This is a large property with on-premises restaurants which was handy since the surrounding area doesn't have many options if you need a late dinner. The room was spacious and the bathroom had two sinks with lots of counter space, which made getting ready much easier/better for our family. The property is dog friendly, which was why we selected it even though it is out by the airport rather than near Providence, Newport, or the beaches--and each of those areas is an easy drive. The indoor pool is very small but is open until 11pm which was great compared to many places that are shortening hours. Our only complaint was that the room was not serviced despite a stay of three nights (three people and two dogs) and really did need a vacuum and bath refresh. I was not told at check in that they don't service the rooms daily. Otherwise, a solid option if you want some extra space, free parking, and pet friendly accommodations and are touring colleges/universities or spending time in the greater Providence area.

I booked this room particularly for a Father's day celebration to use the pool. I was notifed upon check in that the pool was out of order,with no apology or explanation as to the reason for the pool being out of order. Another issue is the manager that is working today very uncourteous and rude to the staff. The following morning on 6/16 at approximately I asked the hotel staff a the front desk With the manager who was standing at the front desk at the time testing on her phone and did not even acknowledge or greet me. She replied, “check the pool yourself” As I responded “ I was told the pool was out of order, can you check please? She then refused to acknowledge me and ordered the gentlemen to check the pool. I felt very uncomfortable with this exchange because it was rude and unprofessional. I was also uncomfortable with the way she addressed the front staff desk worker, who she ordered. This person is representing Crowne Plaza Hotel and left a bad impression and was not helpful at all. This was horrible customer service on her behalf and as a patron I will be not returning to this establishment. I observed her behavior and body language with other staff as I was working in the lounge area near the front desk for about 2 hours Her behavior is rude,mean. Very unwelcoming to the patrons and borderline intimidating to her staff. The quality of the customer service by this person was abysmal. Furthermore, I felt bad for the workers that have to deal with this.

I was looking forward to the pool. Unfortunately it was quite small and a bit cold for winter. The restaurant was nice, rooms were great, and staff were friendly. Shuttle to airport was great. I hope they can expand the pool and gym area in the future.

I was very disappointed in this stay. I have stayed at Crowne Plaza before but this experience cut me off completely. I had a mouse running around my room at midnight. I called down and they sent up a man with a bucket to “catch and release” the mouse. I was offered water and snacks and a room change. Okay. Thanks. But when I went to complain to the manager in the morning she was rude and didn’t seem to care. I was not offered compensation or a free night or anything. Tried to offer me 5,000 points(when most hotels are a minimum of 30,000-40,000 points for even a decent stay) when I asked for some kind of compensation. I tried calling the regular manager when I returned home and was just as disgusted at her response and no help at all. I’m sure it wasn’t even a manager because if it really was, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE to say the least.

Bath tub had molds. When we entered the room there was a really bad smell in there and you can’t open windows. AC was working loud and smells. I think carpets smell too. They tried to fix the smell they did it temporary but came back again. Their pool was small and dirty. It was so blurry and they put to much chlorine inside burnt my eyes and lungs. Their breakfast was terrible no taste at all and they want $18pp doesn’t even worth it. We got 2 people free but it was so bad.

It was extremely busy and tons of young girls everywhere for a hockey tournament. It was loud! The room wasn't clean. Had to ckean hair and stuff out of drain and killed a coach roach in bathroom. Carpet was dirty.

Beautiful property, well-kept and very clean. Loved the bathroom that had fragrant, luxurious soaps and was very spacious. Staff were all super friendly. I chose this property based on location and it did not disappoint, we were close to everything including Interstate 95. We would definitely stay here again!

Upon checking in, I was asked to make a deposit for almost double my stay that was not mentioned when booked. After giving push back, they gave me my hotel key. Once I got into my room, I saw it was an adjoining room but that wasn’t the problem. The problem was the adjoining door was so thin, I could hear the guests next door sneeze and clear their throat. That was totally unacceptable. On the day of checkout, they tried to charge my card double. There was a hold for the initial reservation and they tried to charge my card for the entire stay. My bank ended up freezing my card for security reasons because there were so many tries and multiple charges of different amounts from the hotel. I never ordered room service or had anything charged to the room. It was confusing to me that I was expected to pay double the quoted price. And it wasn’t for incidentals or anything of that nature. I’ve NEVER experienced anything of this nature with ANY other hotel and I’m a frequent traveler. I will never use Crowne Plaza for a stay ever again.

My stay was extremely noisy after 9pm. The wife and I had a long day all we wanted was some rest. The bass and music from ballroom and bar is awful. Not sure how anyone could sleep. I know im getting old but we expect some comfort while staying away from home. Also, thought there was complimentary breakfast $18 a person is a bit ridiculous.

We reserved a room with a king bed. They gave us a room with two doubles. When I told the desk clerk that we paid extra for a king, he said he could not refund the difference. Disappointing. Also, the air conditioning did not work. The room was very warm for sleeping.

Everything was good. Expect the breakfast at the restaurant. Only 2 ladies working. They need to hire atleast 3 people. Very slow giving out menu and taking care of customers. They were nice but they need to understand people have to checkout. One couple left without been taking care off. Fix it

They did not have room i paid for and downgraded me to a handicap room which is 20$ less a night then what I paid for . Lied and said it was the same price but that was incorrect! Also they said they charge 50$ a night in case of damage, there was no damage and instead of refunding my 50$ they charged me another 100$!

This is probably the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Super comfortable room/bed. The hotel restaurant food was delisceous! Special comment for Charlie our waiter/bartender. Good location, very clean ,spacious room and friendly front desk . Service in the restaurant for dinner was AWFUL, our waitress never came back after taking our order and we waited about 45 minutes we had to get the manager and she was equally useless and didn't even offer an apology or any courtesy. We had to ask a different waitress for help and she was the only one that offered any apologies or explanation. AVOID THE RESTAURANT!!!

Probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The gentleman at the front desk gave great local recommendations and made a personal connection as we were both heading to Bar Harbor the next day. Breakfast was reasonably priced especially for having smoked salmon on the buffet to go on my bagel and even had capers. Staff at the restaurant was also great.
