Stayed 4 nights. Advertised free breakfast that was not available, not even coffee, desk person said vendor quit. Said we would get a discount but was charged full price. Very rundown and needs several repairs. Room was clean but the hallway carpet was dirty. There was no maid service. Had to leave linen and towels outside room for exchange and person just left them on hall carpet that had drywall dust all over. Had to go to desk to get soap and clean washcloths. Completely broken out window in Ice/laundry room. Looks to have several rooms occupied permanently. Would not use this place again.

The room was clean and comfortable (especially the bed). They are in the midst of a remodel so the lobby area is pretty sparse, but the rooms are nice and I can tell that they’ve been recently updated. The lady at the front desk was really welcoming. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and the price was great!

This place looks like it was renovated by a slum lord. Nothing works right and the shower head moves when you use it. Honestly, the place probably needs to be condemned.

Friendly, helpful staff, in process of being remodeled, microwave, refrigerator, TV, coffee, but no breakfast, which was fine with us because McDonald’s is across the street. We loved having Culver’s across the street for other meals and shakes.

The staff was very nice and helpful! What I didn't like was the air-conditioner didn't work properly. The bedside outlet didn't work and there was no elevator. On a good note we did get a different room for the next 2 nights in which the ac worked. I did not like that there was no bedside table in the second room or chairs.

Room was average to good halls were dirty laundry room was a disaster staff did not speak except to say there was no breakfast as they had no food. There was some updating going on in the units but long overdue in other areas.

Very nice front desk attendant and owner called us for review. Hair all over sheets (did not appear to have been washed), none of the floors appeared to have been cleaned in quite some time, bathtub had someone elses hair in it and floor was very dirty. Older building, new appliances, needs top notch cleaning crew!

I am disappointed that Expedia would even consider accepting this poor excuse for a hotel in there line up of rental properties. The facility is the worst I have seen in 18 years working in the industry. A dump would be a compliment to say the least. The hotel had holes cut out in the walls. The fire alarms were hanging down off the ceilings. The carpet in the hallways was lifting everywhere. Their was no room service. The hotel stank to high heaven, even in the rooms. the exit signs had wires wrapped around them. The toilet seat was falling off. There was trash cans full around the property with no service and needles left in the parking lot. If any readers read this comment, please do not stay there. The only good thing about this place is the staff was nice. Nothing else to recommend this place.

The room was "clean"... but the mattresses, window curtains, the bathroom walls, the room walls are stained. The rooms looks old and it smells, has a cigarette smell to it. Overall it wasnt great.

There was blood on the side of our bathtub and on the bathroom door. Hair in the bathtub. The ground in our room felt sticky, and I did not want to ever take my shoes off. There was a hole in our blanket. The whole premises smelled of smoke. The breakfast was the saddest breakfast I had ever seen. It was oatmeal packets, unripe bananas and nature valley bars. Everything was super run down. I was nervous our car was going to be broken into because of how the nearby area looked. We were there for three days and either in the hallway or another room there was a smoke alarm that beeped continually of needing batteries to be replaced, which made me feel unsafe that the smoke alarms weren’t up to date. The laundry room was not functioning. There was only one liner for the shower. No drain stop for the bathroom sink. The complimentary toiletries were super low quality. One of the exterior doors did not work. The toilet clogged while we were there and we had to unclog it ourselves instead of a maintenance person coming out.

This was not spectacularly bad or good. The pillows were the thickness of pancakes, the bed was uncomfortable, I woke up with a sore lower back and had 350 miles to ride on my motorcycle the next day! No desk in the room, had to sit on the bed to work on my laptop. The staff was not unfriendly but also not eager to help. Bad coffee in the morning too, made in those horrid silver percolators that burn the coffee. So, not good but definitely not the worst I have went to either.

The room exceeded my expectations for a solo person, was not expecting to need to extend my stay here, but this place is perfect for myself. The room is spacious for a solo person and even couples (had guests), with plenty of storage space, and was very cleam. The bed & couch were comfy & modern, there is a full sized fridge along with a great mounted smart tv, it was easy to connect to my streaming services. The couch can turn into a futon as well. The workers are all friendly and great, It was very simple & easy to extend my stay, and Zach was very incredible & professional. Only things I would suggest for more "comfort" would be a rug in the room and a small/mid sized chair.

