We checked in late which is our own fault but the room was dirty as if it wasnt really cleaned. There were dirty scraps of toilet paper on the bathroom floor, and debris of all sorts. The trash bin had something spilled in it like cocacola or chocolate. It was just nasty. I wouldnt reccomend this hotel to anyone. Not worth the price by any means.

Old motel and the room was not clean. The AC was not working well and the hallway leading to the room was dirty. We had a 2nd floor room and the guardrail was very loose and unsafe. Thank you

Room smelled like an ashtray. Curtains wouldn’t cover window completely. Stains on sheets and pillow cases. Hair in the bed and bathroom floor. Lamp shade had marks where cigarettes had been put out on it. We decided to drive home 5 hours in the middle of the night rather than stay in that place.

We left soon after check in because the three rooms we reserved were filthy. The bathroom smelled of recent sexual activity and other things. I gagged. I worked in a hospital setting for 46 years and do not gag easily! These rooms were disgusting!

My room not only was dirty and tbe bathroom was moldy, the toilet was permanently running, the cabinet doors were literally off the hinges below the sink and the frudge was propped open, not working. I took pictures and showed the front office. Tbey switched my room, and it was equally bad. The shampoo and soap was covered in mildew, the floors were "crunchy" because they were not cleaned for so long, the shower had no hot water at all, and the tub/walls/bathroom floors had mildew stains. I literally cannot believe just hkw bad this was. Avoid at all costs!

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. The entire place from the lobby where you checked in to the room smelled terribly. My husband’s feet were black from walking on the carpet in the room. I thought it would be okay when I was booking it because it’s a Wyndham owned hotel. Not so much.

Cockroaches on the bed. People smoking drinks with kids in the parking lot. I was there, and had to pay $200 per night in a different hotel, that I was very lucky, and could find a room available. Worst experience ever. Don’t go there.

There are many businesses and restaurants right next to the hotel and around it. My room was clean, private, and comfortable. For a busy area, it's quiet enough and secure. Front desk lady was sweet, too.

Needs to be upgraded asap. Everything about the room was old and rusty and in very poor condition. Bathroom was shady. Big air vent with a light behind it. Strange. Wouldn't recommend staying there at all.

The people were nice but the rooms were not good. There was oddly only hot water in the shower. The room stunk like cigarette smoke even though it was a no smoking room. Beds were uncomfortable. Towels also smelled like smoke.

Upon check in the staff couldn’t find my reservation after giving numerous identification and then they still couldnt locate reservation my money was deducted already then about four hours took the same amount again off my card so I decided to leave a day early it was too much continental breakfast was granola bars and coffee and then I checked and manager Tony called me to attempt to apologize but said that they needed to charge me 30 plus nore how inconvenient it was a horrible experience I have stayed at numerous Howard Johnson’s and never experienced anything like this

We usually stay at the super 8 by window.Because Renee is usually the one that sets up our reservation.And never , ever makes a mistake , and it always makes us feel welcome and at home. But when we found out , she was also working for the howard johnson , which is also by wyndham we thought , hey , let's give this room a. The room was even better than the super 8.And we enjoyed our stay even more but as usual, the stay would never be as pleasurable.If it wasn't renee who was the one greeting us with a smiling face and always a warm gesture welcoming us in and always giving us a fond farewell by our names. Not just okay.Have a great day.It's always okay , sarah and daniel have a good stay and always by sarah and daniel can't wait to see you again. You guys at super eight and howard johnson have a superstar on your hands when it comes to greeting clients , and I really believe that without renee , you wouldn't have the clientele count that you have now , she deserves a raise. You're amazing renee

It’s actually pretty nice for a motel so definitely worth the price! I do love Commerce as well and it’s really just a nice southern town where my family is all from so despite these kind of motels looking a tad bit sketchy usually, Commerce is much better safety wise than a place like Atlanta or in metro Atlanta. The Hibachi restaurant down the street is also one of my favorites ever and the portion sizes are insane - I had leftovers for 3 days!

The stay was friendly but our room was rather unkept. The beds looked as if they had not been cleaned and the bed was clumsily made. There was a dirty sock in the corner of the bed. Graffiti was on a photo against the wall. The bath tub had broken shelves and the room smelled like cigarettes and mold. The floor was in need of a major vacuuming. There was also quite a bit of activity in the adjacent hotel that was just beside “Super 8” it “appeared” as if lots of women were going back and forth in the short amount of time we were there. The batteries on our security door went bad and we had to wait until someone could fix it before we could get back in our room. I was traveling with my younge daughter and niece and I did ask the clerk if this was a safe area and she told me yes. However I felt just the opposite. Again the staff was very friendly and prompt but the rooms were not good and the area was not safe feeling.
