The pool and sitting areas were very nice, the breakfast selection was great, and he front desk staff were ALL amazing! Only complaint was the $30 a day parking fee...that was a 45% fee on top of the room rate. I felt like that was taking advantage because there was no parking anywhere else. I did appreciate that they waived that fee for folks who had loved ones at the hospital.

Once I was able to find the parking garage, it is pretty tough to see the sign depending on which direction you approach from, I found everything else to be great. The free breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and I ate all 3 nights in the dining room. The 1/2 price happy hour prices couldn’t be beat and the portions were great!!!

This venue is very convenient and comfortable. The staff was very professional and pleasant. There's a little difficulty getting into the parking deck based on the configuration of registration and parking. The bed was very comfortable, the unit was clean, the bathroom was very ergonomic. The restaurant on site is okay. The only real negative is that hotels.com doesn't tell you that they charge for parking. It's understandable, but would have been nice to know in advance. Otherwise, overall this is a great place and I would come again anytime.

The good stuff: Nice pool area. Great breakfast. Easy to Uber from location. The not-so-good stuff. Night 1 - huge roach crawled across the wall. This incident, they took care of right away, and upgraded us to a better room. Was dealt with swiftly and with great customer service. However, it was around 11pm, and climbed right into bed when we got to the suite. Then....DAY 2: Got up and looked down at the bed, and realized there were pee stains all over the sheets that were NOT ours. Very gross to realize we just slept in urine stains. Let the front desk know, and was told they'd fix the problem. Get back from a long day exploring the city, and find the bed has NOT been changed. There were clean sheets folded and left for us in the room, but in a phone call to the front desk, we were told we should have requested them be put on the bed! ??? The rep said we would need to change the DIRTY STAINED SHEETS ourselves and make a new bed. I have NEVER heard of the before in ANY hotel stay! Explained we were paying customers, and shouldn't have to clean a dirty bed left by other guests. Then, the front desk said they were the only staff in the hotel, and would not be able to leave the front desk unless they could find someone to run it for them. So - we changed the gross sheets, and never heard from staff about it again. SO DISAPPOINTED. I've always loved staying in Fairfield Inns, but this experience has me questioning the Marriott brand.

We were in Room 608 on 6/8 and the bedding and pillows were stained with what looked like hot sauce. We pulled the nightstand back and there were toenails and trash behind it. I have pictures I can send if needed.

The bed wasn’t great but it was tolerable. Parking is an additional $25. There were dirty rags left in my room, the room itself had damaged walls and they were stained. Less than subpar for the money. Do not recommend.

Fairfield was wonderful!! From the time we arrived until we left, the service was amazing. I can’t think of anything that they didn’t have for their complimentary breakfast. It was delicious! The rooms were neat, clean, and quiet. I look forward to staying with them again.

First of all, Hotels.com needs to advertise the final price with tax and parking. Little did I know until after the reservation was booked that $30 parking for an overnight stay wasn't included in the price. The Fairfield is okay. They were kind enough to comp. the parking fee since I was there because a family member had surgery. Rooms are pretty nice, however the comfort of the 2 double beds in the room we stayed in was awful. The mattress was extra firm, hard actually. I would say that it was just my age, but my 42 year old daughter also couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep well. I would have asked for a different room but it had been a very stressful day during my family member's surgery and we'd already gotten undressed and ready for bed. The heat/air system was so loud I finally turned it off and pulled up the covers. The room we were in was on the side of the building that faced Truist Bank, so lots of light came in even around the black out drapes. Also that side of the building had a lot of street noise from the traffic below. The best part of this stay was the breakfast the next morning.

Room was good, staff was friendly, we had to call the first night we were there because our air conditioner was not working. A maintenance guy came to the room and worked on it, but it would not stay on cool it kept reverting the air back to 80 degrees. We had to get up several times during each night we were there because it would get so hot in the room while we were trying to sleep. Also I think charging people that are staying in your hotel for parking is wrong. We paid to stay and then we paid to park our car for 2 days and never left the parking garage after we got there until we left this morning.

I was charged upon check-in for my stay and parking after having already paid hotels.com. I have made several attempts to get a refund from Fairfield and have yet to get my money back. I have been forced to pay both charges (hotels.com and Fairfield) on my credit card in order to prevent late fees. I will definitely never stay there again and probably won’t use hotels.com again either to avoid any future issues with duplicate charges.

I checked in on a Tuesday! On Wednesday morning I had to talk into an interpreter app so the staff could understand! (Anyways she said she understood!!) I told her to just replace the towels! Got back to my room in the evening! No towels!!! Had to call to get towels! They brought towels up! I told front desk to have clean towels and trash removed THURSDAY! Nothing again! Called down NOT HAPPY told them again no clean towels and trash way overflowing everywhere because it has been three days AND we needed toilet paper! The lady said, “Do you want your trash out or toilet paper! I said both plus clean towels! She said I will have towels and toilet paper brought up but there is no one here to collect trash, could you please just put it outside your door! I said we have NO TRASH BAGS!! GUESS WHAT Friday evening? No TOWELS!! And on top of all that I was charged $25 day to park but another lady was only charged $9!! Never staying here AGAIN!!!

Our stay here was terrific! We came for a concert in Charlotte and it was easy to get to from the Ovens auditorium. Front desk was super helpful and friendly, it was easy to check in, parking was simple and had In-N-Out privileges. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, although whatever they used for air freshener was overpowering and very chemical smelling but that was our only complaint at all! The breakfast was amazing and the staff there were super kind! We will stay here again!

Clean and comfortable, dining options at the hotel and walking distance. Walking distance to BOA Stadium, we visited NC for the Copa America, and public transportation options available. Art and NASCAR museums also at walking distance from the hotel! Great visit!

Located in downtown Charlotte, Fairfield is very nicely maintained, quiet and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. NOT within walking distance of shops or restaurants, but that’s why it’s so such a quiet and safe area. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

New Year’s Day we went down for breakfast at 9:30 and they had it shut down! It’s unheard of to stop breakfast any earlier than 10am on weekends. Desk staff was less than happy to be at work. Good amount of filth built up in the showers. I’d look for a better place next time

We were in Charlotte attending a concert. We only stayed at the hotel to sleep, take showers, and eat breakfast. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The clerk that checked us in (initials MCL, per my receipt) was very personable and attentive to detail. She was customer-focused and willing to accommodate our needs. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had over my years of travel. That staff was very friendly. Overall, a very pleasurable stay.

The bed and pillow were very comfortable. The restaurant food was delicious, and the prices were reasonble. Kudos to Debbie, the restaurant manager. She gives great customer service. There was a hotel shuttle that ran from 10am-10pm, and we were able to easily go between the hotel and the Charlotte Convention Center. Kudos to shuttle driver, Louis. He was so friendly and helpful! I would stay here again in the future!