The noise on the 3rd floor was terrible and try to change room and they did not want to. The manager none of them help enough to keep the noise. I did not know that was going to be like that, I hope never stay in this place.

I stayed 3 nights and I didn't get Wi-Fi for at least one hours. It's said breakfast included. But there were one type of granola bar, oatmeal, one kind of fruit , coffee and orange juice. Bed making noisy.

The view of the city was not a view at all. It was a half basement floor and the view was a painted wall. The floor was uneven so the bathroom door could not be shut. The air conditioner pushed cold air, yay! But it was musty mildewy air. The highlight was the continental breakfast was just begels. From Black Hills Bagel shop i believe. The beds were so so, and there was not enough towels. Will i stay there again? Not at that price. It WAS Sturgis Rally week, but c'mon man.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very small, no room for open suitcases except on beds. Did have a full size fridge, a dorm size would be better so there’s more room but it was nice to use the freezer for my ice packs. Beds were not the most comfortable and the pillows were very flat. My kids did love the very large tv!

Tried telling me at check in that they lost my reservation however they still had rooms. Wanted to charge me more than double what i booked over a year ago. Several other travelers experienced the same story about hiw the place recently sold. That is a horrible way to treat travelers... Very disappointing.

We got in around 11:00 p.m., the front desk lady was helping someone else but she took the time to look up and let me know that she would be with me, when the phone rang she quickly, took care of that and took care of me. Was very apologetic for making me wait. When she asked what we were in town for and I told her for Mount Rushmore she came out from behind the desk got a map & was like this is where you need to go and while you're there you need to do the thread the needle. It's very awesome. This is the road you would take. She was very helpful. Very polite. The room was was neat and tidy. All the decor matched. It was very quiet. When we came into the hotel from visiting Mount Rushmore. Once again the front desk was asking us how we were doing. They greeted us. They were very cheerful. They were very pleasant. They asked how our stay was. Out of all the hotels that we stayed in during our trip. This was by far the best one. The only negative thing would be that they didn't have any ice but that was because there was an issue with the ice machine and it was being worked on as we were leaving

Centrally located for my husband and I to visit our relatives. Reasonably priced and we had a king bed, AC, great water pressure, coffee and cold bottle water 24/7. Front desk ladies were so friendly and gave recommendations of places to see and always had a smile.

The room was nice and the AC worked well. Grab and go breakfast was a joke. Luckily there is a McDonald's right across the street. Large group of people who live there always conjugating on the porch smoking. Also a lot of homeless people out on the street right around the corner from the motel.

When we walked to the lobby door, there were chicken bones an the sidewalk right outside the door. The room looked nothing like the pictures on Expedia. It was clean, but very dated. The areas of the property that we were in all smelled like cigarette smoke. We were informed that the breakfast was grab and go, which was fine, however when we went to the lobby around 7:30am there was 1 granola bar, a few packets of oatmeal and some very small apples. We didn't bother taking anything. This room was $150 and our hotel the next night, in Hill City, was much nicer and only $125 (Everspring Inn and Suites).

The price was very reasonable. The free breakfast was hot cereal, but no milk, granola bar, and a piece of fruit. The apple juice was very watered down. I did not try the orange juice. The hotel is old and in need of updating. The walls seem paper thin because you can hear everything so really no privacy. I could also hear people walking on our ceiling. I wish we would have stayed elsewhere.

The view of the city was not a view at all. It was a half basement floor and the view was a painted wall. The floor was uneven so the bathroom door could not be shut. The air conditioner pushed cold air, yay! But it was musty mildewy air. The highlight was the continental breakfast was just begels. From Black Hills Bagel shop i believe. The beds were so so, and there was not enough towels. Will i stay there again? Not at that price. It WAS Sturgis Rally week, but c'mon man.

Friendly, helpful staff, in process of being remodeled, microwave, refrigerator, TV, coffee, but no breakfast, which was fine with us because McDonald’s is across the street. We loved having Culver’s across the street for other meals and shakes.

The property was advertised as free breakfast. On Friday breakfast was granola bars and bananas, Saturday there was no breakfast, Sunday what is powdered donuts poured into a plastic container. I would not of booked us super eight if I had known there was not going to be a substantial breakfast.It was pathetic.
