to inform them, and once again she was extremely impolite, questioning why we couldn’t enter the room. She reprogrammed the cards, and as soon as we turned our backs, we heard her insulting us under her breath. I honestly don’t know how someone like that can have a job in hospitality. We stayed at this hotel for 7 days. The only positive point is the cleanliness of the place. Even though the hotel is old and the furniture is outdated, the cleanliness is excellent. Breakfast is also good, but one thing to note is that for some reason the staff constantly kept opening our room door. They entered my room by mistake at least twice a day, which was very strange. Overall, the experience was extremely bad. The only positive points are the cleanliness and the breakfast. Another observation: in the hotel description it says pets are allowed, but if you bring your pet, be prepared for negative looks.

It served its' purpose! It was a nice location. Close to the airport and easy access to surrounding cities like Newport and Providence.

Construction site adjacent. Hotel itself well-maintained and as quiet as possible.

Affordable alternative with a convenient location

Really close to Airport and Interstate 95. However kinda located in an industrial part of town too with not to many food options or store options close by. Breakfast was nice. Room was clean. Staff was great.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and well kept. The facility had a feeling of being slightly outdated or on its way to being outdated but the only real negative was the baby roaches in the breakfast food area.

The staff was nice enough, but the key card deactivated almost every other time and we had to keep going back to the lobby to get new cards. The building was very old and outdated. We had 2 rooms. One was okay. The other smelled like dirty pets so we asked for a different room and it was only slightly better. We went out and bought air fresheners. Someone threw up all over the garbage can in the hallway and nobody cleaned it up for the 3 days we were there. Housekeeping was on demand - and we asked for fresh towels twice & they only had 1 or 2. We had 8 people total between the two rooms. Breakfast was minimal and cold. The breakfast area was a mess and there was not much selection outside of waffles and cold scrambled eggs. The area around the hotel was sketchy. There was a cop sitting right outside the hotel almost the whole time we were there. There was broken liquor bottles in the rear parking lot. La Quinta are my favorite hotels. This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in & we’ve traveled extensively throughout the United States.

Rodent and insect infestations were observed in the guest rooms. Housekeeping services are available upon request, which should on a daily basis. Also, the coffee machine was malfunctioning during breakfast service and there was no other means to get hot water other than to microwave. Aside that, staff are really nice and respectful.

This is a very good hotel. With the new Route 10 spur it is a short 5-10 minutes from the west side of Providence. The breakfast options are very good and delicious. the coffee is terrific and plentiful. The hotel staff does a great job of accommodating needs.
